Super Mario RPG, Super Princess Peach, Super Mario 3D world, the Mario Party games and many other examples. Second, I don’t think you’re supposed think to much about how she’s getting kidnapped. It’s just an excuse for Mario to go on an adventure. But if you really want wonder how she’s keeps getting kidnapped by Bowser, other characters that are also capable fighters, such as Luigi, Yoshi and Mario got kidnapped more than once.

Sorry for the double post, but new characters were announced and they are Aigis, Jubei and Carmine. http://www.siliconera.com/2018/03/16/blazblue-cross-tag-battle-adds-aigis-carmine-jubei-dlc-characters/ It does seems like the Persona characters won’t be exclusive to Persona 4. Also, I’m suprised that Jubei is in. Not to say he’s unpopular or anything, but for a characters that took years to become playable, I’m suprised he got in a crossover before Tsubaki or Hakumen. EDIT:Gah, Ninja’d.

What stages do you want in Smash Switch?
Water Mage replied to Water Mage's topic in Super Smash Bros.
Having recently started to play Xenoblade Chronicles 2, I’ve gotten a feeling that a stage from the game could be like Poke Floats. Now, I usually don’t mind gimmicky stages, but I betting a lot of people would dislike it. I know in the game the clouds are like water, but still. -
-I’ve heard that Nomura really wanted Minwu, so I think he has a good chance. And interesting choice would be one of the Warriors of Darkness from FIII -Vanille might have a good chance, considering Square toyed with the idea of making her main character of XIII instead of Lighting. Beatrix would really be a cool choice too. -Maybe a character from XI or XIV? They are sorely underrepresented. -Ultimecia is in actually. There’s also Yuna and Prishe. -And I also really want Vivi. And to differentiate him from other mage characters, they could make his fighting style based on the Spellblade abilities he had with Steiner, as in he summons elemental blades to attack, or maybe even elemental versions of other IX party members’ weapons. It would be funny to see an elemental fork or flute.

Thinking about it, Vayne was considered for the original Dissidia, so this shouldn’t come as a suprise. It would be interesting seeing him in the original , considering Vayne’s motivations in XII, I get the feeling Vayne would ally himself with Golbez to help the Warriors of Cosmos. Also, here is the hints for the characters that will come after Vayne: New male character (from older half) New female character (from newer half) New male character (from newer half) Female character who previously appeared in Dissidia Final Fantasy series (from newer half) New male character (from newer half)

What stages do you want in Smash Switch?
Water Mage replied to Water Mage's topic in Super Smash Bros.
Look, people are already discussing new characters, and what’s the harm in discussing stages? And let’s not derail the thread this soon, so let’s drop this. -

Even a port can get new stages, so it’s still a valid discussion. -
What kind of new stages do you want so see in the new Smash? Let’s start with Fire Emblem, I think the Opera House from Fates is a cool idea, and I could it being similar to the Fountain of Dreams, when it comes to gimmicks. As in, simple moving platforms. As for the Mario one, I think New Donk City is pretty much certain. For the Zelda one, it’s a bit hard to think of a BotW themed stage, but I think a traveling stage is the most fitting for Zelda BotW. Speaking of traveling stages, I think Pokemon will get one, with each of Alola’s islands. And if Megaman comes back, I have an idea for a “traveling” stage him. Something like “The Megaman Timeline”, as in it would start as a stage based on the original Megaman, then it would time travel to an X stage, then to a Zero stage and finally to Legends stage, before cycling back. That would be a good way to honor the series.

Well, looks like you named the right one, cause Vayne is the new character: I always forget the guy is a pugilist. Don’t know why. And I find it funny that people are complaining about him, calling him a forgettable villain. I mean, Cloud of Darkness and Exdeath weren’t exactly well know before the original Dissidia.

Funny you should say that, because Sakurai said that originally in the Wii U version, all characters would have been available from the start, but since people liked unlocking stuff, he made some characters unlockable. Thinking about it, lots of fighting games these days have the entire cast unlocked from the start. I must admit, I do miss the days where you had to unlock stuff by doing some crazy things. It felt more “special”.

Actually, this is something that is very easy to answer. Why is Archanea still stuck on medieval times? Because things like magic, pegasi and wyverns exist. Necessity is the mother of invention after all. We don’t know how magic is used outside of battle in Fire Emblem, but we can make some assumptions. Why invent a fridge, where there could be ice magic to store food? Why create lantern and electric lights, when you can use fire magic to light up a place? With healing magic, the need for the improvement of medicine might be different. The existence of pegasi very likely have affected the need to invent something to communicate at long distances, and there are likely other examples as well. The existence of magic and flying horses is cool and all, but it might have halted technological improvement in the world. EDIT: Also @Nym other examples of females in male oriented class are Midia, Malice, Cecil and Athena.

What Dragon Tribe do you think Nowi belongs to?
Water Mage replied to DisobeyedCargo's topic in Fire Emblem: Awakening
It’s actually explained in Nah’s support in Tiki that because Nah is half-blood, her dragon from will posses less dragon-like aspects, for example, Nah’s jaws will never be as big as Tiki’s. -
As the title says, what are your biggest gameplay-related pet peeves? Mine is something I recently discovered, which is the fact that in games like Mario Odyssey and Zelda BotW is actually impossible to walk in a straight line. Actually that holds true to all 3D Mario and Zelda games. If I’m not paying attention it doesn’t really bother me, but now that I noticed it, it’s driving me insane.

My Proposed Voice Cast for a Potential Tellius Remake
Water Mage replied to Ragnellius's topic in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Rhys is need calm and gentle, but not really meek voice, so I think Sam Riegel might be a good pick, like a softer Stahl, or his Arthur voice from Rune Factory 4. -
My Proposed Voice Cast for a Potential Tellius Remake
Water Mage replied to Ragnellius's topic in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
I like most of the cast, but I would change Ranulf’s voice actor to Robbie Daymond. He fits Ranulf’s carefree personality more and can still sound pretty smooth like in the Radiant Dawn. I think Lucien Dodge would be better for Levail, making him sound more naive. -
What’s your favorite and least favorite “last words”?
Water Mage replied to CyberController's topic in General Fire Emblem
A favorite one of mine is Tana’s. Everyone keeps saying that she doesn’t know what she is getting into when she says she wants to fight, but her death quote shows that she knew she could die at any moment, and she ready for it. Another interesting one is Tiki’s in Awakening. She almost seems relieved to die. Anna’s in Awakening is also interesting because she seems to have an epiphany in her last moments. -
You know many Mario games, Peach has proven herself to be quite the capable fighter. Plus, in Smash, Peach is the female character with the most physical fighting style. The princess who barely has any fighting abilities is Zelda. Other than light arrows. She is rarely fights, and tends only to appear in the finales.

Another important to thing to notice, is that Lucina was made to be a beginner’s Marth. Sakurai said that Lucina was made to make Marth’s moveset easier for beginners as she doesn’t rely on the tipper. Once you get to the moveset, you could use Marth more easily, since he was always character with a high skill gate.

Problem is, huge crossover games like this thrives with a huge roster. I’m pretty sure future Smash games will eventually have a roster of a 100 characters.
