  1. I think it will be split myself. Considering the main force of the school itself are the knights, and we see later in the trailer Edelgard commands a group of knights to attack, we might see the Church of Seiros split in some fashion. Or it will all be evil. I would rather they do something interesting with the concept than straight up evil church, but if they do a good job with it I wont mind. Berseria managed a decent way of using an evil religious organization while also making it complex and not just cartoonishly evil. So as long as they do something like that, I would be fine.
  2. Nobody I am really not liking atm tbh. Design wise I think the avatar looks really good this time around, I love it. The main 3 look great as well. I absolutely love what seems to be the other 2 professors. Got Old Man Dr Strange and Hot For Teacher here. You also got a few others thrown in that look nice, I like high school AU Arden, and roided out Emiya in the Blue Lions. Petra has a great design as well, tbh most of the Black Eagles do. Bernadetta is reminding me a bit of Katarina design wise as well, not a bad thing. Ferdinand looks great too. Overall the designs look great tbh.
  3. Yeah, Melt and Passionlip were released at the same time during the CCC event. From what I understand both were ok, but they werent particularly amazing. You also have Kiara who was released around then too I am pretty sure, who is an Alter Ego. Im not sure how she is from a gameplay standpoint. I just know Melt is heavily quick based, and while she starts off ok she gets better with strengthening quests later. Which we should be getting all 3 this year, around May. They come with the CCC event that should be around then, along with BB as a freebie who is a unique class as Moon Cancer.
  4. There's dozens of us. Dozens! Im not a fan of FE4. Ive tried several times, never made it past the first few chapters. The game either bores me to death, or annoys me gameplay wise. Story wise it seems alright. I might get more into it if it ever gets remade, but its just not something Ive been able to get into. Thracia on the other hand has been enjoyable. I like FE3 over SD/NME. Not sure how unpopular of an opinion that is, but from the bits of 3 I have played, its pretty enjoyable. I like the idea of an Awakening remake, or at the least a HD rerelease. Awakening has not aged well for being a relatively young game. Its only about 6-7 years old, but it looks rough as hell. And its gameplay is a bit weaker than Fates, at least imo. I think a decent remake of it, that patches up a few of its issues. Maybe reworks its middle arc some or something, smooths the gameplay over, and gives it a facelift graphically would go over pretty well.
  5. I figured out Lucina is apparently a real name. I was always under the impression it was made up, but I have seen a few people with the name.
  6. Mostly gameplay stuff would be nice, tbh right now thats all I care about. Story has always been a bit of an afterthought for me with FE. The story is good, cool Ill enjoy it. Story isnt good, then at least its still a decent game. I also havent had an issue with outright hating any story though, so Ill probably be fine there anyway. Characters are more important for me anyway. I want to know if the game will look any different on this look, this was a pretty large delay all things considered. Who knows what might have changed.
  7. Alts will always be a thing with gachas, its extremely rare to go without it, and those that dont do it through costumes, like Azur Lane and Langrisser. Especially when it comes to the typical "seasonal" types. Unfortunately for FEH, they just havent handled any of it well. The alts rarely end up that different from the original character to make them interesting and fun enough to consider, or they end up being so broken and ridiculous that it ends up offputting. I think a good example of the former is Tharja, who has 2 alts, both being a red tome alt. Bride Tharja is literally just powercrept OG Tharja. Or the recent Hinoka alt, who has almost the same statline as the Bownoka alt but with a green dagger instead. I think most of the non seasonal alts are fine tbh, outside of what happened with Adrift. They are almost all canon based, or based on alternate concepts that tbh a lot of other gachas do as well. But again, you run into the same issue as before where they dont do anything that different. Compared to FGO for example, where you get several different alts with different functions. For example you have the original version of Tamamo, who is a caster who is specifically oriented towards support, and then you have her summer alt which is a lancer that is a jack of all trades type. The alts are different, and give a reason to actually want them for gameplay beyond just "Hey its that character I like, but this time they are in a swimsuit, or a cute outfit" etc.
  8. There were a few locations in Awakening that could have been used. You also have the Valentian castles that could have been used, especially the one where you fight Walhart. A map based on the Plegia locations could have worked really well too, as you said Dragon Table, there was also the very map they used in the Awakening dlc where you recruit Tharja. I think what I mean by Fire Emblem is just exact locations that are recognizeable. Outside a handful of FEW maps, the rest are vaguely similar to something, but not recognizably an actual FE map. Im still surprised we didnt see a Opera House map for Fates, I figured that would have at least made it to the game, or at least the harbor from CQ Chapter 10. Things like that would make great maps that fans would have recognized and enjoyed to see from a different perspective. One that only a game like Warriors can really provide.
  9. They knew internally the game was going to get delayed before we did, considering the game was probably looking for a Fall/Winter release initially, I doubt the FEH 3H content was anything beyond the initial planning phase. I doubt there was any artwork, or sprites, but there were probably ideas of what they are doing. There probably is now, but thats only because as far as we know, the game is still due out by Spring. Probably May/June at this point. If not pushing it to Summer for July/August.
  10. Im just going to post my ballot text wise in the spoiler box.
  11. Expand the roster some. On top of that, bring in some more maps, especially maps that actually replicate some FE maps. I think that was the one unfortunate thing with FEW, a lot of the maps took clear inspiration from Fire Emblem locations and all, but didnt feel distinctly FE. I think that is the one thing I would like to see fixed in the future. Other than that, mechanically the game was really enjoyable. I wouldnt want anything else really fixed. Maybe a bit more fleshed out and expanded upon, but thats it.
  12. I dont mind fanservice personally, nor do I mind fanservicey designs. Fates took it a step too much with the Camilla cutscene in BR, but that is the only time I have ever had an issue with where FE went with fanservice. And even then, I have seen far, far worst. That was only a slight annoyance. I think fanservice isnt going anywhere, it never has to begin with. You can go all the way back to the original 3 games to see it. You can claim its gotten worst over time, but our Pegasus riders have always had miniskirts, thigh highs, and heels, so it really hasnt. And thats not even getting to things like Dancers. And thats the thing. As long as it doesnt go to a downright almost pornographic route, and the designs match what they are going for with the character, I dont think its a problem. As attacked as Fates was for its fanservice, we still have characters like Selena who were fully clothed and had a great design. For every fanservicey character design in Fates, I can point to another that was fine. Obviously thats not counting the armor designs on the character models, but that was a mess in and of itself. I struggle to even call that fanservice, I never looked at one of those character models and thought "that looks attractive". I think Tharja is actually a decent example of a fanservicey design done right. I admittedly have a bit of bias here, but I think the clear Egyptian inspiration being mixed with a fanservicey design worked well for the character and didnt feel out of place. The Dancers are also a good example, the entire point is that they are supposed to be in a rather revealing outfit, they are performers after all. And outside of Camilla, I dont think we have ever crossed a point where we had fanservice directly bleed into the story. Even Awakening, I cant remember a single point where I had an ass shoved in my face, or some tit shot or something. Hell, Lucina has a really modest design compared to almost all female characters in the series, let alone the 3DS games. So I think we are alright there for the most part. And with Three Houses designs so far, I doubt we will be seeing any of it there either. So as long as they keep going with what theyve been, excluding Camilla's cutscenes and the armor designs of the 3DS titles, I think FE is doing things right.
  13. It is unfortunate, and yeah. It wont go away. There are so many other fandoms that show that it never really gets repaired, once its there, its there. Best thing anyone can do is to just not be an ass about anything, there will always be those people but just try not to be one of them. Three Houses will only kick up the dust again since we are in a lull right now with only FEH to direct things at. And unfortunately I think this little Langrisser debacle has only shown the worst parts of the fandom as well, a lot of what I am seeing directed at the series on other sites has been rather silly and even hypocritical. Its unfortunate that these are the people who are making a first impression for us.
  14. I alternated my vote for Micaiah and Tharja up until the final 2 days. Sent my last two to Eliwood in hopes he wins, he did way better than I expected and would love to see him secure one of those spots. I do hope next year they make the change to separate the male and female voting though, I think that might make the choices a bit easier.
  15. Im thinking the banner will be "Yune", Micaiah essentially. Just the version from the last parts of the game where Yune took control. I do think Sephiran could be possible, but I have a feeling if they choose anyone itll be Micaiah. Seems like the trailer will be tonight. Im interested to see what we get, I hope I am right.
  16. Camilla's weapon. At the very least the weapon names on this banner have been great lmao.
  17. Its unfortunate there is so much salt, reasonably so, around this. The art looks nice and tbh this is the one banner where Camilla popped up that actually makes sense. It was established a few times Camilla likes hot springs/bath houses, so. Shes free though, and the art is nice. So Ill put her to use.
  18. As far as the ones I find most baffling that arent in the game yet. 1. A serious Tellius GHB. We just got Naesala finally, but we went almost 2 years with no Tellius GHB other than Oliver. Which.....is just not a good representation of Tellius's villains, lets be honest. And technically this was supposed to be a Radiant Dawn Banner, of which Naesala isnt even a boss character in, that was Path of Radiance. Between Jarod, Sephiran, Levail, even Ashera if they really wanted to go there. They had some decent options. And for Tellius as a whole, Petrine, Ashnard, etc.Honestly a bit surprised they havent tapped into it much. 2. Awakening Gen 1. The Olivia banner was the first banner in over a year since launch that gave us any gen 1 Awakening reps. Before that it was either 2nd gen, or nothing at all. We are missing several of the 1st gen Awakening cast, I am honestly surprised to see it missing for this long. 3. Severa/Inigo. Same game, I know, but I find this one odd too. We technically have Inigo in the form of an alt, but tbh I dont think that counts. We just got Owain recently, but Severa and Inigo have both been missing. Its especially odd considering they are quite popular, which was the entire reason they showed up again in Fates to begin with. 4. Zeke. I find it odd we have yet to see him pop up on a banner in any way shape or form. Especially after the Zelgius situation. Its a perfect situation for them to milk the GHB situation a bit with a GHB alt essentially, but we have yet to actually see anything even SoV related since 2017. We did get Kliff recently, but that was due to it being essentially Farfetched 2. 5. Fates Gen 1. Again, find it odd we havent seen many of them at all. Especially Charlotte for one, but also Rinkah, Nyx, Benny, etc. We finally got a few in September, but it took a while. Seems like they were mostly focused on giving us Gen 2 Fates and then an alt or two to go along with it. 6. Dawn Brigade members. Granted this is a bit of personal bias here on my part, but when they announced the Radiant Dawn banner back in November, I imagined it was going to be RD specific units, which made me think Dawn Brigade. But we have had 2 dedicated Radiant Dawn banners, and we only have Sothe and Micaiah. And this most recent banner had only Nailah as the RD exclusive units, the rest were all PoR units who returned in RD. Nolan, Edward, Fiona, Leonardo, Aran, Pelleas, not a one of them after 2 dedicated RD banners. I personally find it kind of odd. Ill end my list there, these are the ones that stand out to me the most as being odd for not being in yet in some way, shape, or fjorm.
  19. She was but she was also using a completely unknown weapon. And you still have the rest of that CYL who were all completely separate. They could do that with Miccy, but I would find it incredibly lazy considering they gave Ike his Vanguard version for Leg Hero and a special version for CYL.
  20. You would have to be blind to say there isnt one. Now its not exactly so bad the fandom is just in shambles, but theres enough there that it can make certain things annoying to deal with. Fates release was particularly annoying for myself since there were threads almost daily for an entire year about why the game was bad. I understand the story was bad, but when its on month 8 post release and you have thread #256 of why Fates sucks, its a bit tiring. Now I will be honest, in my own experience, I think the most vocal of the critics for either side is on the older side. And I think part of that is because some of the most fervent fans that will argue their game to the death belong to the Jugdral and Tellius games. So those specific fans tend to be extremely vocal when it comes to their opinions on things. And I dont necessarily think its a wrong or anything, but I think it definitely makes a situation where one side definitely has its louder members. Keep in mind louder doesnt exactly mean more. Unfortunately FEH doesnt exactly help matters either, since FEH has done nothing but cause the fandom to turn on the recent games even more than ever due to its clear bias towards Fates in particular. And as much as I personally understood the decisions with FEW, but think the marketing dropped the ball, it didnt exactly help matters either.
  21. The game is definitely interesting. Im enjoying it so far, and itll definitely be something I keep toying with. Its got a lot to do for being a relatively new release. And with a collab event already announced, I am interested in seeing what we get in the future as well. Perfect timing for this to release as well, I just started the original yesterday, and have the 2nd downloaded and ready to go with its english patch. I hope the game does well, more TJRPG/SRPGs on the market is not a bad thing at all.
  22. I doubt they would. All the CYL so far are different from canon in some way. Ike taking Greil's outfit + Urvan, Celica literally being in Alm's spot instead considering shes got Royal Blade and some of her comments from Forging Bonds, etc. They are attached to their own world in some way, but not directly what they are in their own games. Im throwing my votes towards Miccy and Tharja. Id like to see either one of them win, maybe with the heat being on Fates so much lately and Awakening being less of a punching bag Tharja stands a slight chance. That and I would like to see what they would come up with for either of those two. Though tbh my guess is its going to be Micaiah and Eirika this year. As far as the male side goes, probably Reinhardt. I am legitimately curious what they would do with a CYL Reinhardt.
  23. Now, I will say this. Everyone is pointing out IS just not listening, ignoring feedback from the last few months. And I will add this to the fire. IS obviously plans these banners several months in advance. From what I understand Sakura's JP VA is actually not doing any voice acting right now, as she is studying abroad or something like that. So just on that alone its obvious this banner was planned at least a few months ahead of time. This banner isnt reflecting what IS is currently doing. We wont really know how IS is planning on dealing with feedback until post Anniversary. I do think that is why we got our RD and BB banner announced long before they were due. They didnt just come up with them on the spot, though BB was probably in its early phases. They announced it because they knew what was coming. It was already too late to change it, throwing out voice acted lines, already commissioned art, and schedules entirely because its not going well atm would just make more issues. But they had to say something, so they revealed those 2 banners early. Of course this still doesnt address why IS thought that 3 Camilla alts in 6 months was a good idea, but thats besides the point. Send feedback, keep talking, especially keep letting the money do the talking. This banner doesnt reflect what they are seeing, this was probably already a finished banner by October, I guarantee it.
  24. While I am not happy with the game in its current state, and I dont see an end to this anytime soon, I also dont have a reason to completely uninstall and forget the game entirely. I still enjoy logging in for 10-15 minutes to do a map or two, collecting orbs for those times here and there that a character I like shows up isnt bad either. Unless the game really does something truly horrible, I just dont see a reason to completely uninstall atm. I will also say though, my investment in the game is pretty much at a minimum. I barely do any content that releases, I dont regularly do Arena or AR, I dont take full advantage of every event. I regularly dont log in daily. So while I havent uninstalled the game, I also really am not participating in it nearly as much as I used to.
  25. Most of the Saber alts arent even Saber. They arent even the same character, just similar look. MHX and MHXX are completely separate, and as Azure had said are jokes. They have the same look, kind of, but that is the extent of their similarities. To go a bit more into it, MHX exists to hunt and kill all other "saber faces". Its a joke on the fact that there is the entire Saber Face situation because Takeuchi likes reusing the face so much. Alter is a corrupted form of Altria, and is entirely her own character with her own personality and quirks. Again, the similarities pretty much end once you look past the design. Alter has 2 alts, but only one is directly her as well. That being her summer alt. Then you got Santa Alter, who is her own character again with her own personality and story. Again, she is mostly a joke character as all "season" based variants are for FGO, but still entirely different. The only direct Altria/Artoria alt is her Summer version. And arguably her Lily version. Summer is literally just Artoria in a bikini and with a water gun. Lily is her younger self before becoming King. Lancer Artoria is also her own thing, as she is from an alt reality. Completely different story and character. To be honest, these "Artoria Alts" arent even alts. The only alts I would claim are hers directly are Lily, and Summer. The rest stand alone as their own entity. And I dont personally see how this situation is insane. She is by far, the most popular Fate character. She is the first choice for crossovers, she is in every Fate game that can reasonably fit her in. Its no different than how Marvel uses Spiderman, or how DC uses Batman and Superman. They use the characters they know have 1, proven to sell and are a pillar of their franchise, and 2, people love to see. Its what any company does with the face of their product.
