Shinori, are you referring to N0 bullshit in general, or specifically this game? We don't really know what having a partner even means right now. I asked Clipsey, but she didn't tell me whether or not our partner is of the same alignment as us (and I'm inclined to think that's not a guarantee because it'd be too easy).

Because week-long deadlines I think would have a tendency to cause people to slack off because they think they have a longer time.

I'll sign up for this if the day phases are reduced to 4 days at most. 7 day phases do a lot more to stagnate the game than they do to increase discussion. If people are being active, they can and should be able to get their shit together for a lynch in 96 hours at the most. If they're not being active, the thought that there's still so much time left in the phase isn't going to make them more likely to post. Rather the opposite.

Well the only real mechanic difference between NOC and OC is the ability to talk outside of thread (in this game, during the night phases, only OC is allowed) using PMs, IRC, Skype, etc. That has a much larger effect on strategy than anything else really.

Yeah, I realized like 5 seconds after my first post that I'd made it super obvious I was the Cop, which was why I tried covering my tracks and giving more reasons for it retroactively. IIRC my first reaction upon seeing the cop claim was to message Paperblade on IRC saying "gg I'm dying night 1 again". The reason I didn't want to claim was more because I was afraid of getting hooked/kidnapped for the rest of the game than actually dying (since I would have been Doc target at that point). Also, giving mafia a town Hooker fake when they have a scum Hooker isn't that great. It forces them to either discard the fake or not target outed PRs. Additionally, personally, if I'd been the Nexus, I would have been super suspicious of a PGO claim because Nexus + PGO together borders on bastard (not really but it's a terribly lame combination).

The bigger problem was that nobody on the mafia team really gave a shit about the game (sorry but it's true). Shinori, Marth, and Kiryn were all largely afk with some weak reads when they were here, and SB did a little better but was still pretty absent. Baldrick tried, but he didn't sub in for a slot that was looking good, and got unlucky with the inspection. Was the set-up townsided? Kind of, Doc + Martyr + BG is a lot of protection to have when the mafia don't have a Hitman. Did it really matter? I don't think so. I will apologize again to Shinori for what I said near the end of D1. I was trying to get the lynch without having to CC and I got carried away.

Oh yeah, reasons for the Boron townread: She just reads tonally town to me and Shinori's fake clear on her makes me inclined to believe that she's town, since Shinori was sacrificing himself at that point to try to draw out the Cop CC. I don't think he'd tie himself to her that way, but eh. >_> Did Scorri make a mistake or is Baldrick just trying to mess with us? Either way, not sure that quoting parts of your role PM is allowed...

Looking at Baldrick's reads, neither of his two bigger ones (Mancer and Strege) look like bussing attempts to me, so I'm inclined to label both as town. People I'm pretty sure are town: Boron, Elie, Eclipse, Mancer (and me) People I think are town: Marth, Kay, Strege, Grassbridger That leaves SB, Rein, and FTP for possible scum other than Baldrick. Out of the four, if there are two scum left, I'd go with SB and FTP, if only because Rein seems to be putting in actual effort into this game for the most part (and what I mentioned last phase about the timing of his Shinori vote).

Oh yeah, I got messaged by a Courier or something N1, and my gut on their message to me is that they're town. Wording didn't sound like Prims, and I think Prims would have been confident enough to reveal himself in his message to me. So assuming there are no more jankills, I think that whoever claims Courier should be trusted. That's just gut though, so don't treat them like a clear.
