  1. Would you say that this offered reasons to deploy otherwise below-average stat units (that would otherwise be ignored in other FE entries)? This is assuming that said units bolster the Leadership bonus. Again, I am asking this because I have no idea.
  2. You probably don't want to be in my shoes then. I grew up listing to stuff up to the 1970s and earlier. Including jazz and classical music, as I was playing clarinet in a concert band. I generally enjoy it more than the current J-Pop songs back home.
  3. Okay, so there were actual leadership effects in previous games. I haven't played any of the above mentioned, so that's why I don't know. What do you think about having the Jugdral-style leadership bonus together with the current interpersonal support bonuses? (Did the enemy had leadership bonuses too?)
  4. I've noticed that the royals in Fates (although not so much for my Corrin in my Conquest LP) and Chrom/Robin in Awakening are the gamebreakers. I actually question this to be honest, because I thought Fire Emblem is all about cherishing your units, leadership, and teamwork to win the game. If Roy could promote at an earlier time (or had a higher cap for his unpromoted class), then I actually prefer this way of "physically weak leader utilises charisma to lead a strong army". Because as far as I am concerned, isn't leadership, charisma, and morale also important aspects in winning wars? In Roy's case, he could have an wide area-of-field effect that boosts his troop's, say, avoid, accuracy, and critical activation chance - which I will call as the charisma effect. Of course, there is the question of just how much bonus the game should allocate - something I haven't thought about. Too much, and the game becomes too easy. Not enough, and you might as well not bother. As his level grows, the boost becomes stronger and wide-reaching; it is basically translating raised morale into gameplay. Other characters on a limited scope could also provide the same effect: Lilina: provides a lesser charisma effect for her Ostian soldiers (Barth, Bors, Wendy, and Oujay) Roy's love interest (female A-support partner): The love interest has a small charisma effect on everyone. (This includes Lilina, and her charisma will stack with the aforementioned.) Marcus: for the Phaere soldiers (Alan, Lance, Wolt) Echidna/Elphin/Lalum: for the Western Isles people Douglas: for the Etrurian army (Klein, Cecilia, Perceval et al) Zealot/Juno: For the Illian army (Thany, Tate et al) Similarly, for Shadow Dragon, Marth and to a lesser extent, Caeda would have their charisma effect on everyone. For others: Jaygun: Abel, Cain, Gordon Ogma: Bord, Cord, and Barst Hardin: Roshea, Vyland, Sedgar and Wolf Minerva: Palla, Catria, Est, Maria
  5. Well, I tried Hard Mode in Binding Blade with as little death as possible. (My "best" Normal Mode had Rutger die, but that's it. Everyone else recruited and alive.) I gave up on Chapter 7 and gave up Hard Mode entirely. I can do arena abuse or boss abuse and trash my gameplay ratings that way; that's no problem. But I...just can't let my precious boys and girls die!
  6. Chapter 17 Part 2: Communication amongst Communist commotion Communist greetings Violation of diplomatic immunity
  7. My second file with Awakening (Hard Mode) became pretty boring with tons of grinding and what not - I stopped at Chapter 17, decided to take a break, and eventually sold it. I also played a bit of Super Paper Mario, and I was quite unimpressed with the story. Actually I saw Youtube LP clips of the final stage and I was quite miffed at Luigi being such a sissy wimp. I decided to give that a boot too. I was at World 5-1. On a related note, I might also end up not playing the whole Fates triology (Birthright and Revelations) - the opinions of fans here don't look too encouraging to be honest, and by the time I finish my Conquest LP, I want to get Pokémon Sun and Moon.
  8. Likewise with others, I shall endorse Arthur x Azura as one of the best supports - not just for either Azura or Arthur, but one of the best in the entire game. I would also recommend Elise/Azura as a good example of sisters bonding over trust.
  9. As I regularly send stuff over to Japan, I can vouch for most people's suggestion. I would, however, make the following changes, though. (In bold) 〒650-8799 Force of Will事務局担当宛 (宛 is "To") 神戸中央郵便局留 (留 is the equivalent to "c/-") 神戸市 中央区 栄町通 6-2-1 (You don't have to add 丁目 in front of the "6".) Hyogo Prefecture, Japan Always start from the biggest division to the smallest if you are writing in Japanese If there is one thing I'll do differently to both shadowofchaos and Wist, I would write both the prefecture and the country in English - as I had some cases where my local post office asked me to do so. While I'm speculating, I say its because your (@Captain Karnage's) mail will most likely go through Kansai Airport in Osaka, while most of my mail back home would go through either Narita or Haneda Airports in Tokyo.
  10. Yeah, I actually used those boots on Effie. Just so that she can keep up with the others without having to pair up all the time.
