  1. My memes are ironic and my depression is chronic.

  2. First things first, as Hoshi said, you'll have to decide on what you want-do you want to make a super hard game? A remake/demake of an already existing game? Just a fun hack? That should be your first goal, after that you should study up on hacking and FEXP to decide which is best for your project. Playing other people's games is the best way to decide, but generally, hacking is easier, but more limited while FEXP is harder to use, but much more moddable. You can just wait for the official FEXNA release as well, it's supposed to be better than both hacking and FEXP. After that, it should be easy to get going. Also, consider making a reskin as a first project.
  3. "Gets rid of the tutorial". I can do that in two minutes, christ. I don't think you did any research at all.
  4. Wolf skills: Wild Fury: If HP below 50%, engage in another round of combat by both sides. Moon Howl: If HP below 20%, summon two more, weak, but speedier wolves.
  5. FE4 looks boring and memeless, how do I experience it?
  6. I just always thought that Peg.Knights are the type of person to show off and get a killing streak and someone slaps them and they fall into hysteria and try to fly the frick away. And Glide is just for thematic reasons.
  7. Oh, Peg.Knight skills? I got you. First Aid - Non-battle skill, heals ally for Skill/2. Birds of a Feather - When near ally Peg.Knight, gain +5 avoid and +5 hit. Rivalry - When near ally Wyv. Knight, gain +10 critical. Glide - Same as Canto. Golden Goose - Lessen the price of items by 10%. Fragile Pride - +5 critical and +20 avoid when near-death. Purity - Heals nearby allies from poison. Angelic Grace - Dodge one attack that would normally kill you. Inertia - When unit has used up all its movement and attacks an enemy, gain +Speed/3 damage. Turbulence - When attacking another flier, Skill/3 chance for them to be unable to move on their next turn. Also, Villager (not sure if that's a thing) skills: Witch Hunt - +10 hit and +Skill/2 damage when attacking female magic users other than the religious ones. Hard Worker - Damage cannot go under 1. AKA, they will always deal at least 1 point of damage to the enemy.
  8. So I tried turning Rapier into a light tome and technically, it works, but when it is used in battle, it doesn't show any animation. I used the Custom Animation Editor and set the Unarmed/Rapier ranged animation to Purge, but it still doesn't work, the mage just does her thing and the enemy magically loses HP.
  9. Ow, my head hurts. I'll have to make myself a chart if I want to join, rip me. And also, I agree, Attack does look like it gets more things going for it than Defense.
  10. I'm planning on making a FE8 inflation/plot replacement crossover hack and have Guinivere from FE6 be the Eirika replacement. I was wondering if I should make her use light magic and the Lilina/ Mage Knight animationsor or if I should make her a Trainee with a split flier promotion? In both cases she'll look kind of generic.
  11. So instead of that weird boss I made, I got a way better idea for a boss: A mysterious young man ( maybe woman?) who travels around the world and wreaks havoc. He appears in one main chapter and a few gaiden chapters, often being the person who causes conflict between the player and the enemy for his own goals-his actions build a sidestory of some sort. His special ability won't be shown in the main story. His ability is imitating others-in the gaiden chapters, he'll randomly appear, go through a promotion that changes him to the Boss' class and he'll maybe try escaping, killing the boss, killing the boss and taking his place, etc... His base class uses the Male!Thief/Pupil? sprite and is called "Chameleon" or "Enigma". In his final appearance, he'll imitate the Lord character and all of his mysterious actions will be revealed, a lot of characters could have a reason to want to kill him, he could be behind some bandit attacks in character's backstories or something.
  12. I see. Then how will multi-piloting work?
  13. I feel so trashy now, wow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXKIdyDWJTg
  14. Aww, I missed my chance of signing up. Oh well, I'll just hope it goes well so I can join later. Anyways, since I've only played SRWJ, may I ask how you'll handle warships and more unusual robots such as the Evas from Evangelion?
  15. Woops, I don't have the time for the robot pilot girl, here's a weeaboo one instead which also heavily references DDOP. Oookay, I'm biting. PrepareforthecopypastefromArulle.png Name: Salphie Class: Enigma - A mysterious person shrouded in mysterious mysteries. Bio: A mysterious woman from a different dimension. Clumsy and irrational. Often adds random Japanese in her sentences. Portrait: Literally Farina, but with grey hair and purple armour. Enemy Secret Mini Boss Lv: 10 Hp: 14 Str: 2 Mag: 0 Skl: 27 Spd: 26 Lck: 12 Def: 1 Res: 0 WEXP: E Sword Weapon: Masa Munni - Just an Iron Sword with 20% Critical, a Mani/Sol Katti icon and a description. "Some call it retarded - others cute. " Personal Skill: Heartless - Luck% of a Critical that ignores Defense. Enemy Spawn Condition: No idea, maybe add her as a secret boss in a Gaiden chapter that appears in the middle of the fight, finishes off the default boss and takes his place? Spawn: Nani? The battle has already begun!? *pause* N-O-T F-A-I-R! Boss Defeat Quote: S: Oomph, I didn't want to lose this early...
  16. Um, could you please give us more info regarding the project itself, the story, gameplay, themes... A palette template would also be helpful to people who don't understand them.
  17. I'm working on the portrait of a character from a classic Japanese robot anime, expect her these days along with sprites of her robot.
  18. A very simple and easy recipe for a refreshing banana and avocado mash. INGREDIENTS: - A banana. - An avocado. STEPS: - Peel them both. - Absolutely destroy them by mashing them together. - Eat. It's tasty and my mom often makes it for me.
  19. 1. Is it bad that I'm kind of addicted to ponchos? 2. Is it a bad that I kind of like early 2000s fashion? It was just so dorky and awkward, I can't seem to hate it.
