Anyway, I caught a Vulpix I like in Mt. Pyre! So now I need to figure out where to find a Fire Stone for it. But I can be patient with this, it doesn't have another evolved form that I have to worry about unlike Kirlia. :P
Just find a Red Shard when you go diving and turn that in for a stone

The only gym leader I remotely had trouble with was Flannery.
And that's cause at the time my party was Combusken, Metang, Roselia.

I was about to say "No I have those too" and then I realized he meant two actual taps and not just two handles for the water. Like some of my bathrooms have two handles for hot and cold, but some have just one.

Does anyone have a Treeko or a Western Shellos they want to trade? I have a Ditto know so I can get any version exclusives you might want and I can get a Torchic too.

Maybe a little late, but natures basically mean nothing for a casual run of the main game.
If anything the game (as with all Pokemon games) is probably so easy that it might be more preferable to have a bad nature just to maybe add some challenge.
Type coverage is literally all you need, stats mean nothing
As long as your team can basically get super effective hits on everything, the main game is a breeze

Is there something I'm missing to some of the Mirage Spot legendaries? I've been trying to get Uxie for who knows how long and I'm not able to get Entei to pop up either. Also, if I leave a Mirage Spot without even encountering the legendary (say I leave after trying to catch it for some time with the IVs and nature I want on it) does that mean I can no longer catch it?
No the spot stays if your party is eligible to encounter it
Also Uxie was the first one that showed up for me and I caught Mesprit a few hours ago so I think the order they show up is random. I also got Terrakion a while ago too, but I haven't gotten the beasts yet.
I need to find a ditto but if someone has a Treeko egg or something they could give me I'll try and get a Torchic for them

They should just remove Promotion series unless they're for out of a tier like Silver -> Gold. Having to win them to just move up ranks slows down ranked too much I feel.

I mean there aren't all that many choices left. You might be better off just giving Latias surf? I'd say try Ludicolo but you already have Roserade so the grass type isn't something you'd be lacking. Maybe Walrein or Azumarill?
Well I guess I could use like Suicune or something. I might actually use Gastrodon but it'll take me a while to grind one up. I also have a Helix Fossil I got from a Mirage place too.
Does anyone know where I can find the Scanner in Sea Mauville? I couldn't find it before and now I can get Lugia so I want to try and get that out of the way. I know it's in the flooded basement but IDK where since I can't use the Itemfinder.

Ya, he voluntarily bought FE10 as his first FE with saved up holiday cash (but the disk got scratched and we can't get to Part4 because Tier3 promotions freeze the Wii), and has roflstomped FE8, FE11 and FE13 many times. He's not yet finished a playtrhough of FE7, and hasn't played any J-exclusives though.

You can fish a Staryu with the Super rod off Lilycove. It's kinda rare but comes at 40, learns Psychic at 42, and you can grab a water stone once you find a blue shard diving.
I already have Metagross and Latias, which is why I don't really want another Psychic type

Traded Pokémon isn't that big of a deal even with EXP Share... at least it wasn't for me once I got Roxanne's badge.
This with me. I got close to bumping the disobey level around Brawly but after that I didn't get close to it any more
I caught Kyogre and can Soar now and it's already my favorite aspect of a Pokemon game. And I got a Uxie and Happiny. Where do I get the National Dex upgrade? I know I should have it or get it soon, but I'm being lazy and not fighting Wallace yet.
Also after my Sharpedo disappointment, I've switched to a Lanturn, which has worked out OK. God Hoenn water types do not live up to my expectations. I'm wondering if I should switch it for Crawdaunt or Kyogre but I kind of want a dual type for better coverage and Lantern was doing okay but it pails compared to the rest of my team.
My team right now is Latias, Roserade, Blaziken, Metagross, and a Snorunt who will end up as Froslass, so I kind of need a Water type and I don't really like Gyrados or Tentacruel so I don't really know what else I have for options. I did catch a Feebas earlier but I don't feel like making blocks forever for Milotic and it's a monotype, I don't really want Golduck either.
Whiscash is an option but idk
any ideas? I have soaring locations available now, so I suppose I can just wait a few days until I find something at one of them, and I should get the Nat Dex soon so things will appear on previous routes too,

No thank you. I'd rather catch one myself. Besides, I'm not far in the game, eventually it wouldn't obey me anymore given how that exp. share works.
If someone trades you a Ralts egg, you can hatch it and it will obey you without the need for badges. You'd probably only need 2 since it's 50-50 gender split.

EXP Share is why
They intentionally made levels higher in XY because of it, but forgot in ORAS so you end up like 10 levels above everything.
It removes a lot of difficulty but is a godsend to stop grinding.
