You're going to have to elaborate that last point. While I personally think that Fates and Gaiden/SoV are the worst games in the franchise, they sold well and the franchise has only been growing. The franchise has not become "a complete joke." If anything, its reputation has grown. Three Houses won the Game Awards Players Voice Award, ffs.

My last point was referring to Pokemon, not Fire Emblem. Nintendo has been spamming Pokemon's game for years with barely any changes between games, and recently we all seen to results of this marketing decision with the drama around Sword and Shield. Fire Emblem is nowhere near to become the mess the Pokemon franchise has become.

If Nintendo would spam Fire Emblem games like Pokemon (like XRay suggested), it would results in a major drop in quality.

There is most likely not enough demand to justify the opportunity cost. If there were, Intelligent Systems would be spamming Fire Emblem games like how Nintendo spams Mario. Making games costs money, and they no one is wants to spend who knows how much money to make a game just to lose money because not enough people are buying it. And even if making a Fire Emblem game can guarantee them profit every year, they would probably make more money diversifying their products and make other games.

Nintendo can't spam Fire Emblem games like they can spam Mario or Pokémon games.

Just like any Zelda games, it takes more time because they need do more things for this kind of game: gameplay, variety of level design, making a good story, characters development, voice acting, enemy designs, etc.

Don't get me wrong, it's not that they CAN'T do it, it's just that they know they SHOULDN'T do it. They seen what happened when you try to spam this kind of game, it results in the franchise being a complete joke in the recent years.

I hope they make a lot of money out of us, but there is no way to confirm whether they are making profit or not, and last time I checked, their speculated revenue has been down for the first three years in a row. Since Heroes has been going on for four years now, I think it is safe to assume they are making a profit, but we have no idea how profitable Heroes is and how long they can remain profitable if their revenue keeps decreasing.

As much as I like them to give everyone free Orbs and units, that is probably going to have a negative impact on their revenue. Even if they make a shit ton of profit off of us, I rather they invest that profit back into the main series or at least use it as a financial cushion in case an emergency happens (e.g.: COVID, earthquake, fire) or one of the main series game sells poorly.

I do think they could offer some kind of rewards that could offer heroes, something like "universal tickets" that could be redeem multiple times.

See, I don't agree with this line of thinking. It's okay for certain units to be bad against units with specific skills. Everything should have counters, and they should not be able to counter their own counters. Counters don't make overpowered things balanced, but they do make them beatable and engaging.

I doubt they would not make it a debuff weapon, but I hope the base effect better. Sothe's weapon is just better in every single way.

Anyway, it was cute at the end, and Myrrh was spot on, but Nah seemed out of character. Like, she had too much energy in her voice. Sounded more like Mae than Nah. Nah's more serious and reserved.

I agree, there's also the fact that even if this Nah has an A support like @Naoshi said, Nah would find the idea of a dragon pretending to be a bunny to be pretty dumb. And she wouldn't be hopping around for no reasons unlike Nowi who would do this just for fun.

I'm also disappointed she didn't mention Yarne once, you know, her bunny friend that she has known for years?

No, Ninja Lyn didn't ruin the game. Brave Ike did.

Ninja Lyn can easily be countered. By 3*/4* summons no less. Brave Ike coudn't be countered without the devs literally releasing a seasonal premium unit who said F your damage reduction and F your HP recovery.
Ninja Lyn is still vulnerable to being hit with a strong attack. Brave Ike can sustain himself, and he can massacre as long as a refined Brave Lucina (or unit with Infantry Breath) is nearby.
Ninja Lyn is just a fast Brave unit. One of the best yes, but still just a fast Brave. Brave Ike is what Brave Edelgard wanted to be.

I think the unit is ruining the game right now is basically Brave Hector because of his dumb refine.

I just realized how desensitized I feel towards WR!Severa. She is basically a red super Reinhardt, and if she was released like two years ago, I would have been super ecstatic.

Now that we got stuff like TSOIA!Palla, Reginn, and ITM!Lyn, nukes like Shamir and Erinys feel pretty tame, and others like Catherine and Dieck are just outright bland to me. I guess what I am looking for in a modern nuke is no longer just raw combat power, although that is certainly still important, and what I really want is a nuke with more mobility.

I think the worse part about Severa's weapon is her brave condition.

While I appreciate the reference to her personal skill in Fates, the condition is basically a worse version of the Session skills/Tsubasa and Isuki's weapon.

So unless someone uses a very original and totally unique cavline in defense, you are not going to proc the brave part.

  8. I just realized that Severa's brave weapon condition is a reference to her personal skill as Selena in Fates.

For those that forgot, Selena's personal skill was that if an ally that she is pair-up with (or next to her if unpaired) crits, she will crit as well on her dual strike/next attack. It was very niche since most units don't survive a crit to the face or have barely HP left.

A nice reference, but I would have prefer if the condition was just if a unit acted instead of engaged in combat.

This is what I'd also say, except I don't even have orbs or care enough about Inigo.

I'm seriously never going to be able to build up an orb stock at this rate if that truly is Severa (it's not Serra at least, those pigtails are a bit too long to be hers).

Please be Hilda or even Laevatein #5.

It's not Hilda, her twin tails isn't long enough.

And I don't think we would get another Laevatain alt this quickly.

    Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
