Dear FF8. Card is broken. That is all.

I found Deathguise really easy. Like easier than his FF6 counterparts and I was breaking Holy Rods to kill him before he ran away. Ok, Holy Rods are kinda cheap when you can buy them in Thamasa but the point here is that Deathguise was kinda easy. Eiko hit him with a couple of Holys, Zidane and Steiner did damage like a boss and Amarant spammed Chakra.

Best: Does Othin count? His base class is Axe Fighter so... Yeah, Othin. Worst: Eh... this one's tough. Bartre and Wade are both worth something in their earlygames when you don't have the cream of the crop to choose from. So I'm going to go with Ross.

Ok but for Necron, put Eiko back in. I just beat FF9 for the first time (like 10 minutes ago) and Necron pissed the hell out of me with Grand Cross.

I would go with Eiko instead of Garnet. Holy does massive amounts of damage in Memoria if you get a spare turn. And Dbl White seems a lot more useful than Eidolon.

I'm not using a spreadsheet to keep track of this game.

I call bullshit on completing Portal in 30 minutes. It's not possible (Test Chamber 18 comes to mind) since the second half of the game is all about precise aiming.

No Mercy is great but I usually find Amarant being on Chakra duty during Disk 4 since Eiko's busy spamming Holy while Dagger uses her Eidolons.

Can't help you there because I haven't played in a recruitment game before. And I personally think that the recruitment should fail.

I find it entertaining that I'm eating Honey Nut Cheerios as I type. And enjoying them.

Once again, I'd like to propose the Van lynch. I have now found out that WoMC actually started on Daath (one of the factions) which makes him knowing some roles even MORE dangerous. If you are on Malkuth or Kimlasca, vote for Van. If you are on no faction, vote for Van. Hell, vote for Van anyway.

Clearly not. There are 3 factions, as the first post in the N0 topic says. And 3 leaders. And JB decided that it was a good idea to link character to account (dumbass idea but whatever). Which means that we could potentially lynch a faction leader on the first day... if you (yes you, WoMC) weren't a better target. 5 bucks says that the last faction leader is someone retarded like Groner or Lightning.

If I am not allowed to deny Sain early promotion for the purposes of showing that Kent > Lowen, then you're telling me that there is only one way to play this game. All stat boosters and all promo items go to a certain person/bank based on averages. Which means that we might as well split the list into three catagories: Always use, sometimes use and never use. Because if there's only one way that I'm allowed to distribute resources (which includes unit spots since the resource is combat Exp), people like Wil and Canas will never see action outside of their joining chapter since there is always someone better. Which means that both are in the "never use" catagory.

All you had to do was the math. If town = mafia + 2 on a day phase, game over with a mislynch. Pretending to agonize over your decision didn't get you anywhere. I'm looking specifically at your lynch post. There was no point to post all of that. Just "lynch Strawman" would have been sufficient to end the game. I don't understand why you had to post a full explanation of your vote.

I think my brain just exploded. *checks wall behind and sees brain matter everywhere* Yep, it just did. I need to read over this game to see if he actually did play a "great game as mafia". EDIT: I have a question. Slayer, the second that you got King with LYLO, why didn't you just post a vote ASAP to end the game? There was no point in dragging it out and pretending to look innocent if you were going to win anyway.

That's two. So apparently Ether and Raymond are actually trying to, you know, win. Waiting for the third person to claim (publicly, I guess).

It's still much better than Lowen at the very least who does not have a prayer of killing. If we give Kent the LHM Knight Crest, then his immediate contribution to the team upon rejoining (8 move and a second Marcus) will be miles and away better than Lowen for the rest of the game from that point on. Even with Lowen's availability lead, how can he outdo Kent? My whole point here is that we're only crediting Sain for his ability to promote in LHM. Kent can do so too and produce similar results. And by doing so, he's better (not by much but still better) than a couple people above him.

The last is different because Kent is almost as good as Sain in the same situation unlike Kyza or Lyn. Sain has a 4 Str lead over Kent at 12/1 but Kent has almost a 2 AS lead (11.95 Spd is basically 12). If Sain is borderline doubling the faster stuff, Kent isn't. And then, it's Kent's 2 shots which are -8 damage against Sain's 1. So as long as Kent is doing 9+ damage, he's outdoes Sain on the faster enemies (stuff with 7 AS). Is there every a point where Kyza or Lyn are just as good as Titania or Marcus? Probably not (lategame nuking with the Mani Katti doesn't really count). Is there a point where Kent is as good as Sain? When given the same resource, yes.
