  1. I honestly believe Buffalo will make the playoffs this season, but with Cassel as the best QB on the team, I can't imagine 5-1 in the division happening. Especially given their mediocre O-line and the fact that every team in the division has an elite D-line (well, except the Patriots, but even their D-line is probably top-12)

  2. MB has a great point. So much is made of the so-called "self-fulfilling prophecy," and for good reason; if you show up and act like you don't expect to the get a job, your body language and other factors will reflect that, and guess what? You don't get a job.

It may be tough to have confidence in yourself when you don't succeed as often as you like, but the key to so many different things is just having confidence in yourself and seeing yourself succeeding.

This is about 50x more true when it comes to women. I'd say 4 out of 5 females would agree that a male's confidence is the biggest turn-on for them. At least, that's what the majority of the girls I've been involved with have said to me.

  3. I mean, the NFL loves to copy things that work. Richard Sherman has had a lot of success and that's mostly due to his length, so I can kinda understand why teams look at length now more than ever when it comes to DBs. Hell, Brandon Browner was the only reason the Pats' secondary didn't get completely fucked by a WR who had never caught a pass in his career (the aforementioned slot type corner, Kyle Arrington, got absolutely whipped by him)

  4. Those are certainly some bold predictions VS, but I'd be shocked if Gurley made it out of the 1st round. And there's a 0% chance he isn't selected in the 2nd round if that's the case. Even despite the ACL tear, he's arguably one of the top RB prospects since AP.

Also given the NFL's new obsession with DBs that have size, Rollins likely won't make it past the 3rd round.

Ed Reed 4 biggest chump safety evar

  5. Valid points. I mean they outlawed for a reason, right? Though to be fair, on the plays in question the ref literally said "Do not cover number 34" but obviously it was intended as deception (I wasn't arguing against that point at all)

Hell, isn't football all about deception? To an extent anyway. I think about the game back in 2006, NE against Miami (the infamous introduction of the wildcat.) That was certainly deception, and it sure as shit worked; check out highlights of that game if you want to see the most unprepared you will ever see a Belichick-coached defense.

  6. I still think it's crap because the ball carrier is already stopped, so the play should be ruled dead. IMO the guy with the ball should be the only person responsible for actually advancing it.

And why hate on the pylon rule? The pylon represents the furtheresrt part of the goal line that is still in play, so by touching it you're crossing the goal line. Your argument doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me

  7. The last few times I've done this chapter on HHM I really haven't had any problems with the NPCs. Jaffar may get hit once or twice, which is good because he will heal up and retreat from the mass of enemies that start close to him. I also tend to rush down the right side of the map (which doesn't really have too many tough units) to the right treasure room, which just happens to contain a rescue staff that can be used to save Zephy

  8. Honestly you can get a good gauge of other teams just by watching all the primetime games available, which includes shitty Thursday night games. The wonderful thing about the NFL is that you don't even need to have cable to be able to watch 3 or 4 games per week (regardless of your TV market.) With that being said, you don't really need to "heavily research every team" to be able to know which teams have good/bad offensive lines.

Besides, how are you gonna laugh at my assertion that Baltimore has a top-5 O-line, based on one week of evidence ALONG with the fact that you're basically saying you don't know much about any team outside of Pittsburgh? Seems a bit unreasonable imo
