  1. Yeah, I remember a lot of the enemies are surprisingly tough from the get-go. It also doesn't help that healing items are actually limited for the first couple of chapters unlike Earthbound.
  2. Yeah the only way to keep away the Paralogue 5 villagers' is to cover their entire movement range with your units. That means that for them to not cross the bridge leading to the middle island, you need to cover that bridge with your units.
  3. So let me get this straight: @blah the Prussian: I know during the 30s, Mao's Communist China tacitly made Chiang's Nationnalists fight against the invading Japanese - and only the Eighth Route Army did any sort of resistance. (The Japanese Wikipedia even states that he even dealt with the Japanese in secret.) When he was in Yan'an in 1937, apparently he even cheered when the Japanese took over Nanjing from the Nationalists. @Acacia Sgt: I've had a read; I didn't know that it was one where the Wehrmacht and the SS were pitted against each other. (And that the Americans fought alongside the latter.) While I still have trouble trying to logically fit all of this in, shall I do the following? Kotaro with Mao as the leaders of Mokushu/Communist China - as a rogue Allied nation that needs to be desciplined Kohga as the USSR/Nationalists - except that they still exist at this time in the 20th Century, obviously Kagero and Saizo as Japanese diplomats posted on their way to the USSR - as USSR haven't officially declared war against the Japanese yet. (Not until the last war days of August 1945.) As Communist China was alienated by the USSR, it decided to capture Kagero and Saizo (who were en route) with the pretext of "spying for the possible enemy".
  4. Ash Ketchum, Chrom of Ylisse, and Ness's Dad recruited all the trombonists they could to play Seventy-Six Trombones from the musical The Music Man (1957), composed by Meredith Willson. The number of trombonists (including the said recruiters)? 27,320
  5. Another opinion that I am unsure of its unpopularity: I could care less about the Olympic Games, and I avoid watching them on TV like the plague. They're nothing but just some rubbish propaganda exercise by the host country. And one that would be very unpopular with my compatriots back home: I also intend to avoid footages of Hideki Tojo's and the Japanazi's Sports Show (read Tokyo Olympics 2020). In fact, I actually wish the Olympic Games in Tokyo would be cancelled, because of the huge political, financial, and social mess my home is already in.
  6. Rosa: "Ooooh oooh ooooooooooh, it is maaaaai turrrn~♫ And it's twenty-seven thousand three hundred and ten~♫" (27,310) Nate: ROSA!!! SHUT THE F**K UP!
  7. My general media ones: I too don't like horror/zombie genres. The only ones I enjoyed from the two? Scary Movie 3 for the former, and Michael Jackson's Thriller for the latter. The only TV show I watch with any sort of regularity nowadays is the news. No, really. (Although, I did enjoy the Colbert Report and John Stewart's the Daily Show. They were good.) I don't know how unpopular this is, but I tend to favour stuff that are more grounded in real-life - though this isn't a hard-and-fast rule. As a Japanese, with some exceptions, I could not care less about J-Pop. (The general rule would be unpopular with my compatriots, the exceptions would probably be more popular, however.) I'd prefer to listen to classical or jazz music. I'm almost always a latecomer to a fad. (See below for a specific example.) More specific ones: Also unsure how unpopular this is, but I lost all interest in reading Harry Potter since Book 4. Reading 300 pages each for the first three books and then suddenly jumping up to 1000 pages thereafter really felt like the author was padding the word amount. (She probably didn't, but it turned me off all the same.) I only got into Pokémon after the craze started to hit amongst my American friends in '99. Before then, I didn't care. Being a recent returnee/kikoku-shijo from the US, I only got into the craze because of Pokémon starting to become internationally popular. Another video game one: I also don't know how unpopular this is, but for a long time, I dislike the GC and GBA libraries the most. Though, this will have to change, due to the even more pathetic Wii U library. (At least GBA introduced me to Mother 1+2, and Fire Emblem: Binding Blade (my first FE game!), two games which I love to this day.)
  8. It is very ironic to upload this (as my profile's hometown location shows), but even as a former Axis nation citizen, I cannot help being moved by this:
  9. Banned for not giving a valid reason for banning the one further above.
  10. I've been getting a lot of Pebbles from Frederick from all that support-grinding in Before Awakening. I hope to give Felicia a +7 Forged Pebble at the end.
