The Patriots' D hasn't played well while their top defensive lineman is injured. They haven't stopped the run. Across the board though, the Patriots have better talent at each position imo
-
AFC East is beast. Each team is remarkably competent for the first time in a very long time. It's truly a far cry from what people assume the division is comprised of (Pats + shit)
The Steelers still have a crap defense, the Browns have a midget at QB, the Bengals will implode come the playoffs and we won't be hearing about Ball So Hard University this season.
-
I want the Jets to lose this game but I think they'll pull out the win tonight
-
Well, I'll eat my words. The Pats have been unstoppable since their first offensive and defensive series. The 4 TE package the Pats continue to roll out in the red zone could be the advantage the offense needs against stacked AFC defenses this season. The Steelers had no answer and Gronk just caught a TD from that formation against a great defense
-
Christ, the Pats defense offered no resistance whatsoever on the opening drive. This could get ugly
-
The side goal of this playthrough should be to train Thany up as much as possible

Forgot I left a statement about AP being a hero or something. That was sarcasm, people. AP whips his kid. And he's old.
I was just shitting around with Ana who was talking about how AWESOME so and so Steelers player is. I cope in my own ways, leave me alone
-
He's clean now. He only did that because of YOUR bad influence RB, Blount. He's not doing that crap anymore.
Sureeeeee he isn't. I donno about you, but MY best RB in the league keeps his nose clean and stays out of trouble. Ladies and gentlemen, Adrian Peterson
-
Yeah, but he smokes weed and drives. Not too RB material if you can't stay clean imo
-
+1 depressed follower, put up the poll soon plz. Also since videos are apparently illegal does that mean screenshot run?

Tebow might as well play fullback. The man really couldn't ever throw the ball. And no, his playoff win against the Steelers doesn't mean he was ever worth balls. Tyrod's TD pass to Harvin was better than any throw Tebow made in his entire career.

I enjoy watching the aggressive flaming that takes place in this thread. I'd argue that Butler is better than you give him credit for, Oog. Of course, there isn't much of a sample size, so that judgment will have to wait.
I'm kinda scared Tyrod is gonna have like 60 fantasy points this week. The Pats have always played shit defense against mobile QBs

Don't worry, everyone's favorite receiver that talks the most trash in the league is still healthy. Edelman 4 prez

Looks like Suggs is out for the year. That's a huge blow to the Ravens, especially with the AFC as strong as ever
-
My friends and I lol'd when Phil Simms said "the Ravens don't have a very good pass rush..."
That being said, Flacco is getting pressured a lot currently. The O-line is struggling early
-
If you can't tell from the gif of the failed catch that his foot is clearly out when the ball reaches him, there isn't much that can be said. All I'll say is, don't you think there would be a bit more of an uproar from Steelers fans if they were dicked out of a TD catch when their team lost by 7 points? Maybe Mike Tomlin would've chosen that to bitch about after the game instead? Yeah, maybe.
Or MAYBE all of the aforementioned parties understood that DHB wasn't in bounds when he caught the ball.
-
^ the man has a point. Also, saying things like "I shouldn't have to repeat myself" when everyone is telling you why you're incorrect is sort of ridiculous.
-
His knee being down doesn't matter when he doesn't have control of the ball
-
This game is quite discouraging to me tbh. Easley was injured in the first quarter, and he was expected to be a difference maker on the defense. Otherwise, the front 7 has looked like garbage. No pass rush to speak of to this point, and fucking run defense is a joke.
I say 50-50 Patriots win, even with the lead. Ben is making every throw he needs to and our defense has no answers
-
LOL chill out Ana, the game is early. No need to be so salty
Also who exactly is "they" that said whatever? Ooooooookay
-
This game is a shit show. Todd Haley and Josh Scobee ftw
-
Wow, so with Ryan Wendell sitting tonight the Patriots might run out 3 rookies at all interior O-line spots. This should be exciting
-
That was easily one of Brady's best games, would've been one of his greatest ever if it weren't for an absolutely terrible pick he threw in the first half. Still, that frozen rope he threw to LaFell for the go-ahead score was actually my favorite play from last year's playoffs (well, we'll call it 1a...)
EDIT: Aren't Pats-Ravens games generally pretty high scoring? I mean, the Cundiff AFC Championship was like 24-21 but every other game I can remember had at least one team scoring 30+ (and the Pats getting shit on)
-
I guess it's all really game dependent. If said pass rush is coming from either edge, a good QB can step up in the pocket to buy himself time. An interior pass rush is most devastating since the QB sees big ma fuckas in his face and also cannot merely step up in the pocket to avoid them.
Unrelated note, your sig has been asking me to add you on FB for a while now so... I did

I actually meant to say across the board on defense. That you can't really argue against
