You might enjoy this: https://youtu.be/GWisFh-SK-w?t=2m1s I know that you just praised his intelligence and I do agree (especially with how quickly he got through the book that Maribelle loaned him) but watching him singing at the start of one of his supports with Cordelia just makes me think he's going around stating the obvious which is pretty fun in itself. On my original playthrough, I never actually managed to use Virion so his supports went up due to the Barracks for me. Looking at his supports, with the Avatar he shows that he has a very keen perception on why certain people are in certain roles and at the very least I appreciate that one detail about him if nothing more. Props to Gangrel on that. You can't have a wedding banquet without the food. I think out of all of these, I've only seen the last two and maybe Cherche and Gregor. Getting most of these'll be something to do when I get up later on. Thanks. =)

If two entirely seperate Base Classes share a common Promoted Class and the character gets access to the Base Class that they don't have by default through Marriage or Friendship Seals, then merely being in their own Promoted Class that is shared with the newly gained Base Class will net the skills they didn't already have. It's to get Base Class skills if your Promoted character switches to a Class but might need skills from a Base Class basically. I'm sure I could have probably explained this better but it's 5AM and I've only realized due to the sunrise. XD

I didn't see this topic floating about anywhere (nor do I remember seeing it) and was just having a look through my support log to see if I could find something and came to the realization that a discussion about favourite supports seems absent. (I only checked the first 5 pages admittedly so if there is in fact an identical topic floating around then please go ahead and merge them.) In any case, as the title states I want to know everyone's favourite support conversations and why you like them. No limits on answers but I do want at least one that's made you laugh and one that speaks to you on a personal level. Maybe just for kicks throw in your personal favourite line from any support you enjoy. This is just for fun so cut loose and have a little fun, people! (^o^)/ I find Morgan!M and Lucina to be a rather bittersweet one. Like their respective parents they're essentially two sides to the same coin. Lucina's woes are pretty heavily touched upon with the strain she feels from the very burden she carries. However Morgan's own problems just seem to merely grant him a peace that Lucina truly yearns for. I really appreciate how this little dynamic works with Morgan unintentionally upsettting Lucina and making matters worse for her. He comes along later and tries his best to make her feel better which ultimately ends up working. I really enjoy Morgan!F and Owain if only for the fact that she very openly takes complete advantage of him and he's just completely oblivious to it. In a similar fashion I enjoy Morgan!F and Inigo. Though you get to see her tormenting a floundering Inigo she also displays a very caring personality in her dedication to keeping an eye on his future dates to make sure no one robs him blind again. I think my personal favourite line in any support is from a conversation between Avatar!F and Basilio when Basilio is asked what she's supposed to do with the flowers he gave her and he hasn't a clue so suggests eating them.

I'm literally picturing this scenario with Lissa and Lon'qu as a pairing just because I want the supports between her and Owain. This is priceless.

This is a topic I've actually thought about somewhat but never really came up with ideas for. I'd definitely like to see a hack that does this though. Anna: Her child is just another Anna. Awakening Child Anna could be a Merchant to give players access to an otherwise unused class and Fates Child Anna could be something incredibly different to traditional Anna associated classes like a Diviner or a Troubadour. (Alternatively they could be switched to maintain the classes present in the game already) Gaius: I could see him having a very soft-hearted daughter (also a thief) that sneaks Gaius' candy to nearby villages affected badly by the war effort as something of an apology for the trouble they've caused. Vaike: Since Vaike himself is usally very loud and... Vaike-ish. It'd be a nice counterweight if he had a quiet son that enjoys reading and is the furthest thing from Vaike as you could expect. A Dark Mage would go well the fact that he's very angry at Vaike for claiming to be the best warrior out there and dying in battle. He took to reading for coping and it just stuck with him being a somewhat gifted mage all around. Kellam: So you remember how I just did the whole thing for Vaike just now? Yeah. Kellam's the complete inverse. His daughter would be a very noticable and very rowdy Cavalier that just loves getting into a scrap, often betting money on herself in brash confidence. Priam: Honestly, I could see him having a son with a very Ike and Greil relationship to him. Perhaps mirroring it to some degree as a further nod to it. Definitely would have to be a Mercenary.

I more often play on Casual but this is basically how I feel. But if we're talking Casual mode, can we not do what Fates did and actually have a penalty for the Lord and/or Avatar dying? If I screw up, I still need to be considered a failure. I'm not gonna feel any level of satisfaction if know I outright haven't accomplished much because my Lord/Avatar can just go unused entirely.

When I saw the name of the topic the first thing that hit me is something like this. She acts as one of the cheerier and more fun-loving characters but I'm sure it's just a front for how scared she is and is really just a distraction to avoid looking back on some harsh realities she's had to deal with in her life. Tharja, Donnel and Vaike all share a support or two with her that shed a bit of light on why she might want to hide her feelings. Whilst she's not the first character I'd find appealing regarding characterization, she's got a unique way of dealing with things and is most likely there to help relieve stress from the tired troops or provide an occasional nugget of wisdom so I can't really fault her for that.

My best guess is that unlike Nah, Corrin is half of one of the most powerful Dragons in the franchise's lore. So Corrin may subconsciously be able to better manipulate their body based on their thoughts and emotional state. If you remember, this is first done against Hans after he pushed Gunter off of the bridge across the bottomless canyon. Why the clothes/armour changes to accomodate seems to me like it's just the dragonstone warping them to accomodate the bodily change. My best guesses anyway.

I'm not seeing Dark Knight, Wyvern/Dragon classes, Assassin, Halberdier, Shapeshifters and I'm sure a bunch of others are missing too. At any rate, Dark Knight for me. I love a balanced utility between Magic and Melee but I also like the Movement benefit of the mounted class.

What do I think happened in it? Too much death... So much pain and suffering... The lack of any and all hope... Life was nothing more than torture and despair... The tales of a hero stepping forth and freeing them from the chaos ultimately turned out to be false... nobody stepped forward and the world was left to ruin. Nothing remained but the crushed hopes of broken corpses and the ruins of a beautiful world... Sure, Anankos saw the aftermath of Grima's defeat but is that really justice for that future? The people that would lead the restoration of the world disappeared never to be seen again... Imagine having lived in that hellscape... I couldn't have dealt with it...

I think that there should be an equal amount when doing something like gender locking classes. For example, always have a counterpart class to balance out certain classes. I'm not saying to do it like the Priest/Cleric setup but more like how Males can be Barbarians and Females can be Pegasus Knights in Awakening. Just keep the numbers even. Maybe have certain characters that actually have access to a unique class not meant for their respective gender but only 1 character per gender as opposed to class. But that's just something of a niche idea I thought up on the spot just now.

Not really a question now but that seems really cool. Kinda makes me want to face off against a faction comprised of customs.

Do you think a custom officer feature like the ones from the Empires and Xtreme Legends entries would work in FEW? I'm interested to see what kinds of ideas you might have for it.

He's more like Roy in Smash. (The fact that nobody this notices irks me) He hits harder than Marth and is still pretty quick but nowhere near as outright strong as Ike. He's able to jump around more easily than Ike and has a nice balance of speedy and strong attacks to make him a varied fighter. And since Lucina learned from Chrom, should be pretty well the same here... ah well...

I'd like to hope if they do add more characters as DLC, the packs will come with sets of 4 playable characters instead of 3. Just to give a little more for people to play around with in the meantime, y'know?

Not commenting on Best or Worst per se, (I don't have a rating system) but I always found Aether in Path of Radiance to be pretty ridiculous with how good it is, and judging from what I've read Eclipse is pretty cruel too. Though Eclipse largely seems useless because nothing really stands up to the Black Knight anyway.
