Thanks. Yeah, I knew there was no way a paintbrush can have enough moving room to do any detailing there, so I made sure it had enough contours to let natural lighting do the job instead.

Speaking of next time, what if every entry had its own thread, and the gallery thumbnails led to those instead of a Disqus? That way only 1 image will show up in the gallery per entry, but the thread itself can house additional pictures, and you get to keep the random order feature of the gallery.

Have you tried Krita? https://krita.org/en/features/highlights/ It is similar to Photoshop, but more focused on drawing than editing. When I tried it I really liked its brush stabilizer. It also happens to be free. There are people doing comic pages with it

Oops, didn't mean to sound like I was ripping on you guys or anything. The waiting is hard but I know some things can't be helped, and right now there is nothing to do besides chewing the fat. This is obviously too late for this time, but when I do group projects we share stuff over google drive. This way anybody can pick up the slack if someone is out of commission. I don't know if it's even possible to do so with a contest, but it's a thought. Is he really having it this bad? Sounds serious if he has been out for this long, and should definitely worry about his health first.

From my experience you do want to push a little bit. It will give you some space when it is time to retreat. Giving the enemy too much space too soon will end up costing you room to maneuver by the last turn and you might end up losing a unit right before the chapter ends. Maybe go beyond the wall just 2 or 3 tiles, it will probably depend more on how the chapter plays out. I never recruited any children units either so maybe you have more options.

It's been a while but I remember Nyx manning the fire orb to the left, and then heading off to that wall to kill off the foes on the other side before they break that wall, then just stay barely out of range to keep killing them. She would leave the orb at a specific turn through trial and error, but with the help of that wall there she pretty much held the entire side by herself at least until near the end. Meanwhile I had Silas and Niles go to the far right, and choose carefully which turn to abandon the ballista and go for the kills. I remember abandoning the ballista pretty early. Meanwhile Corrin and Azura would tank the bottom right corner of the center wall, while Effie and Arthur tank bottom left. I don't remember anyone using the center ballista at all. When Camilla and her retainers arrive I had her retainers go support wherever necessary while she went diagonally down and to the right, near Oboro, to take care of any Pegasus fliers that bypassed the walkways. After the Dragon Vein activated, slowly retreat back to the goal tiles, timing carefully (and probably through trial and error again) to not die. Edit: Oh, I think Elise was the one who picked up the left side loot at the very beginning before anybody needed healing. Camilla would have been the one to have gotten the loot near Oboro, while I think it was either Effie or Camilla again who got the bottom left loot. Silas could have easily gotten the top right loot on his way to position, or just have one of Camilla's retainers do it.

It's excruciating waiting for the gallery, but then I remember people who submitted in February have been waiting ever since, and I feel better.

I don't know if my Odin was getting screwed by the RNG or what, but I actually put in effort to train him and still needed to give up him. Nyx ended up being my go-to magic attacker and was more durable than Odin too, somehow. Arthur was benched as well, but at least he proved himself useful in the chapters I had him, removed gamble as soon as he learned it and he was good to go again. Arthur got benched when better units showed up to fill the roster, Odin on the other hand was actively removed because that's just how bad he got in my lunatic run...

Ugh I wish there was a way to turn off just the title theme, or at least choose an instrumental one. The rest of the music is too good to mute and the broken English every time I start the game is killing me.

I had meant to finish my work today to see if I could do it within the old deadline, but apparently I broke it, so now I am actually going to need the extended deadline. I am real thankful for that now because I don't know how many more additional hours I am about to need from attempting to fix this before I can keep going again. On another note, this thread seems to be taken off the forum announcements. Was it set up to do so at the old deadline? Should it be "re-announced" to stay on the top of every forum until March 5th?

I always find these discussions bittersweet. Every so often you hear some good ideas, then you remember none of them matter because the game has already been shipped out in its shit state.

Do you guys think this guy's tights is see-through or just dark brown? They look ambiguous across both games, and the Tharja figure cannot be relied upon because they could have been working around the limitations of PVC.
