  1. I think promoted versions of characters is likely, though in a way we are already seeing that through alts. So possibly an alt for say Elise in the future as a strategist. Sooner or later the Askr trio are going to get something. Refinements, update to stats, something. Maybe even Legendary Hero variants. This recent banner shows they arent scared to do variants of them, so we will just have to see. Laguz/Beast units are going to pop up sooner or later, I guarantee it. Id say probably before the end of the year. I doubt we will see much outside of FE in the realm of Tear Ring and all that noise. For one Tear Ring is a Kaga project, not Nintendo or FE related, so there isnt even really a connection there outside of the same person who created them. Maybe TMS, I wouldnt hold my breath. Cipher stands a solid chance at somepoint though. Especially with them finally making it into an FE game with SoV last year. When this might happen, I dont know. I also think a crossover one day happening isnt unlikely outside of the FE series itself? A lot of Gachas do this, and by a lot I mean almost every gacha out there. FGO, FF, Granblue. They all do crossovers. Fates done it with their own series made by the same writer, Granblue has done it with all kinds of shit, Final Fantasy and their games have done it with several things. FEH definitely might do the same. So I wouldnt be shocked to see a small crossover one day with some other Nintendo related property down the line at the least. We just got our first Tome Flier outside of seasonals, I hope that maybe we can get an Armor Mage, and some of those other unique combinations down the line. Armor Mage doesnt have many potential users unfortunately, but something like a Bow Flier, or a Staff Flier would work just fine, especially if they are throwing out say an Elincia alt.
  2. Unfortunately whatever you do you arent going to avoid clones. Its kind of a trade off. Clones means more possible characters, and in the context of characters like Elise and Sakura, I had no issue with them being clones as it worked well enough anyways. Same with Navarre, as the moveset was pretty much perfect for both him and Lyn. I think what we need more than making sure every character is unique, is maybe diversify the weapon based movesets a bit more. All archers having the same moveset sucked. 2 of the 3 Takumi clones were just fine though. But Niles didnt make any sense to be a clone considering he is less of an archer and more of a rogue. And that was the big issue. Rogues were not at included in FEW. So I dont think the issue was clones, but rather characters having a cloned moveset that just didnt make sense. Celica would be another example, though at least she had the excuse of being a literal last minute addition to the roster. Keep in mind these devs dont have all the time in teh world, and creating a whole set of animations from scratch is not an easy thing. Moving on from clones. I think the big thing they need to improve is mission types. FEW was a good start, and the extra mission types added in DLC have been a good move, but I think there could be more to do with that. I think there is currently a defend type mission in the game, but it definitely doesnt work like one. I think that would be one great step, add in an actual defense style mission type where you arent able to capture any extra bases besides maybe the 3 you have, and you must survive and hold onto at least one base for X amount of time. Each base you lose lowers your ranking. The typical stuff. I think this new strategist mode has some potential as well, I would love to see this somehow expanded upon in the future if a hypothetical FEW 2 happens. How it could be expanded on, I am unsure. The gamemode isnt even out yet, so that will have to wait. Weapon wise I think we are mostly good. I think the enemies could use more varied weapons though. Throw in a few slayers on a few characters, maybe even come up with a specific enemy that uses them. So Dragon Slayer, Armor Slayer, Cavalry Slayer enemies that might be on the map through special conditions or the like. Moving on with weapons, I think Daggers would be a great addition to the weapon list. A bit of a missed opportunity with FEW, but considering the room they had to cover with Fates Royals, and this likely being worked on shortly before Fates was even out, its understandable. But its something that would be great to add to a FEW 2. Throw in maybe one of the Ninja from Fates, along with a few rogues from other games, Sothe if Tellius is one of the main games, Matthew if Elibe, etc. Overall outside of that and a few tweaks to current systems in the game, I think FEW was just short of perfect from a gameplay perspective for a Fire Emblem Warriors kind of game. I wouldnt want them to change too much drastically.
  3. Interesting. I still have to wonder why though? Its an intriguing little concept, but its an odd inclusion to say the least. Looks like it might be fun to screw around with, maybe even do a playthrough of the story mode on a fresh save with, but anything more than that, eh.
  4. Itll probably be unique It just doesnt make any sense for her to be a clone of any of the current movesets, and each DLC has had 1 non clone. Fates gave us Azura (Oboro uses the base lance fighter moveset that we just didnt have access to yet), SD gave us Linde, and Awakening will likely be Olivia. As far as the archers go, yeah it was a bit disappointing. Especially with Niles. I would have been ok with the other 3 all being a clone if it wasnt for Niles both getting a cloned moveset and botched stats to go with it. Bringing Lethality to the table while having the worst luck in the game? Really?
  5. Good point. Still an odd choice nonetheless. Wonder if maybe they are taking some liberties and saying this Robin has more connection to Naga or something along those lines?
  6. Lol, waiting is the worst part on these things. I’m just glad I’ve been able to save my orbs over the past month, and looking to do the same with the next. On the fast track to 400 orbs at this point. Female Robin just means I can save a bit more. I just hope Marth gets his turn as a Legendary Hero sometime soon. I’m thinking around CYL 2.
  7. Sure, but might not be the Leg Banner. Could be in an upcoming TT, could be next month’s Leg Banner. Could also be this upcoming Leg Banner. Lot of options that could fit under soon.
  8. They did never confirm that the colorless dragon would be this month, only soon. The current guess is the Leg Banner, but that could be wrong. What do you mean by already established?
  9. If it’s true, kind of an odd choice for a Water oriented hero. Especially since this will be a colorless dragonstone user. The only time Robin has ever been connected to dragons is with Grima, and Grima has 0 connections to water. So clearly they are taking some pretty big liberties if this is true. I figured it would be Female Corrin, considering she uses dragonstones in her own game, and is associated with the water.
  10. There are things that need to be changed at times, localization is a necessary thing. Just from a cultural difference standpoint.
  11. That’s Japan and before localization though. Doesn’t really hold much weight here considering what things can change across localization, for better or worst. In this case for better.
  12. That quote was taken out of context as a whole. Considering the way they were talking with the dlc in recent interviews, and taking into account that the DLC characters were technically never officially announced when we got that leak, they were talking about our current batch of dlc. Which when you think about their statement is entirely true with the current dlc. Tharja, Olivia, Minerva, Linde, and Azura are all popular characters and would be highly requested from those games.
  13. Did we get official confirmation or anything that this is it?
  14. Considering Sonja is pronounced Sonya, and the Japanese version of her name is Sallya or something along those lines, its likely meant to be pronounced with a y.
  15. My version wont fully load up, so I will just list them out. This is mostly just a "If I could choose/characters I would really want to see but not likely to happen" kind of list. 1. Rin (Senran Kagura) 2. Nephenee (Fire Emblem) 3. Doom Marine 4. Edgar Roni Figaro (Final Fantasy VI) 5. Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil 4) 6. Kain (Final Fantasy 4) 7. Tharja (Fire Emblem Awakening) 8. Nero (Fate/Extra Fate/Extella) 9. Arthas Menethil (Warcraft III) (Only one that is entirely impossible due to not being on a Nintendo console)
  16. In the end, it really doesnt matter as long as its fun and has characters I enjoy. Summer, Christmas, Valentines, all of these are banners I enjoyed. I wouldnt even mind some modern stuff like casual clothes banner (not sure where or how this could be used though). I think the seasonal units are just meant to be fun and silly. At the same time though, I really liked the tone set with this latest Seasonal banner. It didnt feel super gimmicky, it had reasonable clothing and seemed like a reasonable situation the characters could be in. And the art was really nice for everyone across the board, no real controversial situations like Tharja or Nowi. So if this became more of the regular, with the more "silly" seasonal banners being held back for stuff like the Summer Banners, I would be ok with that.
  17. Im conflicted with this. On one hand, I really want Winter Tharja to win round 2. I missed my chance to get her and Chrom during the banner after spending almost 400 orbs, and would love to be able to get the character. But at the same time, with that new gamemode coming along, Vanguard Ike would be really nice to have. Leaning towards wanting Tharja to win though, not only would it be a relatively unique character type to be available for free to everyone, but I would also finally get one of the seasonal units I was really wanting.
  18. I’m very cautiously optimistic about it. It’s still Fox, so who knows, but I am hopeful that maybe they will get it right this time. Helps that I think Sophie Turner is our best Jean so far.
  19. Yeah you have told me about your brother before, sad to hear that though. Can’t imagine what any of that is like. Outside of NFL, I really don’t follow anything else. WWE would be the closest but that isn’t really a sport, more like reality TV mixed with some fun shows of athleticism. As far as teams besides the Pats/Falcons go, I am a bit of a fan of the Lions. Living in Detroit for 4 years kind of does that though, and they are truly the underdog. Which makes me hopeful that a change in coaches changes things up for them.
  20. It’s all good. :p. I’m not a super fan of sports so I get things mixed up, mostly follow because my family all love it. And since my dad has been a Patriots/Falcons fan since he was a kid, so am I. My brother even plays in HS, and is looking to possibly play in college. Note taken though.
  21. They weren’t great, no. But not this bad. Part of the issue was the lack of Butler. That and Chung getting injured twice.
  22. Wouldn’t have to do that if we didn’t let up 41 points though. We let through so many 3rd downs. 10 of 16. It was ridiculous. A lot of that was on Bill and his BS, and the defense not showing up. Brady seemed a bit off this game, but still pulled over 500 yards. The offense wasn’t the issue, it was the defense and Bill getting cocky.
  23. Yeah, Bill has a lot of the loss on him this time. Between Butler, the Timeout that was poorly used, and whatever the hell the Brady plays Wide Receiver thing was. He got cocky this game, and he paid for it. That and the defense. We let up 41 points, and kept letting up on third downs. If just one of those was stopped, it would have been a different story tonight.
  24. You said Pittsburgh, my bad. Misread as Philly :p. that I can see, there is a pretty big rivalry there it seems.
