  1. I knew I heard my name. I can also confirm this is exactly what happens.
  2. I'd kinda like the idea of the amiibo units to be implemented as they were in Fates BUT, being given full access to story-related content, supports and such. Literally everything that they couldn't do as well as what they could. They're already established characters so writing conversations between each other and the new characters would be easy enough. For a way to include them fairly without breaking the game, they should give each amiibo unit a set chapter that scanning them can recruit them after. I.E Scan Ike before Chapter 16 and he'll show up with an occasional weapon, item or bit of cash to help you but scan him AFTER chapter 16 to be able to do a special quest to recruit him. As a bonus, because people didn't like lacking access to them, they could also have their join maps included as a Season Pass Bonus or a unique map set that could be used to expand on amiibo character features. I think that each amiibo character could give a nice selection of unique weapons and items only obtainable through scanning the amiibo (or the amiibo-based DLC if that's done) Sorta like their replica weapons in Fates but also weapons like the Regal Sword for Ike or perhaps Durandal from Roy. Maybe I'm overthinking these ideas on it but I'd like variety in my reasons for having purchased these amiibo, y'know? (And I still think it's Bull that Female Robin doesn't have an amiibo yet.)
  3. Y'know, I was loosely referencing Chrom's and Olivia's (I think it was B?) Support where Chrom says what I did, but YES! I should have! Oh, I've just thought of another one! Replacing the final attack on the last boss in whichever Fates Path you prefer to be substituted with Gregor performing a Dual Strike whilst yelling: "DO NOT FORGET GREGOR!"
  4. I get the lurking somewhat but that seems like an incredibly antisocial way to greet everyone. XD "Hi, I probably won't talk to anyone." Now I hope my playful banter isn't misinterpreted as an attack... I like reclassing units for silly reasons. Like wouldn't it be hilarious if Lucina was a Cleric during the buildup? Can't say I've been known to code but petting dogs is always nice. I'd recommend Path of Radiance at some point given your list of played entries. Enjoy your time here. The people are friendly and ready to help if they can.
  5. Marth and Navarre are probably my favourite choices there though I can see Takumi being my next favourite. If there wouldn't be a Smash reference between him and Marth though, I don't know what I'd do with myself. As for Navarre, I could probably see him having a conversation similar to things he and Stefan have discussed so that's cool too. Atonement I hope we get more than the whole amnesia prospect. I feel would be the easy way out... but yeah, my interest is piqued enough. I'd totally play your outlines here.
  6. I second this notion. Thanks again for my copy by the way, dude. It's been a blast (when I've not been playing Xenoverse 2 for like 3-4 times the duration I've played this). I'm cool with waiting but I really want it now... Eh, I don't really have any need of entering but it's not like I can't ask any questions right? If you were implementing Ike, would you use his Ranger and Lord classes as his base class and promotion with his Hero and Vanguard classes as alternative costume options from the start? (Ranger and Hero both being available from the get-go with his promotion unlocking both Lord and Vanguard) or would you have his classes defaultly from one game and unlock the other game's costumes via History Mode battles? OR Would you make his class line just work as: Ranger -> Hero? While I'm still on the subject of Ike, I may as well ask who you'd have him converse with via supports. At least of the existing FEW cast. And as for the story's crossover reason, how would you want it to go? I felt that what we got in FEW wasn't really an explaination compared to at least Dynasty Warriors Gundam or Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3. I feel guilty about asking so many questions now... =/
  7. Did you look in the correct tab for it? For example, the Amiibo characters are all kept on the 3rd tab. Did you update the logbook with the appropriate unit? They're the only things I feel might be wrong with what you're trying. Everything else should work fine.
  8. Male Corrin to Awakening so we can get a freaky dragon hybrid. Nobody else curious on that?
  9. Robin: "HERE'S HOW IT'S DONE!" Mark: "?????" How about Tibarn to Awakening? It'd be cool if we got a Laguz alongside the Taguel and Manaketes.
  10. Alright, I'll bite. In no particular order! Ha ha! Yes! It will take some getting used to! - Fire Emblem Awakening It Doesn't Matter - Sonic Adventure 2 Devils Never Cry - Devil May Cry 3 Friends Forever - Pokémon X and Y As for my reasons behind them: The sheer power this piece had over me when I first heard it was enough to hit me with a hard case of feels. Since I was just getting into the franchise at the time and was playing as I'd deem casually cautious. I first heard it not due to an S Support, but because of the fateful cutscene after Chapter 13. It still hits me if I put it on now and I find the melancholic side to it oddly soothing. There's just something about the carefree nature of this song and how it fits with my more social side it's a great pick-me-up if I'm in need of cheering up but it also helps me think back to a simpler time when decisions were fueled by desires and not by needs. In addition, it's Sonic's theme and it's just packed with the energy I had when I'd spend endless hours in a good mood playing through the game and enjoying life. You know, if I'm honest, I can't actually think of a detailed reason for this one. When I listen to it, it gives me the feeling of a duality between anger and regret. Hating something and wanting to change it, or hating that you did something and having to live with the consequences. Given when it plays in the game itself, it's easy to see why it has that feeling but I think everyone can connect with the message it gives off. It makes me feel like both, the strongest and weakest man alive, both at the same time and that is a feat. Back when Pokémon X and Y launched I was about as excited as a dedicated Pokémon fan could get. Since this was just conveniently around the time I'd gotten my 3DS, with Awakening and since X and Y were the primary reason for me getting my 3DS, I tried something different with how I approach new Pokémon games. Rather than learning everything I can before the games hit, I let myself see about 3-5 things total. Now, before you ask what that has to do with it, let me explain. Everything about X and Y felt to me like I'd only just set foot into the world of Pokémon, I was naturally excited to explore and see new things. Because I made certain I'd have as little information possible when starting the game, I was surprised at how the group of friends felt like regular flawed people that grow from their mistakes. Each of them had a different goal yet they all strived to be the best version of themselves that they could. The reason it's probably my favourite Pokémon Song as a whole is because it represents both growth and reflection which X and Y were a stage of for me. This specific song was always played when those characters were reflecting on how they've grown since they started their journey and part of me just connected to that. I'd have liked to have provided a 5th but I honestly couldn't really think of one. There are songs from gaming soundtracks I like outside of these of course, but I typically don't hold onto the whole OST so tightly with my memory unless the whole soundtrack has been as impactful as these have. Anyway, I'm tired as hell so I'm going to bed.
  11. Bayonetta 1. I got stuck on something and just stopped playing for ages with the intention of going back and doing it after I recovered from that buildup of aggression. I came back after about 5-7 years and cleared it. THEN I proceeded to forget I did that and loaded the file fully prepared to deal with what I was stuck on but didn't have to. I was confused for about 2 weeks. Now I at least know I've finished it. XD
  12. Sorta varies, I like different characters for different reasons. Lucina for overall character and a tiny bit in the way of play style. Owain for how freakin' hilarious he is and his exchanges with characters associated with him (particularly his tag special with Lucina) Navarre for how smooth and lethal his play style is to me. Caeda for having the most overpowered personal weapon in the game.
  13. I'm an adult?! This is news to me! O_O (I'm 25 if you need my age for reference)
  14. This is news to me and I've not had the chance to hear it. =/ I'd like to rate it myself.
  15. This in a heartbeat. Even worse is that my hair gets thicker than it does longer so while it grows, I sweat, regardless of temperature. Personally, I prefer mid-late October. Small part because my sister's birthday's on the 16th so I get cake, but largely in part due to the consistently comfortable temperature for me.
  16. I want the Black Knight, preferably with a Zelgius alt for obvious reasons. I'd like to see how Sakurai and his team could do the whole commanding presence he brings to the battlefield that evokes fear in opponents at all times. It'd be cool to actually see him kicking ass, taking names and duelling interrupting a duel that Ike is involved in for his reveal too. Plus, it'd be awesome to see him facing the one character I want in that outside of a few silly variables, Dante from Devil May Cry. It'd be equally as awesome to see them fighting each other as it would with Ike and the Black Knight. (Damn, all these thoughts are really making me want to see some of these reveal ideas...) Lyn is one I sadly don't see happening (due to having already been revealed as an assist trophy) and regardless of whether or not that'd matter, I think that ANY of these listed characters would make fine choices and be fun or interesting to play as.
  17. That's the angle I was coming from basically. Starters tend to have this thing I'm going to call 'Black Sheep Syndrome' where there are 3 different options for something but 2 of the options are ridiculously more popular than the third. Gen1 had Bulbasaur Gen 2 had Chikorita Gens 3 and 4 didn't really have anything because the starters were all loved equally. Gen 5 had Tepig as I remember by popularity. Gen 6 had Chespin Gen 7 has Popplio Or at least this is my observation. The other options each generation typically lead to arguments. HOW DOES HE KEEP GETTING MORE ADORABLE?!
  18. In addition to this, Rowlet doesn't surprise me because of the fact that Gen 7's all been about shoving it or Litten's family in everywhere. Rowlet's freakin' adorable. Surprised it hit higher than Eevee though.
  19. Just out of interest, what about if you've been on a very long break from playing it and still can't be bothered to finish up the endgame chapters just one entry?
  20. If it helps, the only other instance of any of the kids showing up uses their default hair colours, gives an in-lore explaination for how it was done and fully changes their identities (for some reason). Of course that's because following up Awakening and using 3 of the kids means they have to find a way to change things withut upsetting people's pairings. Which is nice that they cared but they could've tried a little harder with the reasons for the identity changes. Honestly, I don't see why they couldn't just import the Awakening Data via a small app or something but I digress. Otherwise, they do a great job of keeping the fathers of the characters entirely unmentioned so don't worry about it too much.
  21. Kanto: Gym Leader/Elite 4 Battle Johto: Champion Battle Hoenn: Bicycle/Berry Blender or Rival Battle Sinnoh: Champion Battle Unova: Accumula Town Kalos: Legendary Battle, Friends Forever, Rival Battle or Champion Battle (Seriously, I can't choose one between them) Alola: Gladion Battle And for a few bonuses Orre: Rider Willie Battle Anime: XY&Z
  22. My best guess is that in the cases of the units forming around them, it's a defensive line and in cases where they're further up front, it's that they're leading the attack. Or at least that's how it's likely represented. Though I don't think Corrin's a mandatory deployment in Fates but I sadly can't remember.
  23. If anyone's still wondering, Awakening's Spot Pass for Shadow Dragon's listings kept the European names, though funnily enough, I'm fairly sure that characters that refer to Bern from Blazing or Binding Blade refer to it as Bern as opposed to Biran which it was localized as (despite the fun fact that it was still written as Bern on the World Map in Blazing Blade AND that the Map screen referred to it as Bern as well). Yeah... Elibe's something of a mess...
