  1. I've been busy and not feeling well, plus I spend nearly 90 minutes doing calcs per turn, which sometimes gets as high as 4 in a day if I'm up to it, which I am not right now. I'll post my turn, but for this phase, everyone post their own calcs, because I can't math right now.
  2. The establishment and corporations are anti-him, meaning that in politics, he opposes them. Also, he is funding his campaign out of pocket, meaning that his votes aren't being bought, which PACs hate. He is preying on poor southern whites, the majority in the GOP.
  3. Why doesn't the MJ1990 mug have his signature blue armor?
  4. ^Unfortunately, that is how the Neo-Progs in the DNC operate. You are called a conservative racist if you are not the establishment candidate. That won't change as long as the Democrats continue their demagoguery and racist voting trends. Hillary is preying upon minorities for votes, while Bernie is casually raking in votes from people like us on SF. He might make promises that "Con"gress won't allow him to keep, but he will try because this election is going to kill the GOP.

  6. Paralogue 1: Sickle to Sword Back in Ylisse, 1 month from the tournament, The Shepherds were on duty in the Southeast. I saw a young villager running quickly towards us. "Chrom, up ahead! Naga's breath, he's only a child!" As he got closer, he yelled loudly. "Milords! Help!" As he reached us, he calmed down. After explaining that the village children were taken by bandits, he explains his mother went to demand back the children. "A foolhardy venture to take on alone, and worthy of martyrdom to do so unarmed. Point us to the bandit camp and we'll take care of it from there." Once he did so, he expressed his desire to fight. As inadvisable as that was, I saw there was no swaying him. In fact, we had gained a most powerful ally from it. "I'll make you a deal, Donnel. I see you wield a weathered Bronze Lance. If you prove to be able to use it effectively, you would make a great asset to the Shepherds." Chrom shot me a suspicious look, but went along with it knowing I had the best of intentions in mind. The brigands were definitely strong, and would've overwhelmed Donnel had he decided to go alone. But he wasn't, he was a Shepherd, at least probationally, and when we didn't have enough strength to fell an enemy, Donnel struck true at our current foe. He seemed to not be very strong at first, but in fact, his courage outshone even mine in the confrontation. Of course, there was no hope of him slaying the bandit leader, so he left it to me and Sully. This foe was as strong as any I had faced before, And I reveled in his fall. Donnel bashed the lock on the cage that had bound his mother. What he lacked in strength was compensated with ingenuity and potential. When Donnel asked his mother to join the Shepherds, I nodded at Chrom. We needed him, regardless of if he needed us. In the following weeks, Donnel was to train, so that he could wield a sword, because he found out that wielding a lance in armor would be impossible for someone so young and so small.
  7. You know what? I don't care what sort of war would start in the Levant, but the weakness of Israel's neighbors would give it license to expand to it's biblical borders. Actually wait, that would give Netanyahu ideas. Still, I don't necessarily think the Palestinians need their own state. However, the biblical ramifications of Palestine shattering are world ending. Call me a raving religious nut, but the Middle East is not somewhere I think America needs to be involved in.
  8. It would be just as well to disassociate America with the Middle East/Levant as a whole. I know I'm the humanitarian liberal around here, but Southeast Asia, South America, and pretty much the whole of Africa needs our help more. Oddly enough, I have evangelical reasons for nonintervention in the Middle East. On the other hand, we still need to maintain positive relationships with our neighbors, lest the 2020s become like the 1920s. Funnily enough, I heard that Canada was going to start accepting American refugees if Trump is elected.
  9. Chapter 3: Warrior Realm I must have dreamed of Vaike's Death, for it never came to pass. Maybe he is a more competent Fighter than first thought. A Fighter is exactly what we need right now anyways, for the border fortress between Ylisse and Regna Ferox is crawling with soldiers, and not the type that welcome people into their borders. Chrom takes his time pleading his case as I start choosing who should approach the fortress. As good as she is, Miriel would only handicap us, as the guards here wield Iron now, instead of Bronze, and most magic wielders have poor defense. The captain ordered the guards atop the bastions to start throwing their My projections about Sumia were correct, as her speed was matched by none on the battlefield that day. Speaking of those on the battlefield, I saw that mysterious orange armor again, this time only feet from where we were. I was unnerved by it. "Chrom, I think you should investigate that suit of armor. I thought it was disembodied, but I hope I'm wrong." Luckily, I was. It's name, rather his, was Kellam, and he stood as I giant among us, even Frederick. Other than his sheer size, however, there was no presence about him whatsoever. Kellam brought Chrom back to our staging area as Vaike went into formation with him, as I paired up with my illustrious and indomitable War Maiden. Strangely, the enemy did not press the attack, but waited until we were within striking distance. Oh, how poorly they planned, as we baited them out, one by one. Only Captain Raimi, the stalwart garrison CO, stood against, but was quickly felled by Vaike's Hammer and Sully Iron Lance, although I hate to admit that it wasn't without risk or cost. We will lick our wounds for the time being as we head back south to prepare for the Feroxi Tournament, held every five years. It seems that as long as Flavia has been Khan, she has yet to win. This time, however, she feels confident that Chrom, as her champion, will win. We'll have to see, though, as a familiar presence might be around somewhere. Author's note: I had to restart from the beginning because either Chrom or Ares were dying in Chapter 3. This time, I did it without any deaths, and now Vaike is being more useful than he was. Chapter 2 is hell if you don't plan for it.
  10. So, the Godfather beat out Luciano in Sicily, eh? Also, MLK as Khrushchev or Brezhnev?
  11. Even in the midst of a fight, Samara had a duty to her goddess and the people. Samara moves to H10 "Once again, I find myself having to patch up the men in the village because the mayor absolutely refuses to close down that goddess-forsaken arena! I need to get out of here, sister, before my boot finds the mayors-" "Point taken, blessed sister. Tend to the wounded, and I'll take you as my retainer." Christine joins the party.

  13. I'm back, guys. I had quite a bit to do, and some IRL events going on, but I'm back, and I have the Gameplay thread up. I can't post links, so check the Google Doc for everything in regards to the Chapter. Also, anything else that isn't a 2nd perspective character, like questions and convo drafts, needs to go in the Chat thread. Also, if N30 and Shin want me to change the entry dialogue, have them PM me to make edits according to what they would prefer.
  14. Part 1-Prologue: Woman of the Cloth War has been forcefully thrust on Neiky, when Mylos suddenly launched an expedition into Duam, seeking to return Duma influence to the region. Understanding what would ensue for the people of Mylos, Pontifice Airu dispatches Mother Samara of Anteze to the capital Benevolia to help ascertain the justification of the invasion. Many worry of her journey, as she has set out alone, with damning accusations against the Duma faith and its actions inside Mylos. She departs from her abbey on the border with Sharunea, the realm of the Beorc and Laguz, children of Ashunera, the goddess of Balance. As she enters a village, fate will bring her into a fierce struggle. *Enter opponents, Logez, and Mardo* "You dare say that to my face?!" "Hell yes! It may not have been my business, but you just don't extort an Arena Fightmaster!" "He promised me more money than he gave! Isn't that just as wrong?!" "Well then, why don't you try taking it from him?!" "I will! And while I'm at it, why don't they teach you a lesson! Skin 'em, boys." "Oh, so you wanna cause trouble, do ya? Well then, let these old bones show you how deep in shit you are!" *Enter Samara* "Bandits to the South. They won't see them in time. As much as I hate street brawls, I must join the fray to protect innocents." Player Phase: Check the Google Doc for details.
  15. "Same thing again." Gazzak throws his axe once again.
  16. If this were casual, would you have exploited that forest tile? I heard that only the first round of reinforcements arrive if the boss doesn't appear like he did.
  17. ^Obama tried to fix what Bush gave him, but failed because he pushed through the right legislation at the wrong time. Also, much more time needs to pass in between candidates that are related, like between John and John Quincy, or William and Benjamin. Not like the 8 years between HW and Bush, or the potential 14 years in between Bill and Hillary. I will admit Obama's wasn't as bad as some people thought it was, but both the right and the left seem to dislike him. I personally think he was a James Buchanan, in that he couldn't get things passed that needed to be, and that the nation is now looking for a more radical leader.
  18. Ana, I think you mean Switzerland, where everyone has to enter military service for 2 years and then choose a gun in which to keep. Let me address those points you brought up. 1. True Gun Control would be impossible to implement in the US anyway. There are enough Red States to block the passing of an amendment which repeals amendment 2. I agree that the limitations they want won't actually help, but micromanaging is better than ignoring the problem. 2. I know that true "Spreading the Wealth" is a socialist policy and drastically ineffective, but on the other hand, the 2 holding the 90 is equally unethical. I support flat taxing and no deductions because the conservatives want the rich richer and the poor poorer. 3. That's the fault of capitalism, not the government. And if you want to involve government, the Republicans that want a truly free market are against regulating ANYTHING in regards to the economy, which leads to things like the Gilded Age and Great Recession. 4. Once again, the issue lies not within the Presidency. You have to pass bills in order to help them, and the Democrats want to, but they literally can't do it because of Bitch McConnell. The Republicans refuse to pass initiatives for the sake of refusal. As for the refugees, the ones we have are the Sufis, Yazidis, and Kurds, all people who are oppressed by both ISIL and the main sect of Sunni Islam. 5. The US debt is really not debt at all, seeing as though most of that money is owed to Americans. It was going to get that high during Obama's presidency either way. The only way debt goes away is if the power across the entire world is forever cut. 6. The only good Trump is doing is sending the GOP into it's grave by sensationalizing the right. He's pragmatic, an apologist for racism, a demagogue, and an isolationist. You tell me what leader has done any good by being any one of those things, much less all of them?
  19. Boo Camp is EXP, which would make you rich in a very different way. Ghostly Gold is the one you want.
  20. Fire Emblem would've not had a Western Release until Path of Radiance, which could've doomed the series to just those two games. Earthbound wouldn't go beyond a cult classic, and F-Zero GX might not have been released outside of Japan.
  21. Education is everything when it comes to politics. Blah seems to have learned much from studying abroad. I personally like Democratic Republicanism, rather than Monarchism, but that's because our original country lacks the historical baggage of centuries of pedigreed monarchs and dynasts. I do not claim to be politically educated, but I feel as though some people abandon their gut feeling to support someone who makes good speeches. That's cult of personality, and has created people like Heinrich Himmler, Pol Pot, and Kim Jong Il. Trump is definitely one, and won't defend the Constitution as he should. Consider what each candidate would be like as President, not what they promise, for promises often break and are irreparable.
  22. Honestly, our ability to destroy our entire race would probably scare the shit out of most aliens. It almost sounds like the prologue to a Mass Effect fanfiction about Relay 314 from the Turian perspective. Where did the inspiration for this come from?
  23. I really like sky and wind themed dungeons. The common gripes with The City in the Sky really don't matter to me, as it gives the other half of the best item in the game. My favorite dungeons from each game are: None from either NES Title Haven't played a lot of ALttP, even though I own it Level 7 from LA Spirit Temple from OoT Great Bay Temple from MM Jabu Jabu's Belly from OoA Gnarled Root Dungeon from OoS Wind Temple from WW The Sky section from FSA Sky Temple from MC City in the Sky from TP None from either DS game (hated PH, haven't played much of ST) The Sandship from SS and Misery Mire from ALBW. Have not played FS or TFH, and probably won't ever play the former due to the BS requirements for such.
