I want to throw this out there; does anyone agree with how Splatfest results are determined? The final scores are determined by win percentage AND a team's population, with the more popular team getting more points. In fact, so far, no Splatfest team anywhere in the world has won and NOT been the more popular team. I am opposed to popularity affecting results. Splatfest is about winning enough points for your team to win, and that requires playing the matches to help them out. Having popularity effect the competition feels outright dumb to me. One team outfights the other, only to lose because the other team had more people? I can't stand that logic, and for that matter, I'm sure plenty agree, as I've seen similar reactions on Miiverse and Squidboards. Leave popularity out of the results entirely; don't mix a battling competition with a popularity contest. Sorry for my rant.

Rest in wonderful peace, Mr. Iwata... We indeed understand. We understand all but one thing. Why did you have to leave the living so soon...? Why did this stupid illness... Sigh... The best I can do is keep enjoying video games, and I don't need to be asked to do so.

Yeah... The Game Grumps tend to skip dialogue and cutscenes, thus not really showing off stuff, then they sometimes get stuck because they skipped stuff (which is pulling off a Grumps, according to NCS of TRG). They even have editing in annotations post-production, but they fail to acknowledge their errors, unlike Let's Players such as Chuggaaconroy (and by extension, TheRunawayGuys, as he edits videos for that channel) and MasaeAnela (especially Masae), who acknowledge errors and usually try to show stuff off. I really get bothered when people completely miss big stuff in LPs and don't point it out either in the end, or within editing.

1) I didn't mind Awakening's plot. I tend to have a high tolerance for below-average plots for some reason. 2) I think since FE is popular now, people are being more nitpicky about it because its no longer an "underdog" franchise. At least, I think. 3) I don't mind the fanservice and tend to ignore it. 4) (It's related to video games, right?) TheRunawayGuys are more entertaining to me than Game Grumps.

I say this NX business is fake. First off, it'd only be four years since the release of the Wii U. I know they got up to a rough start, but their recent games such as Splatoon and Smash Bros have picked up sales, so I wouldn't get to thinking about jumping to the next level yet. Second, Zelda U hasn't even been shown off extensively. It was outright bypassed this year at E3, and considering it looks to be a big game, why would they release it so close to the apparent date of the NX release, even with the Nintendo Directs? Also, didn't I hear that Pokken Tournament was supposed to come out for the Wii U sometime after we found out about it, yet the only Pokken content shown in English so far was a trailer that stated that it will be released in arcades in Japan? Pokemon doesn't even have a big game (sorry, Rumble) for the Wii U yet. Third, the release date is in July, one month from school starting. This is an awkward month to release a console, when it should be released at a more reasonable month such as late in the year, when it is the holidays, and people will be buying gifts. Early Summer works as well, as people are usually starting to get out of school, and they can go buy a new console to keep them occupied on break. July seems too late. That's why I'm very certain that the NX information is baloney. Tell me if I missed something for or against my points.

I'm aware of when 5 takes place and assumed it explains what happens to Finn hence me acknowledging his existence in that game, I just dunno what events happen in the game because I've yet to see it, that's all. I'd rather not be spoiled, though.

TIKI IS IN 7TH OUT OF EVERYONE YES JAPAN LOVES TIKI I LOVE HER TOO but lets be honest she should be number 1 forget ike tiki is best *ahem* Back to seriousness... Interesting to see Finn up there. I guess Japan liked how he developed in FE4? (Haven't seen 5 yet, so I dunno what happens with him there) I think since there are two instances of Ike, one being more lean and the other being more buff, he might have gotten love from people who like one side and people who like the other, plus people who like both instances of him. A similar reason may be why Tiki's up there, too; some like her as a cute, happy child, and others like her as a sweet, mature adult, and some like Tiki in both of her instances, so Tiki got voted up to 7th. That's just my theory, though.

I'd be down with some of a FE game's soundtrack having rock music, as long as it's more alternative (is that the right genre I'm thinking?) than metal. I'm thinking more similar to Xenoblade Chronicles' soundtrack. That'd be awesome.

ahh tiki is adorable yet again because she doesn't look too young or have big breasts riteI personally like adult Tiki the most out of all the Tikis (even more so in fan art that doesn't emphasize her breasts). I think it's because she's a mature, grown up version of her younger self, yet she's still the same kind dragon who likes making friends. :3

Huh... This is rather unexpected... Children are back? Well, I'm sure I can easily tolerate it (heck, I tolerate plenty of stuff in video games, except visual nightmare fuels, MY ONE WEAKNESS), but I wonder how it will be implemented. I doubt IS will resort to the whole "time travel" thing, though; surely they obviously know it would be too much of a callback, not to mention unneeded for this kind of story about loyalty to a kingdom. I do, however, wonder what they could do... Nothing comes to mind at the moment. On a side note, Kanna is adorable, and her pointy ears make it even worse gaaaahhhh

I got the game about a week ago, and I'm hooked on it (no pun intended)! I'm at level 20 now, and I like the turf-claiming gameplay. I wish they allowed for pants (I'm not a fan of long sleeves with shorts, ulch) and more hairstyles, but I'm content! I also like the Inklings, being the humanoid, pointy-eared, skin-masked (or whatever, you know what I'm talking about) and fanged creatures that they are. :3 BTW, is anyone aware of the 15-page Splatoon manga? It's been translated, and I found it amusing. :P

In response to the style argument, I say who cares if tattered clothing started with Ike or Roy? Tattered clothing is nowhere near a new concept in today's world, especially in mideval fantasy media. No one stole another person's style.

I didn't mean to imply that I'm taking her side (or any side) in this. I'm stating that if anyone in general encounters any kind of content in a post and they feel it is a personal attack on them or a group of people, then they should use the report button if they are so confident that that the content poster's behavior is wrong and should be punished. Whatever the mods do, be it listen to or decline the report, will be the correct judgement.

Ana, if Chiki is offending you, you can use the report button on his posts or user page. The mods can handle the situation. Also, little fun fact: For a good while after seeing adult Tiki in Awakening (before I grew fond of her), I never realized she had giant breasts in her sprite portrait. :P

I'm guessing she already found out via other means, like I did (I found out via GameXplain). At least, I hope she did.Anyways, glad to see Roy back, and looking so awesome, to boot! :D Hopefully he's better than in Melee and FE6. :P btw fe6 remake confirmed *slapped* Ryu is an interesting addition. I know little to nothing about him, let alone Street Fighter, so I can't form a strong opinion on him, but he will be interesting to see in the game.

Ehh... I wouldn't consider myself one of those people who hate stuff only because of their appearance. In fact, I find hating a character solely because of appearance (or because the camera focused on a part of their body, which has nothing to do with the character themselves) rather discrimintory. Tiki as an adult has big breasts, something I usually don't like, personally. However, despite this, I really like her, due to her personality and dragon connections, and that's before accounting for her beautiful face, pointy ears and hair, making her one of my favorite FE characters.
