Actually, I only truly dislike a handful. A majority I'm just neutral/okay with. I'm neutral on Idunn, more or less. It's just that we've had so many female gauntlet winners that that kinda bores me now.

You're still effectively eliminating a very noticable chunk of units in the game by choosing not to join specifically female characters that you're at least only neutral towards or don't know about, which is before counting your hated characters (no matter the gender). Whatever your reasons, you're making it noticably harder for yourself to participate in a VG and get those resources, boring outcome or not. Maybe think about what you're mentally sacrificing by joining a character you're indifferent about, without factoring in gender.

Maybe so. But I play the game to have fun and I don't have fun if I have to support a character I don't care for. :P

It seems like you really don't care for over half if not 3/4ths of the characters in FE in general from what I've seen. Is supporting someone you are indifferent about so antagonizing to you mentally that you can't simply ignore it? Assuming that by "don't care" you don't mean "hate".

The Gen 1 units are removed from New Hero and Seasonal banners.

You can still pull them on VG banners, Skill banners, etc etc even if they aren't a focus. Basically they're making it easier to get a good unit on the banners with new heros. IF there are no new heroes on the banner its a full summoning pool.

I'm a little confused...? At least they're not gone, but I'm sorta confused as to the point. The new hero percentage doesn't change, and plenty of the units removed from normal pools are very viable.

They're not gone everywhere, I get it, but this sounds like something to send feedback about to reverse.

If you had bothered to read the whole conversation, you'd know that I wasn't talking about those, and was instead talking about Smash Run not returning because it was an exclusive mode to Smash 4.

...*facepalm* For someone who baselessly claimed I didn't notice modes unique to games, you don't seem to be paying attention.

Your logic is "There are modes in past games that did not continue in future games, so the same applies to Smash Run" which can easily be contradicted by how there are modes introduced in past games that keep continuing on (never mind that Adventure Mode in Melee and Brawl can count and you'd be relying on technicalities to claim they're different). Stage Builder was in Brawl and continued. Multi-Man was in Melee and continued. All-Star was in Melee and continued. Nothing says that Smash Run can't potentially return and there is no logic to even hint at this. Who says it's exclusive to the point of not coming back? If you're relying on word before Ultimate was even teased because it's exclusive to the 3DS and isn't on the Wii U, that's not reliable logic as it doesn't account for Ultimate for obvious reasons.

Is not a mode outside of the 3DS version of Smash 4, and thus, will probably not be returning.

That's not conclusive evidence. Are you just saying that because the 3DS version is "inferior"? Because by that logic, none of the 3DS stages should have come back, but here we are.

I would be salty if a troll pick like Brigand Boss or Jorge made it into the game just because of CYL votes. I don't feel too strongly about characters I dislike so I'd be fine with them getting in Heroes. Though if someone with barely any characterization like Fiona, Lyre, Kyzha, etc. made it into the game over far more popular and compelling characters, I'd be upset.

Can't say I agree with getting upset with characters lacking characterization getting in. If anything, Heroes is their best opportunity to GAIN characterization, especially if there's a Forging Bonds event. I'd love that for characters like Vika, who looks pretty and seems nice yet got ignored characterization-wise due to the lack of supports.

  7. Looks like Taliesin Jaffe's taking over Bruno for his Critical Role pal Travis. And appropriately enough, he's a healer. :P

Probably gonna skip due to my lack of interest in goofy outfits, but I find Marisa's deadpan line and Veronica's "I am a rabbit" hilarious.

also halloween frederick should be a zombie with a replica of lissa's axe "through his body" because that warriors glitch was hilarious

Yeah, because we still have two threads, and we only need one. I'm just trying to get both threads merged or one locked.

You already reported the thread, no reason to even think about posting about merging them or asking for dibs because others were topic starters more often than you. The topic starter doesn't matter.

    2 hours ago, Tybrosion said:

Yeah, and that asshole literally only has three lines to date, two of which are just:

    ”You.”

    ”My name is Lif.”

And yet he got like 16th in CYL3. It’s times like this where I feel democracy was a mistake.

I mean, there's plenty of Radiant Dawn units that could benefit from being in Heroes just to gain character, especially with Forging Bonds being a thing. :P Vika when

Dude, come on. I posted a thread for this first. Mods, can y'all lock?

It's better to get their attention by using the report feature. Regardless, dibs don't matter. We're here to discuss, not race to make topics first for glory of...nothing, really.

Anyways, it seems to be a toss-up between Eirika, Micaiah, and Ayra on the left due to the long hair and hair strands. No clue on the right, though, given it may likely be an outright hat.

  10. No one. Not even any of the few FE characters I hate.

Honestly, wanting specific characters to never be added to Heroes comes off as extremely petty and selfish. Just because one hates a character doesn't mean others won't like them, and wishing for their joy not to happen just because one hates the character sounds wrong over something so trivial. It's like getting angry that a restaurant has something you're not interested in.

Either use them for skill inheritance, send them home, or divulge into your personal fantasies of beating them up whenever you see them on the map. That's it.

The guy who does Donnel's voice might do a good Brom. Sam Regal, I think his name is? Or something like that? I don't know many voice actors, though, so maybe he's a poor choice.

ahem, it's THE emmy award-winning* Sam Riegel, thank you very much

In all seriousness, I'd say Sam's a great talent. He's voiced Tales of Vesperia's Flynn, Phoenix Wright from Marvel vs Capcom going forward, and he plays in Matt Mercer's streamed D&D game. Not only that, but he is a hilarious goofball who does the most silliest things imaginable like make hilarious advertising skits every episode of said D&D game or wear a shirt of Mercer making a goofy face. Multiple times.

As for who I want in FE, I'd say Danielle McRae. She's lent her voice in games like Skullgirls and Detective Pikachu and expressed wanting to voice a character in FE, and I'd say she could do a good strong-woman voice for...I dunno, maybe Echidna.

I'd be disappointed if Mementos was the stage choice. It is very much the weakest aspect of Persona 5.

Also quite baffling that in a game that offers such insane possibilities as a government building cruise ship, a burger company in space, a casino, a mafia bank, an art museum, a sex castle, and an Egyptian techno-pyramid, they went with Mementos.

I mean, they probably wouldn't have gone with something like a "sex castle" anyways considering the target audience includes younger folks. :P

Yeah, and those words implied to me that you think only certain people can be accused of it. If I misunderstood, I'm sorry, but I'm surprised you don't even get why I saw it the way I did. But fine, I don't want to talk about this anymore either, before it gets too out of control.

Well, that's right. Certain people can only be properly accused of that, which easily includes people who were in a relationship with the person they are inflicting it on are included in the group of those certain people, as said in the article. What the article does not mention (not to mention I never said anything about it) is anything about race in a similar capacity. You cannot be reasonably surprised when there are so many other logical conclusions to jump to that were actually mentioned more relevantly instead of race of all things. The only logical surprise is mine and anyone else's to your logic for thinking it's reasonable to accuse me of racism.

Now I'm done speaking on this. Point is, AB has made too many mistakes that were his responsibility to avoid and he didn't bother following said responsibilities. Because of this, he's not worth keeping on the team when he's only going to hurt it. Not going to respond to any more of your takes on this for now.

  14. 22 minutes ago, Anacybele said:

Then you shouldn't go saying things like "only certain people commit domestic violence." That comes off as racist or discriminatory.

That isn't even exactly what I said. "Domestic violence doesn't apply to just anyone." was my actual quote. That in no way means I implied race is a factor let alone the only factor communicated here and can very understandably imply the people should be in some sort of relationship first including having a baby, which is what the story on AB was clearly about.

You effectively accused me of racism for no good reason because you jumped to conclusions on poor, uncertain logic off a misquote. We're done talking here. I'm very disappointed, and I do not regret my choice of words you so criticized me for.

  15. 5 hours ago, Anacybele said:

Oh, so only black people can commit it? Because AB is black while I'm white? Is that what you're saying? It is NOT a race issue, that is so wrong.

    ...the hell?

The article does not imply in any way that only people of certain races can commit domestic violence. I do not understand how you came to that conclusion. I asked you to reread because it mentions it can occur between sexual partners, which if I understand correctly includes a woman and a man whom the woman had a baby with, which is the case here.

Please think carefully before you just out and accuse people of racism.

Not bullcrap. Every comment I see on Twitter or Facebook talks about his "abandoning" the team and such. No mention of the traffic thing.

Of course not, I was only pointing out that he didn't kill anyone. He was an idiot to drive like that, I'm not arguing against that.

Shoving her? That's not "domestic violence" lolwut. Domestic violence would be punching and kicking her and making her bleed and bruise. Geez. All she did was hurt her wrist a bit. I'm not defending AB here, he shouldn't have pushed her, that was really uncalled for, but it isn't like how Ray Rice literally BEAT his wife.

Yet somehow the domestic violence news that was notable enough to get on ESPN not too long ago evaded your eye. Still bullcrap because I searched up "brown 100mph" and "ab 100mph" just now on Twitter, looking at latest tweets and there's a fair amount of people calling him out for it nowadays at a time where it's not news.

Oh, you thought I believed him to be an intending murderer. I don't, but damn, is he reckless.

Shoving counts as domestic violence. And knock off the "lolwut" laughter stuff, that's obnoxious, especially when you get something wrong in the same remark because you didn't double check the facts. Might not be punching and cutting, but it still falls under the definition.

Edit: And AB is already adding more friction.

Yes, but I'm not constantly shitting on him. xP

Yes, but that's not what fans are shitting on him for, they're shitting on him for leaving that one game. Also, he didn't kill anyone regardless. And what incident are you talking about? I haven't heard anything like that.

Bullcrap. Pretty sure they're ticked at him for causing all this drama and turning his back on the team among his off-the field antics.

Just because he didn't kill anyone does not in any way justify that he put himself as a danger to society. Him not crashing into someone does not make it any less idiotic or bad that he drove that stupidly fast when the potential to kill existed in the first place, let alone for something that requires a ton of responsibility like driving a car. The ends do not justify the means.

And here's that domestic violence news. The woman may have cancelled her report, but that doesn't justify shoving her.

    Flacco to Denver is interesting.

On another note, AB's talking to the Rooneys again. That's a good sign. Previously, he tweeted that he was leaving us. :(

Hopefully now the damn drama will be history. AB had no reason to act the way he did. Upset about how the Steelers have been doing lately? Sure. I totally get it. Tomlin can't seem to coach this team to another SB for crap. And AB like any star just wants a ring and he deserves one for all his skill. But he reacted stupidly to this feeling and it just made things worse. I was prepared to sell my AB merch if he left. No reason to keep things for a player that no longer plays for us.

I think the fans have been overdramatic as well though. Like sure, AB made a dumb mistake here and he has to answer for it. But these fans shitting on him act like he murdered someone! Jesus Christ. Be mad at him, but don't act like he's the devil. He's actually a legit nice guy and his heart is always in the right place. It's his head that wasn't here and he does need to get it out of his ass. But I'm not going to trash him for one mistake.

didn't you say you were no longer a fan of juju because he fumbled the ball which was one mistake

And technically, he did risk potentially killing someone by driving 100 MPH on the road AND he got into a domestic incident with a woman not too recently. That's not only more than one mistake among others, but also some of the most idiotic and potentially harmful things you can do as a person. Honestly, trade that mess away. He has accumulated so much baggage and I've honestly lost so much respect for him. I also think many other Steeler fans hate him a lot as well, and next he shows up at Heinz, he's getting his butt booed to hell, no matter what.

A great player he may be, but he's got a messy reputation that the team he gets traded to (yes, I don't think he's playing for the Steelers again) has to potentially deal with it. If we keep him, he's not going to be the same as before. The distractions and mayhem off the field he's caused are too much.

  19. This was quite a surprise. Greil's now the first non-Awakefates character to show up in an "alternate" sense before a regular version.

Also, Soren's outfit actually looks pretty awesome. Oh, and looks like red mage Titania's there, too.

    1 minute ago, Jave said:

Also, Greil having Fury 4 is... fitting... and at the same time very sad.

why did you have to say this

  20. 22 minutes ago, Anacybele said:

I'm not lying though. And sure, lots of players complain to the refs at times. But some do it more often than others, is the thing. Once in awhile and for a good reason is one thing, but when you're going at them about every little thing, it gets to be too much.

Maybe not intentionally, but again, I know people can be biased and think otherwise from what may be considered right from a more objective perspective, especially regarding a hated rival. You definitely have shown a hatred for the Pats plenty of times here (especially with your strikethrough snark shot we're arguing about right now), so that's part of why I'm skeptical, to be blunt with you.

Sorry, but until I see someone show me video proof that Brady wrongfully whines and goes into fits more often than the average player, I can't take your word for it. For all I know, it's just more biased hate against him like Crosby gets just for being the guy often in the news and the championship scene.
