  1. What would I change? Starting with FE 3... FE 3 - Nothing FE 4 - Nothing (I like the long, drawn out maps) FE 5 - Haven't played it yet, still nothing FE 6 - Nothing FE 7 - Nothing FE 8 - Overall enemy growths increased a bit FE 9 - Nothing (Haven't gotten past the prologue) FE 10 - Extra Dawn Brigade exclusive chapters added in part 3 FE 11 - Nothing at all FE 12 - Nothing FE 13 - Story Promotion for chrom (chapter 16) FE 14 Still trying to beat conquest, but nothing so far. Why say anything, when I would change nothing about so many FE games? Because I'm perfectly happy with what we have today.
  2. The first time I played the 1st generation, I paired Arden with Fury. RIP Vegetable Stand. Arden is always fun to use
  3. If this topic has been mentioned before, I haven't seen it. :P The character doesn't need to be someone you use on every play through. Maybe they are a bad/underused unit? Maybe they are disliked across the community? Just... you use them from time to time even when the world is against you. (Maybe not that extreme) If you have more than one, feel free to put them in, too! Everyone deserves a time to shine! Also, be sure to put which fire emblem game the specific unit/character is in. Mine are: Macellan from FE 11. His armor is a different color than everyone Else's and he's just so serious about his duty. Plus he makes a good Hunter for me when reclassed. Marisa from FE 8. She's hot. She's not very sociable, like me! And I just really like her sprite's design.
  4. Shadow dragon take 30 minutes or less per map. Why? Wolf. Wing Spear. Warp staff. Forge. The end.
  5. Most Balanced: Blazing Sword Least Balanced: By the OP's Words of both characters and Game mechanics, Radiant dawn would have to take the spot. But honestly, It's my opinion that the fire emblem series needs to have an unbalanced character roster. Not insane measures like RD, but more Like Binding blade or Shadow dragon. Everyone CAN be used, just many are better than the ones that are pure garbage. My reasons? Well, in war, you don't see conscripted citizens or drafted citizens having OP as sH*t weapons, and the other soldiers who have been training for years to have enough muscle mass to keep up. You see normal people with normal ability. The soldiers and Commanders are stronger if they have trained longer. If everyone is on the same level, then any sense of realism or war morale is lost in who is fighting. Not every army is OP and needs nerfing more than greninja. Every army has people. If those people, however mediocre, don't get a slim chance to shine in the midst of war, what's it worth to have them fight? Think of FE 5's Ralph. Think of FE 2's Robin. Think of FE 11's Maria. They are all bad units. But they are bad for a reason. Two are normal people, picking up the courage to fight the way they know how and defend what they believe in. Maria is a noble, but she's weak because she's a pampered princess used for hostage purposes in the story. She's a cleric. How is a little sister (who looks 13) supposed to be over powered, or on par with an army commander? Keeping everyone balanced and letting everyone have good growths and opportunity takes away what symbolism and realistic struggle the common fighter represents. Sorry for the long essay, but that's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.
  6. Sure, could be cool to see how IS handles it. I would really like to see how FE would operate in a Steam Punk Setting. Like, a Code Name Steam - Fire Emblem Exclusive. They already did something like it once (talking about code name steam here), so it wouldn't hurt. Mages? Easy. Steam based tubes have cylinders whose "element" (wind, thunder, dark, etc.) can only be controlled by certian peoples. It'd be a nice way to bring back the magic trinity, and get rid of the weapon... hexagon-triangle they have now. (It's stupid, in my opinion). If only they brought back movement stars and Leadership stars...
  7. -get-off-to-furry-pr0n- Talk to myself when writing a story or something. I need to have something collective in my head that I can visualize when writing or even posting some comment, and speaking aloud really helps me get to where I need to be. Although... sometimes talking to one's self in public can be emotionally scarring.
  8. Mine was getting arrested for little reason other than unfair speculation by the "Police Officer". I Blabed and blabed without realizing and fully understanding my rights (I live in "Merica"). I probably shouldn't have said that. Anway, a close second is necro-posting on this site. Wait. Am I safe to post this? (I'm scared)
  9. I'd love this! As we all know, Gaiden is the best game ever! #Bias
  10. I'm playing through the game again, and I wanted to make some children better. That's part of the reason I started this thread. The Delmud I had before I restarted had 9 base speed. I guess I'll actually promote Beowolf next time .
  11. Noted. Is the silver blade really that good? I thought that the weight made it less favorable that other sword weapons.
  12. Other than the persuit ring, who passes down persuit? (I believe it is mostly a class skill?)
  13. My Castle Adress: 05736-04090 - 83931-95588 Affinity: Hoshido (New Playthrough) Battle Level: Sacred Stones level Easy Castle Name: My Grotto Additional notes: Skills are not that good here. I just started. Special Request: Visting, not battleing, is encouraged. (Don't expect much, though) You can battle if you want to, it's not up to me what you do. Thank You
  14. Simply put, how good is Delmud from Fire Emblem 4 (I know he appears in FE 5 as well) and what is his potential as a unit? What would I need to look for when Pairing Raquesis/Lachesis in the first generation to increase his potential?
  15. Three questions: #1 - Are there Teir rules like in the Shadow Dragon Playthrough? #2 - Will you consider reclassing, if so, is Armor Knight-Cord an option? #3 - Swordmaster Horace or Archer Belf? (continued from #2)
  16. I guess suggestions are done and over with? I rate this team selection NoJulian/10. I guess I wasn't fast enough. :(
  17. Someone delete this post, please.
  18. I like the challenge. But I find it to be more fun if you just put in the characters, and allow reclassing. In that case, here's who I recieved as my team: Marth (obviously) Julian (Bias) 3: Elice 4: Macellan 5: Tiki 6: Astram 7: Palla 8: Linde 9: Doga/Draug 10: Midia 11: Roger 12: Tomas 13: Jake 14: Wolf 15: Radd
  19. Hardin is great. Drop Navarre, as his speed growth is reduced by the cav class growths. And if you want to use a horseman, Wolf/sedgar are great, but samson could make a decent one later on. I mean, those bases.
  20. Why is Renalt not on here? He used to be a mercenary.
  21. Yeah, Noah is pretty great. His supports with Fir and Karel make him seem like he has self esteem issues. I think he does. Anyway,, My vote went to sain. Cause... he's Sain. Seth and Forde are fantastic, Seth for soloing the game, and Forde for the painting.
  22. Ephraim. I'm really sorry, Ephy fans, but I HATE his guts. If he wasn't a main lord, I'd send him into a max-stats Demon king, with his little Reginleif. Good luck getting yourself outta that one, Gary Stue. Aside from MR. My-fight-or-flight-reactions-always-work-for-me-because-I'm-Ephraim, I like Eliwood the most. His story is sad, and I can relate to the guy. Lastly, Roy.... He Gets too much crap. Yes. His promotion is late. However. He has a sense of duty around him that is echoed in the words of those around him. Take for example, the supports of Lot and Deke.
  23. Bartre. All the way. If it wasn't for Bartre, FE 6's B route would have NOTHING. Bartre has a Grand Stache, and people need to respect it more. And his supports? Golden. I LOVE his support with Cath. If she wasn't so young, I'd Ship them. Sorry... Forgot that he and Karla are cannon. The others... are Ok. I almost always get wallace over Geitz, so he goes unused. Dorcus is a good character, but he's just... so.... crappy on the feild... Wade gives me shivers. Really. Lot? He's alright. I like that he has a 40% Defense growth, and the Lance-A-Lott Supports are great. Breaking the 4th wall like it's nobody's business.
  24. Wow. There is no love for Garret. Oh well. His design is neat, and his support with Lalum is freakin' great. It shows he's really trying to work his way into the world. Seems to me like someone just needs a hug. Anyway, Gonzales is my favorite of all the GBA Berserkers. I've not read the supports for Dart because I never used him, but when I do, I'll edit this response. As for who I chose, Dozla is one guy that always has a good time. I love positive characters in Fire Emblem. Just, if they go overboard... it's too much for me to handle.
