  1. Nyeh? I thought he was asking how he could upload it onto the internet? Or was he asking for spriting ideas? *confused* OP is very vague >_<
  2. http://tinypic.com/ Should do for now, if you want to setup an account, there's plenty of image hosts out there. (Photobucket, Majhost etc) It might be too late now, but make sure to save the sprite in PNG not JPG or GIF :/ Seph is meaner the me? wat?
  3. Fun to read? *Think Whistler is trying to emphasize his point Since I think most people "hated" my involvement there, and even I'm willing to admit it was a bit repetitive and bland. But more importantly.... Don't tell me to work! >_< I hate assignments, it's like work without pay. And it's unproductive, since no one cares what one undergraduate student writes anyway. "Mark and trash" is what my lecturer calls it. And Shhh, he doesn't need to know that. :P
  4. *Takes a step away from Lumi and Reaper* Fangirls.... I'm glad I'm not one of them. Scary, very scary. *Hides from the mature ladies* EDIT: Upon request <_< And fanboys are just sick, the things they do to those poor 2D girls in their minds.... Yes I'm looking at you Mia fanboy.....there, happy?
  5. Hey, don't put me into the productive niche with Phoenix :/ Why would I want to be productive? Productive would be actually working on my assignment that I've been postponing this past week. I think Phoenix has made it clear that I was in this for my own amusement, and since things were chaotic, I had the choice to "labor to make things better" or getting a "Quick laugh, and explosive high" on stirring the pot full of shit. (Yes I've been called Shit-stirrer before, and wear the badge with pride) :P
  6. Hmm? Really? I can't see how it'd take very long to do a translate though, assuming the group has a few translators on the job. That said, alot of translations are god awful.

  7. :p Don't worry, there's plenty of Kanji I don't know either, and reading kanji names is Nyargh.... a nightmare. Glad you got it right though.

  8. I think you're an Astra type and custom better then you splice after seeing Seth. (Our) Left side shoulder pad looks awkward (jutting out). And the shoulder pads in general seem to be forced on, rather then flowing nicely. With the left pad, it's shading. (Though the right could used shading too) the overall reason I get this impression is because of the border outlining used on the insides. (Belts/bottom of armor) and think it looks better when you used the "darkest skin shade" instead. (The shade used usually to define chins) As for the Halloween entry thing..... Amazing :) Much happier with the hair. Half bodies were bad enough thanks *Looks at Reaper* :P
  9. A few questions and corrections @Purg Have you actually got something planned for those letters/papers? And planned something out regarding Schmidt? Since I might just screw things up a bit. @CATS Favorite Relationship in this RP so far is Shizuani/Ivan. :P It's nice seeing a hostile relation that's negative go beyond. "X rolled his eyes and ignored Y" @Sage Holy one.... isn't the right term. I might have said this before (I might not have). But the main religions in the world are Celism and Nature worship. Your concept of Buddhism in Izuna was something I welcomed, as I envisioned "Buddha" in this case to be a really strong warrior of sorts. Considering Izuna's skill-improving obsession, I thought it fit in nicely. But "holy" "divine" etc are words I want to keep connected to Celism. Furthermore, Buddhism is originally Indian, and was warped in China before crossing to Japan, so while it's up to you, there's no need to be so devoted to "Buddha" in terms of honor and such. I don't really mind Shizunai being "honor bound" and all, but if you feel like Shizunai is becoming hard to control, then you can act a bit more freely, Izunai (and Japan) aren't "honor" this "honor that." Though it is a typical portrayal of a samurai, alot were abusive tyrants, many succumbing to banditry. And while I doubt you want Shizunai to be as such, just telling you that you don't have to feel confined to being honor boy :P @rn7/Cocytus Time is fixed now, go crazy :P
  10. Fort Talgusta lay in ruins, parts of the wall still stood definatly here and there, but for the most part the entire thing had burned to the ground. The only thing which remained were several men in dull red armor who looked more weary then alert. They'd marched across from Ariost, taking only a few breaks in between and had to massacre the citizens of Elrest last night, those who had remained at least anyway. Crispy bodies lay scattered throughout the fort, but the group had set up camp in a corner which had remained relatively untouched by the flames. Two dozen men had been left at the fort, as the remainder marched on to Fort Gorbac and Hesval, and all were quite drained, mentally and physically. Two soldiers, had returned with a girl who was most likely an escapee from Elrest, but despite their orders, they'd had enough bloodshed for the day and technically their orders were to clean out Elrest and it's inhabitants, not to chase after everyone who escaped. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "5 more minutes" Kieru groaned as she felt someone tug on her shoulder. She was tired, sleepy and far from being in a good mood. She'd had a horrible dream and sleeping the night away apparently wasn't enough for her. She felt a hand enter her pocket she smacked it away, not noticing that the contents had been relieved. "5 more minutes Sister Mary, please" she whined keeping her eyes closed. She could hear men mumbling in the distance, probably Father John lecturing her again. Putting her hands over her ears, she tried to get back to sleep, no longer hindered by the long droning voice of the pastor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The soldiers looked down at the girl, before shrugging their shoulders, they'd tied up her hands and feet and she didn't seem like the type to overpower them anyway even if she did try to make an escape. More importantly she seemed like a member of the church and was probably just a follower who had been held captive or wasn't able to flee to Granford. Either that or she was just some runt who'd been separated from her mother somewhere and was wondering around lost. "Shouldn't we nail her captain?" one of the men with a husky voice asked, they'd received orders to exterminate the entire fort, and clean out the nearby city of Elrest. Elrest had been taken over with relative ease last night. Most of the inhabitants had fled when the explosion had occurred, and those that had remained weren't much of a challenge as they were slaughtered. A small thin man grimaced as he recalled what he did last night to the inhabitants of Elrest "Captain, was it really neccessary to..." The captain frowned, as did several others who were standing nearby. "An order's an order soldier" he replied briskly, subconsciously rubbing his shirt which was stained with the blood of a girl around the prisoners age. Feeling uneasy, he looked at the papers quickly, not really finding that immediately stood out. The captain frowned again as he tried to make out the neat hand writing, he was much better with a sword then with a pen and the black scribbles were annoying him. Tossing the papers to the side, he glared at a bulky envelope which had some tacky insignia on it. "Not one I recognize" he grumbled as he showed the the symbol to the other soldiers who shook their heads as well. Looking down at the envelope again, the captain shook his head, "The high ups can read this junk, or toss it in the fire, I honestly don't care, where'd the carrier pigeon?" he barked. Clearly not in the mood to read the papers which resided inside. He'd contemplated tossing it aside himself but had concluded that it might be important information which could be used against the enemy and decided against it. The faster they won this war, the less cities he'd have to clean up. Handing the envelope to a man who'd arrived with a caged pigeon, who quickly tied the envelope to the birds leg, before the bird flew off in the direction of Ariost. As the Captain watched the bird disappear from view he sat down with a sigh. It was only two moons ago that he'd sat with friends in the local tavern drinking the nights away, and now he was here in some foreign land, surrounded by crispy black bodies with the blood of innocents on his blade. He looked around at his men, who likewise seemed to be low on morale, they'd had no sleep last night yet none had dozed off, too afraid of the nightmares which would await them. The captain raised an eyebrow, there were a few missing. He'd ordered two pairs of two to patrol the area, yet there was half a dozen missing. Meaning one of the pairs he'd sent out hadn't returned yet. Despite being groggy, he decided to investigate where his goons had gone off to.
  11. Well since some might be waiting for me to push forward I guess I'm going to post the next part, if Fush want's to write up what Andra did after waking up, I'm sure he can do so without warping time too much, if he returns today. So unless there's any objections I'm having Kieru arrive at the fort, since Beatrice isn't in the fort like I'd originally assumed.
  12. @Posts If being here for myself wasn't an issue, why keep bringing it up? :/ Yes you keep preaching "we" and yes, no one seems to understand. That's because you're "sugar-coating" and actions don't work together and often contradict. People might like hearing your "Let's work together" rubbish at first, but the same peice of propaganda doesn't work, not as often as you preach it at least anyway. Most useless? Hmmm, well I suppose so, if you were all so stupid to blind yourselves with hate then I guess I wasn't helping the situation at all. I just figured idiots like yourself, who can't figure out things themselves needed to have the complication stuck right in front of their face before they'd acknowledge the issue. Though as you say, apparently you kiddies purposely turned your head away and ignored the problem, and opted to take your childish approach. Though to be honest, that isn't much of an issue, since "warnings" were..... pretty much your "forewarnings." Something I was going to do if something else happened. With the exception of the inn, most fires were caused when things no longer made sense anyway. So If you were running around trying to fix things then, objective completed? @Psych Slowed down? If you were slowing down intentionally it might mean something, but it's slowing down because people are losing interest, or busy opting to put other things before the RP. It might be work, it might be a new game. Overall it's a drop in interest. So with Psych, I just need to interpret him as a more outgoing, pretty word spewing version of you? @Sense Ignoring the obvious? I thought that's what you did because you didn't like someone? I suppose this argument is rather pointless since your hatred for me will cancel out any facts I provide anyway, but kind Kanami is willing to reply anyway, isn't she nice? XD I can't name anything productive they've done because there hasn't been very much productive material overall in this RP. Though you keep making comments and acting as if the only way to interact is positively. While I can't say what they've produced, it's added to the plausibility of a group of people who are traveling together. For some magic reason, everyone wants to get in the group, only so that they can keep to themselves. Two characters displaying dislike for eachother is realistic as disagreements are bound to occur from a group which are pretty much forced together. Though, what has "dumb as rocks" achieved that productive or realistic? Indifferent? Do you think that I'm indifferent to anything? I was under the impression I was constantly being the big bad insulting hag that you keep mentioning. It's sad that your unwilling to listen to someone, you've acknowledged above that there was some level of sense to my "complaining." Yet you turned a blind eye anyway. Work together? Really? Cooperation? What? The reason you're a "work for" type fool preaching pretty lies is because you expect people to work with you, after you've preached your little sermon, when working together originates from the initiator making steps towards the others. "I've given a pretty speech, so everyone work with me" is naive even by your standards isn't it? Work with this, work with that. Is that all you can think about? A good idea doesn't need to be "collaborated." You could have just supported the idea? In my case (who I assume you're referring to) there wasn't even a need to "work with" since it was just objecting to the situation. Should have been easy to look at the situation and acknowledge things weren't right, and your posts just needed to reflect that. Instead you ignored it with your petty hate, and tried to rush things forward. If you're going to ignore key points just because you hate the person. It shows that you are indeed stubborn, but also a fool. Your entire argument with people working with me is invalid, since that's not what I wanted, nor is it what occurred. There's a difference between "support my idea" and "Review the rubbish you've got now" Of particular amusement was the "horrible experiences." I doubt a Psych of Kanami happens unless horrible experiences are persisting beforehand. I know I wouldn't have been as hostile if a few of you were a bit more.... intelligent? You've listed Kai, Lightning and Psych as problems, but are you any different? Are people smart enough to Rp with my wisdom? I don't know, what is my "wisdom?" I just expect common sense from others, something which was either lacking or non-existent in LoAF. @Immaturity I've seen plenty of cases where people who dislike each other have worked together, recreationally and financially. I know a lot of people in LoAF who secretly(?) hate each other. Yet you're all still there, trying to work on LoAF aren't you? With your logic it's "human nature" to flee from everything that you don't like. In that case I have to assume you enjoy me degrading, since you put up with it in PMs and you're reading it now. Aren't you quite the masochist hmm? And here we go again with the pretty lies. "care?" In what circumstance did you show that action? By preaching people work together? Wait, with your logic, do people hate you too? You've been preaching teamwork for ages yet there's been hardly any of that occurring. Haha you're hated as well. ...... Flawed logic is hard to work with, but easy to use with a coating of sarcasm :/ Speaking of flawed logic, you don't see the irony is the fool who preaches "working together" taking the exact opposite stance? :/ Poor you, must have been dropped on your head. @Work together Nice try, but if my "interpretations" are wrong, either write your ideas up more clearly, and when that isn't possible. How about actually clarifying what you said? Since "that's not what I said" isn't much different to my "bitching" in this case right? Offering a solution is what you suggested was neccessary, how about offering a solution to the mistake now then? @Conclusion It's cutting and blunt since being subtle tends to not get through to thick skulls like yours. When I do be cutting and blunt and reach the skull, attitude kicks in and nulls it apparently. There's a saying that an idiot can't be cured, even after you kill him. Guess that's partially fits in here. (Moreso the first part). Virtually nothing? You've spent a lot more time in LoAF then I have, what is it that you have accomplished? Furthermore I thought this was a recreational activity, and the goal was to have fun, not leave specific accomplishments behind? Hmmm, you seem to continue ranting that people "hate me." Would be nice if you could list up a few names up, since I'm not exactly attuned to recognize hate when I receive it. Can't really argue "people hated you" unless you can provide examples right? Come on chickenfeet, examples please. Alternatively people can step up if they're willing? As for improving? I don't see why you think I was trying to improve things. You've stated more then once that I was in this for my own personal gain/laughs. So why would I be interested in improving things? Reading the plot even after I left, it doesn't seem there's improvement. So it's not very nice of kind hearted Phoenix to demand examples of things that improved with me, when you're not much different, and have doubt of whether it'd "even be worth improving." As for why? Why what? Why I was in this? Read above, read your comments, the fact I was only in this for myself is not inaccurate so you can keep that as one of the few things you have correct.
  13. Maybe you should? Not something I'm willing to make a decision on. But personally I think you're ready to attempt it. That said, the face doesn't stand out due to personal preference, and it resembles an existing FE character too much for my liking. Everything except the bottom right hair is preference I think (as I said). That corner is a ghastly splice if it's a splice :P (EDIT: There's even a second hair shade stray pixel outside the borderlining there XD) In slight relation I think Astra customs better then he splices. And I know a few great spriters who customed first, then tried splicing so one doesn't always come before the other.
  14. @Posts Nyeh, only thing that was comment worthy here is, "When did we agree to break up into cliches?" Or are you referring to the supposedly subconscious "I only interact with my support partner" pattern? Another thing that I just noticed now is, how does an individual get interested if you're babying the plot and not showing it to them? Can't be interested in something which doesn't exist (in their minds). As for sabotage, I'll probably go into more depth later in the post, but I didn't enjoy sabotaging posts. As false as that may sound. I enjoyed sabotaging plots which made very little sense. I said it back then, I'm willing to take a look at your plans and then telling you what's wrong with it. Or "Cuddle-proof" I think the term was. However you insisted that it wasn't necessary or that I would rip it apart anyway. And yes I would rip it apart if it was as stupid as half the ideas that had come up at that stage. @Psych Dice rolling? Really? This is why stats are so lovely, I honestly wonder who hasn't fudged a dice roll in this RP, I can think of a few, but that's still less then half :/ Not really able to tell you if Psych's recovering, I've generally found the Psych hate to be more then slightly exaggerated. Sure the ideas were bad, but there's been worse implementations in the past. @Sense Nothing to say here really, seems like your conceding most points, or accepting blame anyway. Though whether you mean it.... is another matter completely I however do not agree with your concept of a "Better RP." People who don't get along doesn't equate to people who try to screw eachother over. I don't really like Snowy at all, and if I could decide whether he goes to heaven or hell, I'd choose the latter. But I'd still be willing to listen to his ideas.... Hmm guess this, and "listen to me" deserve their own section so here we go. :/ @Differentiating There is a difference between a "bad idea" and a "bad person." Out of the Rp'ers here, I hold Cynthia in higher regard then everyone else I think, but there have been point where I disagree with her. And back in the Kai hating days, there were a few ideas that I thought could be developed into something interesting. I think we've had this discussion already, but it's the ideas that matter not the person presenting them. Hmmm wasn't as long as I'd thought, ah well here goes the summary bulk post. @Immaturity If you think that two people who don't like eachother can't work together, you're just as immature as the "14 year olds" you were telling me about. I've got plenty of people at work I don't like, and being the manager I could probably cut them too, one of them's a racist little shit that still calss Miss Ching Chong China woman. But despite his attitude towards me, he works hard and I've got no intention of complaining against him. Though I constantly have arguments with him after work Likewise with your "Rp" I did offer help (or degradation as you interpret it) despite not liking you. And ultimately I did withdraw myself, but that doesn't change the fact I spent a good few hours replying to your PMs. I actually thought the ideas were going somewhere, but apparently the "degradation" wasn't to your liking. Though I will give you maturity for acting the way you did. Saying "Safe to say the rp is more solid than it would have been beforehand" to me, and then saying the opposite to others. You get full marks in being an adult there. Not something I condone... actually something I'm quite disgusted by but in regards to this, I'm opting to remain immature and childlike intentionally thanks. As for your tactics in getting people to listen? Quite frankly I don't mind being ignored, nor do I mind "exploding" in peoples faces as a result. It doesn't really phase me all that much that I was ignored back then, nor was I surprised. I'm not playing by any means, unlike yourself who seems to think you're letting people "walk all over your characters." I wasn't a victim, I was an perpetrator who did what she wanted, because she could. That however, does not change the fact that Selizara and the entire Elysimma arc was a complete failure in terms of plots and planning. Bitching? I suppose I am, but I'm not bitching that you didn't listen to me. I bitching at you and laughing, saying I told you so. As I've said, it's not important whether people like or hate me, I'm not here to make friends. Though it does show that a good portion of you were stupid little kids who put your petty hatred before your brain, and acted.... stupidly. It doesn't mean anything to me. That's not to say you're all idiots though, some of you did initially support alternative routes, and some apparently still had faith in Snowy to make things work out. I'm just saying that if you read the post and then ignored it because you disliked me, you've still got a bit of growing up to do :/ Usually not a point I'd mention but it seemed ironic coming from the fool who preaches collaboration, cooperation, not sabotaging and communal harmony. Number one indeed. @Work together Yes, of course, you're not too good at sugar coating are you? Need to cut the contradicting statements that come after if you want to make sense. Or putting it into practice for that matter. You're action and comments are "work for" not "work together." A common goal? What if someone doesn't like your goal? You give them the boot right? XD Your definition seems nice and all but your comments so far have been "If you don't like it, piss off. Don't touch it, don't go against it, just remove yourself from the equation" If that's working together, then I suppose I indeed don't know what teamwork means. Though I suppose Soviet Russia was teamwork, do maybe you're right. Killing off and removing opposition might be teamwork. To tie things in, you say pretty things. Just not practical things, and those that are practical are "living and learning" to such a minor degree that it's not even visible.
  15. To be completely honest, I really can't say the face and hair are that great. The face in particular doesn't stand out to me at all, but maybe that's just my personal preference. The accessories and body however look great. Especially impressed with the katana. Being a flamer, I'd say the place I dislike the most (think looks wrong) is the hair on the far right. (Beside the shoulders, beneath the Katana) That region looks ugly regardless of preference IMO.
  16. 私の事は宮野様とお呼びなさい、 オーッホッホッホ♪

I mean thanks... I think, birthdays aren't important to me anyway :P

  17. Awww, poor you :P I'm Japanese so the language barrier has never existed in terms of Japanese games. I'm not aware of any translated versions either, but I've heard positive things about AGTH. A translation tool or something which is supposedly pretty accurate. (Never tried it though)

  18. Nyeh, Birthdays aren't all that special to me anyway. On the contrary, I see birthdays as one step closer to arthritis, wrinkles and my future career which is sitting in a rocking chair out the front while throwing rocks at people who pass by.

  19. Blunt? Nyeh Maybe? :/ I don't have any intentions of changing though:P Though.... that said It feels wrong being called 雪 by you xD Probably cause I've seen you melting over the other 雪.

  20. Nyeh? Someone who knows what my avatar/sig is :/ Not something I come across very often. I've purchased all key games and loved every one of them (even Planetarium). Angel Beats was okay, but anime format isn't the best way to go IMO. Either way Little Busters is one of the few things I'm an avid fan of.

  21. Listen up? *listens to music playing on her computer* Nyeh? Unfortunately, I'm also living proof that reads posts whether she likes them or not. If I skipped over every post I didn't like, I honestly wouldn't have read half the posts I had back then. Anyway, your.... points? A) So no complaints = okay? It still doesn't change the fact that by encouraging skipping some posts, your in effect encouraging people skip other people's post too. B)You feel guilty for making large posts? Do you feel guilty for existing to? C)We've argued pacing before :/ Or rather the SQ'ers have more then adequately commented on people here needlessly trying to rush through everything, it's probably slowed down now. But if you're going to talk about back then, as one of the people who wanted to "get in as many interactions with people while they're online" (Feedback P2) I don't think you're in a position to complain about how things moved rapidly to the point where things became impossible to manage. D) Excluding people again? Poor featherbrain :/ How you can preach making things flow smoother and then encourage people to skip posts looks contradictory from any angle. @Forewarning Am I really going to have to sink to the level of arguing why someone should/shouldn't care about something? I really hope you're just stating that, and not actually using it as part of your argument.... since if it's the latter..... I really pity you. Rotten attitude though, I must say. You don't agree with someone so you're going to throw a tantrum? There there, it's okay baby Phoenix. "work with" usually means that both sides are willing to sacrifice things. As a fellower LoAF participant it's more your role to convince him to work with the group then it is mine. I don't know how many of you have directly told Psych or tried to work things out with him. I've certainly read more bitching through PM's then I have attempts to work things out with him. @Sense Viveka and Conrad as a whole were poorly situated characters. Lightning who I was the bottom RP'er from my perspective (Yes, worse then Kai) at the time, figured, "Hey, we're wanted criminals now, I'm going to make a General to bail us out" which is just poor planning. (Inn fire incident) And for some wacky reason you figured that you'd make Viveka after we'd burned down an inn and fought off Percy/soldiers. Now since you know your "fucking intentions" what were you thinking? Hmmm? Hostile nation+ loyal character= Join the group? I recall you complaining that characters were popping out of nowhere but what is this? It's planning that works it's way into the negative. Furthermore if my "reading" is innacurate how about providing the correct intention instead of cussing constantly? Frankly it doesn't make you look any smarter or cooler. So for your own sake, I suggest dropping the saying "fuck" so many times without proper reason. @Examples So you're resorting to pinning the blame on Lightning? Well now that I think about it, Lightning was the idiot who created the cobalt caves. However you yourself did not give an indication that escape was possible, at the very least you could have done the "collaboration" you cherish so dearly and talked with Lightning, however it was clear capture was the way thing were headed the moment the group arrived. (Recall the super statted cavalry/Paladins Lightning made stats for) And as you've kindly pointed out prior, none of you have the intentions of imprisoning your own characters. So the moment Chase went out and got himself captured the entire thing was set anyway. Regardless, you alone are not the cause of Selizara, Selizara itself was a fort Ether made, the situation while initially caused by me screwing Isotov over in the inn was fueled further by Snowy bringing Percy in. Lightning decided he'd send soldier over to Istample meaning more fighting, and even Cynthia added Celest to make things so much more peaceful. This is the nature of an RP. Magically throwing in a few characters will not immediately defuse such a situation. And you have to learn to deal with it. @Sense2 Last time? Hmm nope, but the Ether/guard situation mentioned in the past few posts are an example. Bitch at you? It's not anyones fault other then Ethers that he decided Damian would be an uncontrollable Mary Sue. And you've indicated not liking constant "conflict" so by "forcing" yourself to defuse that situation, you're sacrificing plausibility for your own goals. I'd suggest not playing the victim, since it's unlikely people will emphasize with your groaning. You're as much an offender as a victim, as is pretty much everyone else. As for people walking all over your characters? There's plenty of "Plausible" ways to write yourself out of that. And frankly, I don't see anyone walking over your characters anyway. In regards to plausibility, using it as a template is fine, however to what extent? The template becomes obsolete if anyone can ignore the template at any time. Using my favorite Illyphina example. Why were we heading there? For Katie? Honestly? Half the group didn't even care about the crimson weapons and just wanted a place to "hang out." Most citing safety in numbers. But I find it hard to believe that every character was too stupid to figure Capitol=lots of enemies=capture(or death). You're all stupid mercenaries, right. But even Chase knew to stay away from Illyphina. I'm going to abstain from commenting on the SQ comment for now, if no one from SQ comments I'll provide my opinion, but I feel they're better qualified then myself to answer those.... question? @Your Repetitive Point People are in this to do what they want. That's simple, clear and obvious. You are no exception. You can preach "overall good" all you want, but you only want to improve the experience of others to improve your own. It's not all about "others" but "me." You can euphemise and say "we" but it's clear you lead the group in terms of importance there. Selizara? I don't know why you're still mentioning it, but I disagree with "over fucking it." If I had gone too far, the group would have ran for the hills as soon as the mage trio struck. Instead we all continued on our merry way to the capitol. I'm certain I made myself very clear back then that Ilyphina was a bad idea. Before commenting on Selizara and your plans and whatnot, how about a valid reason to why we were heading there in the first place? I don't want to hear "people rushing" as your excuse since I made it very clear via Kamilla's whining that Illyphina was a bad idea. Or were people skipping those? You yourself pushed for Illyphina so how about providing a reason as to why you didn't have "patience" then? I can cite a reason, idiocy? I have no real goals, and there is no need for a collaboration to consist of several goals. If anything not having goals should have made things easier since I wouldn't be trying to work things in my own angle. I really don't think it's smart for someone like you to cite "to make the rp better" when you yourself weren't helping the situation. At the very least, had we exited Elysimma as suggested after the inn fire, Percy might not have happened. Celest wouldn't have happened and Selizara would be non-existent. Crushing crappy plots doesn't make the RP better? Oh right, and ignoring Psych is so much different. I'm starting to think...no, you are the biggest hypocrite in this RP :/ "Let's work together" is something you're clearly not willing to do. As for the final paragraph, stop crying damsel, it's clearly because you made little sense, and are infact constantly trying to get off the hook unless you've planned it yourself, and when that happens you complain that you're not getting your way because people are "walking over your characters"
  22. @Negative Solution Solution? Where? Encouraging people skip your posts is your solution to what? Your long boring posts? If they're not worth reading, why bother writing it up in the first place? Writing practice? If your writing solely out of boredom, and not to actually RP... again, go write a book? I fail to see what it solves, but can see how it encourages post skipping. :/ @Psych/forewarnings Personally speaking I find your approach to be the worst possible selection. Obviously you don't have to like certain people (or characters in the RP) and ignoring them is fine. However the approach of ignoring everything you don't like just because you don't like it is both immature and stupid. Which.... I suppose describes you pretty well actually. I've noticed you've got a very short "mental limitation" in regards to working with things you don't like. Though why there's a physical limitation involved in this is not something I understand :/ As for things I don't like, I also specified several times, (nearly everytime) I stated that, that "didn't like" was synonymous to "doesn't make sense." Selizara was a prime example of this, where absolutely nothing made sense. An abandoned fort lying right next to the capitol? Since I didn't ever reveal who the "shady group" were, (I'll just use bandits) with the word in the state that Snowy mentioned I find it near impossible to find a fort next to a capitol city which is abandoned, especially in Elysimma which was supposedly full of the drunk, gambling idiots of Vegas. Crime rates would have been high enough to at least place some enemy in Selizara, hence the reason I kept demanding something better happen there, but instead it was just a convenient place to get surrounded. You're sending a convicted criminal with a past record to negotiate terms? Honestly? "Oh you used to be my friend so you're all immune to the law and pardoned from the crimes you DID commit?" If Viveka was the corrupt money grabbing type I could understand her letting the group get away, but that clearly was never anyones intentions. Overall any plans laid in regards to Selizara were hopelessly flawed. So it's probably not a good idea to mention them on your side of the argument. As for your examples..... you're joking right? That's what you think "flexible" means? First of all "flexibility" doesn't apply in the current topic when you yourself are the initiator of the action and change. That's simply a miracle occurring, you (possibly) seeing logic and the implausibility over what you had originally planned. In examples like "Ambush" you're not even following your own preaching by making them head out "TWICE" was it necessary? Was it IC? Or was it you just deciding you don't care about OoC for that brief moment. I highly doubt everyone was jumping at you and begging you to ambush the group. Inn fire, isn't flexibility either. Since it was either retcon the last 2~3 pages and start again, to a godmod that seemed entirely inappropriate. Or go with what actually made sense, in favor of plausibility over what you as the individual wanted. I acknowledge you don't get your way, and that's because that's the nature of an RP. But it wasn't once, how many times have we had these long winded arguments? And how many times have I had to bring up plausibility? That alone should speak for itself. As for "getting her way" I doubt that refers to Kiryn or Cynthia, but I'm having a hard time trying to apply it to myself as well. Simply because I don't usually have "a way." Due to most of my actions being disapproval of actions not poorly mapped out "plans" which I want to execute. And even if I do map out a plan I'm more then willing to change it since (as I've always said) I believe the core of an RP is interactions. Using the inn fire, I would have been perfectly happy to skip the inn fire had Isotov not used fire in a wooden inn. Istample is another example where you decided to randomly drop in on Kamilla poisoning the food. Though I didn't really care because my aim was to get one of the godmoding fools to jump in and intercept the action. I don't recall ever thanking you, so; Thank you for being my fool :/ In addition to that, don't give me the he was being IC rubbish. (Though I can see how it could be IC since Isotov at that time was 95% food, 5%angst) hell it's IC for the gaebolg and Damian to be able to take out a whole platoon of soldiers, doesn't change anything. Hell if you want to use IC, it's IC for me to set fire to everything and burn it to the ground. @Sense What doesn't make sense is you citing plausibility on one hand then saying you're willing to sacrifice it for your personal goals the next. Flexible does not mean you never bend. It means you're not willing to bend and the arguments that have occurred are more then enough indication in support of that. I'd probably quit one of my jobs if I got a dollar everytime you said "It's IC" :/ I also don't see any reason to portray you as the victim, since I can't think of anyone in an RP who can say that they're directing the plot in the direction they want. If you're looking for a more smooth flowing story-like RP then go to SQ. Going back to flexibility though, You're referring to flexibility in terms of listening and implementing the ideas of others to flimsy plans. While I'm referring to your tendency to structure a plan concrete it, and bitch when you can't get your way. To end, I completely agree with you Cap'ed statement, -You are indeed willing to work with people -You are not willing to work with people who disagree with you. -You are not willing to argue your point, but instead opt to ignore opinions you don't like. Very clear to me. :/ Though I don't see why you're trying to emphasize my point.
  23. @Negative Effect Cynthia found this post insulting, but I actually thought it was a valid post. I don't know what "respect" even means, but if your encourage people to skip your posts since they're "boring." Chances are, they'll start skipping the posts of others too. Furthermore, your oh-so-beloved smooth flow is impossible to attain or even take a step towards if people aren't going to read eachothers posts. Unrelated subplots = Unimportant subplots. A good example here is Tora :/ @Psych sucks I won't argue against that, but I used to think of SQ'ers as elitists, what with their big chunky posts and higher quality posts who wouldn't? XD But I realize now that it applies more to LoAF then any other RP I've seen in the past. It's not until I stepped out of LoAF and looked back at posts that I realized the RP has a strong "Outsiders piss off" approach. (Most clearly seen with new players). This "ignore" behavior is very.... humorous? Considering the "Lets work together" rubbish you were spouting a long time ago. Changed your policy to "Let us elite RP'ers dictate the plot" I see. Not a shift I disagree with, but a humorous one nonetheless. @Guards Rubbish, absolute rubbish :/ You're excuses are rather pathetic in most cases Phoenix "Didn't have a choice" being the most dominant, with "It's in character" being a close second. Or was it the other way around? Writing yourself out of a complicated situation is one of the core things in an RP. As I've constantly said "Reaction" is what I believe makes up an RP. And I'm sure we can all agree, that Damian flashing his "Ima hero's son" badge at everything earlier on is not the way you want to solve every problem that you come across. I don't see how you can argue "plot molesting" to get yourself out of one situation, then flip 180 and argue about poorly written plot. @Real Life Right, so we might as well screw what we know as realistic. Hey, did you all know Rita's actually an angel in disguise? Or that Pary is a master swordsman that could take you all on and win? (Yeah, Psych characters, it's the only way to make ridiculous examples and hold water) Might as well give people the power to leap higher and further then a wyvern can fly while you're at it. Whether you like it or not. You're going to end up using Real-life as a base for the RP. Excluding certain cruical points, just because you feel like isn't any different from Mary Sue Damian, or the stupidity you claim Psych is up to. Speaking of pulling out old arguments, what Psych's getting bitched at for, doesn't look much different to heading to Ilyphina, just less idiots encouraging the path. @Forewarnings Oh I'm reading them, and they're more then enough indication that you think your planning is "great." Someone who doesn't would be "Overplanning" projects, and constantly nagging everyone to plan things out with you. I recall agreeing to plan things with you after Selizara, but your response was constantly "Why? You'll tear them to shreds" and nothing came out of it because of your unwillingness to adapt. Collaboration? Right :/ Sure :/ You might of been right anyway since you're just as likely to force your "plan" through as Kai was earlier in this RP. Citing, OoC and IC as the sole reasons. I'm willing to not criticize your "plans" if you stop with the "Let's Collaborate" nonsense. Since frankly you're one of the least likely to actually collaborate anything outside your set group of friends. Comments like Right, so this event will not effect the RP whatsoever right? It'll just effect you and your friends. Did I mention elitism somewhere above? I think I did :/ Ah well, it just goes to show that you're not willing to work with anyone you don't agree with. And I've experienced first hand how you're not willing to relent to the "degrading" of others. @Group work I apologize, henceforth in relation to you I'll use the term "you lack" instead. Psych stubbornness in regards to his plots isn't at all different from your plots, so I don't see what you're trying to say there. Once you have a set idea you want to execute, you're as unwilling as he is to change them. And here we go :/ The good old "You don't know what you're talking about" argument. Sadly enough though, I have been reading snippets of LoAF posts, it started with you telling me to read LoAF to get an idea of how bad Psych was. And while I probably couldn't give an accurate recount of everything that's happened. It's more then enough. Furthermore, I've read and Rp'ed with you in the past. And know that human attitudes doesn't change over night, or over the course of a few weeks even unless given a reason to do so. So while you may not have made "plans" recently, it can simply be directed at the posts I have read while I was an active participant of this RP. I'll stop saying "seem" when you stop spouting 'realistic' since you've stated yourself that you "honestly don't care anymore". As for your next comment, your solution to not godmoding your way out of a situation, is by godmoding before the problem develops? Smart :/ Why didn't I think of that?
  24. There's a few things I could say, but in short Inflexible, over-planning and go write a book. Summarizes my thoughts on the above. Negatively effect other players: You shouldn't join combat RP's then. Go play mommy and daddy or something. You're not going to get a RP if everyone's too afraid to do things with other characters. Furthermore what you might consider to be an interesting plot device could quite frankly be boring to others, I won't argue personal preferences since it's already clear we do not share similar beliefs, however considering the chatter on how everyone hates Psych, I assume ignoring certain posts was a common practice here? Turned off the guards: Right, plot convenience <_< Good to see idiots here are still disabling obvious reactions in favor of getting what they want, what did you do this time? Kill Septimus's ruler and walk out unscathed? I know that's not what happened, but with your logic, if that were to happen. You'd probably say that the guards had the day off and offered the group a drink as they marched out. Real-life: Pffft, you using that term makes the entire argument a joke, but that aside, the real life you know probably doesn't involve traveling around in a world which is experiencing warfare. At the very least, the fact that random mercenaries even got into said event is eyebrow raise-worthy. How crazy life can get is infinite, if you think things can't get that crazy then you've clearly lived a sheltered life and most likely are only looking at life from your social standing. If you look at life from the perspective of multiple people, school, work, the weekend, etc can be alot more hectic then what's been portrayed so far. Most likely not as life threatening. But you continue peeking at the world through your binoculars. Sooner or later I hope someone hits you from behind. :/ Forewarnings: Pointless, and impractical. You were the main supporter behind PM'ing eachother interactions and then posting them as one block. Warning everyone you'll be posting an "event" will not improve anything. With your poorly thought out thinking, it'd not only stall the RP needlessly, but rushing people to interact is not going to lead to better posts. Planning is something you seem to pride yourself on, but frankly you're poor at it :/ Since you set yourself up for one pathway and get annoyed when the plot deviates away from said plan. Furthermore, you seem to still not understand how boring overplanned interactions are. Realistically, people get interrupted during conversations, it's not like you can't go "Hey, you know earlier when you were talking about ______?" and continue the conversation at a later time. If you're looking for a smooth flow, you shouldn't look for it in an RP. You've got several writers who have their own ideas, which are subject to change constantly. What once was plausible, might change to a stupid idea on a moments notice. And "planning" it out is not the solution, adaptability is a core component in group work. A trait that you lack, possibly more then any other Rp'er here.
  25. @Cocytus I thought Arias was already with Beatrice >_< So what? rn7 decided to ditch Spykor's character and Arias and attack the seige alone? (rn7 alone includes Npc's) Ah well, if you want an encounter that's fine, though you'd need to use your "dean" powers to defeat the soldiers. And frankly it shouldn't be clear whether Kieru's been taken prisoner or not. It's not like the soldiers found a need to bind her up and SM drag her back. I'll leave the thinking up to you. As I said, I'm not fussed as long as Kieru gets to Talgusta, and the other follow. Objective here is to have all characters meet up at least once. Before the plot advances to wherever we're going next.
