  1. He's a RB over 30, was injured for most of the year, and ran like his feet were stuck in mud when he was on the field. Sounds like a present to me

EDIT: Also, LOL at Harris having a hole to blast through "even though there was a holding." You ever wonder why holding is a 10-yard penalty for the offense?

  2. To be fair, the Dolphins probably came in at the last second with a better offer. It didn't seem like he wanted to stay in Cleveland, anyhow. And why would he? He's a pure pass catcher and the Browns have arguably the worst QB situation in the league (all that money to Josh McCown? What the absolute fuck?)

Also, Steelers are apparently close to signing DeAngelo Williams. Better hope Bell stays healthy/his suspension is short, because DeAng looked pretty donezell last season in Carolina

  3. I mean, hey, every O-line can't be perfect each week. Geriatric James Harrison actually wreaked havoc against a number of teams' offenses. But trust me, without a top O-line (at least run blocking-wise,) there's no way in hell Forsett has the kind of year he had last year.

Also, I like how the Pats signed Scott Chandler because now the Ravens currently have an empty TE depth chart behind Pitta

  4. If Carson Palmer had been healthy then I think the Cardinals win that game. That offense ran pretty well with Palmer at the helm, and the lack of depth at QB really just sent this team into a freefall ( especially once Carson did his thing and tore his ACL right after signing an extension, again.)

Having a backup punter certainly hurts special teams, too. Sans injuries, Arizona > Carolina by a decent amount. Hey Ana, what was the Panthers' record going into the postseason again?

  5. Hell yeah, anybody remember a certain MNF game in Kansas City? There's a great example of how Tom Brady plays when his interior o-line is complete ass.

Fun fact: I had a friend that went to that game, Pats fan obviously. By the end of the game Chiefs fans were buying him beers, and consoling him because "his team sucks now."

Midwesterners are kind to a fault

  6. I've recently realized that I've completely lost touch with who I am over the past couple of years, and part of that certainly includes a lack of passion about anything (except maybe drugs.)

So I just thought I'd ask whoever is willing to answer: What are you passionate about? What hobbies or activities do you have/do that make you happy?

  7. After Brady retires Pats fans are going to be lost.

Not necessarily. I strongly believe Bill will remain at least a few years past Brady's retirement, in order to prove that he can win without Tom. Also, the team finished 11-5 when Brady missed the entire year (with Matt Cassell at the helm too, no less.) Obviously losing one of the greatest QBs ever will hurt, but it won't end the team

  8. It's hilarious that market value for a decent QB (even non-championship winning wins) is around $20 mil a year. Patriots fans don't give Brady enough credit for having such an insanely team-friendly contract to allow for more cap space. Joey's contract certainly hurts the team in terms of cap hit, but he's sure as shit worth that money in the playoffs

  9. Ohhh yeah, Tech fans left and right. It's funny because Tyrod didn't even do that well at Tech, and couldn't even unseat statueman Sean Glennon as the starting QB. Any poor man version Mike Vick probably shouldn't be starting in the league.

Though I donno how any Ravens fans can actually not want Joe Flacco to start... have they watched the playoffs since Flacco came into the league?

  10. To be fair, every team has its share of idiots. Idiots just happen to make up 80-85% of the Patriots' fan base.

Heck, on Tuesday a guy called the weekly Pats radio show I listen to and said that the offensive line should be ignored, because if Tom Brady is getting pressured regularly each week then he'll learn how to manage the pressure by the end of the season and the playoffs. Sound logic

  11. Troy Brown is just too much of a boss. He used his DB skills to great effect in that game

EDIT: Also I'm assuming one of the hypothetical rings comes from the 14-2 one-and-done? There were still 2 more games after that one for them to win so I donno bout that. Also can't figure out where the 3rd one is coming from
