  1. I am slowly but surely making progress on getting my guys up. My current projects are.. As for Jalter, I got 122 Quartz saved up. I wonder if my Mysterious Heroine X luck will come into effect and nab me some SSRs. (Thing is, I considered her as a bonus as I was mostly trying for Saber Alter and maybe Nero at the time...) After Jalter, I guess I may try saving for Scathach if she appears before the Summer Banners, and then try for Summer Artoria since her NP spamability may be a thing. However, there is Prism Illya shortly after summer, and I would like to nab Ishtar and Merlin in the winter. Decisions, decisions...
  2. I'm the type of person who reads the plot synopsis before I get into things because I enjoy figuring out how everything connects instead of being elated by plot twists, so spoilers are not that big of a deal to me. I guess to clarify what all happens I need to actually finish God Eater 2 Rage Burst, so thanks for the heads up! For my actual progress, I did unlock Blood Rage, but I am still just on Rank 8 for the difficult missions. This was when I was obsessed and marathoned God Eater last year when I played the entirety of Resurrection and then jumped to 2. Needless to say, I got burnt out and ended up shifting over to Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. It didn't help that I enjoyed Resurrection gameplay a bit more due to the devour types and seemingly better AI, but I do have fun with 2 when I play it. * * * * * To stay on topic and update my list... (I am never going to have enough time to play all of these, am I?) Upcoming Titles: Fire Emblem Switch || Octopath Traveler || Earth Defense Force 5 (US Release) || Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain || God Eater 3 || Code Vein || Mount and Blade: Bannerlord || Valkyria Chronicles 4 || Monster Hunter World (PC) Wishlist: Dragon's Dogma Sequel (or a western release of Dragon's Dogma Online)
  3. Danganronpa is an enjoyable series. While I haven't played it myself, I have been watching a Let's Play of it and I'm currently on V3. I hope you have fun with the series and its despair inducing moments!
  4. Wait, what? I know in all the marketing the Fenrir HQ collapsed, which I think was located somewhere in Europe (England I think?). I never read anything affecting the Far East Branch which is where the majority of the cast is. Then again, I never got around to finishing the 2nd half of Rage Burst (the Burst portion of the storyline), so is that where it happens?
  5. Because I feel like putting two songs today... = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
  6. Another Grima, this time using F!Robin? Sure, I'll take it. I always liked both Robins and I like that Grima is being included. However, I am mostly indifferent about the rest of the unit selection which puts a damper on things. The only new desired unit for me would be Zelgius since I already have all the heroes on the bottom row. I could probably use better natures and the merges, but nothing is there to get me hyped.
  7. Aside from Fire Emblem Heroes and Fate/Grand Order, I messed around with Shadowverse and Gems of War (mainly on PC, but they have mobile versions). I do not actively play those two games anymore since I have plenty of other games vying for my attention, but I found them to be fun. Shadowverse can essentially be described as "Anime Hearthstone" since the game mechanics are very similar (they are both collectible card games). I enjoyed Hearthstone but grew disillusioned with how Blizzard operates, so I just hopped over to Shadowverse instead. One thing I liked about Shadowverse is its story mode. While nothing spectacular, it is voice acted. I was surprised to see the VA for Sakura from Fates (Brianna Knickerbocker) play one of the characters in Shadowverse. I picked up Gems of War because it reminded me of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (and it is by the same people). It is a matching game, but gathered gems generate mana for your forces to use their abilities while matching skulls deals damage directly to the enemy. That is pretty much it as I never got into the PvP side of things (I never managed to finish all of the PvE). So, if you like matching games with a hint of RPG/Strategy, try out Gems of War.
  8. Shame this game died before it could get anywhere, the original Westwood guys have horrible luck when it comes to finding publishers...
  9. In no real order... 1. Fire Emblem Switch 2. Octopath Traveler 3. Earth Defense Force 5 (US Release) 4. God Eater 3 5. Code Vein There's plenty of others, but these are on my mind at the moment.
  10. Oh yeah, when did the Personal Training CE become available in the Mana Prism shop? I guess it happened with the America release, but I didn't see any announcement anywhere. While I rather save for the Bond CE or Mystic Code CE, I picked one up anyway just to have one. * * * * * Also, I just finished the America storyline. It was all right and kept my attention, but it wasn't anything spectacular. I suppose it suffered from having too many servants and not enough time to flesh them out properly aside from the main cast. I guess my favorite is still the Prologue in Fuyuki, and this is coming from a man who started FGO without any knowledge of Fate whatsoever. (Since October of last year I marathoned through Unlimited Blade Works, Zero, Carnival Phantasm, and Prism Illya. I have to see that Heaven's Feel Part 1.) * * * * * I am definitely guilty of this. I think my reasons for enjoying Fate/Grand Order are... 1. It is far easier to burn all of my in-game stamina in FGO than FEH. (Tempest Trials and the like take a while while a 40 AP daily is rather short.) 2. There are less units to keep track of in FGO than FEH. (It doesn't help I like too many Fire Emblem characters, making it difficult for me to keep my roster small. Also, FEH tends to reward large armies due to Squad Assault and Rival Domains.) 3. Raising units in FGO is mostly by limited by materials and money (but events tend to negate this). FEH relies on Skill Inheritance which can be a pain due to the RNG and possible feather consumption. // An exception to FGO is the NP Levels of SRs and SSRs, which relies on luck or whaling. 4. The story in FGO is superior to FEH, even if things like Septem exist. 5. I am still not happy about the general increase of power of new heroes in Fire Emblem Heroes ever since the CYL. Sure, it is a relatively minor thing and one should just play for favorites, the fanservice, and the fun, but I can't ignore it.
  11. A new Warriors Orochi game, eh? I definitely want to try and pick it up, especially if there happens to be a Switch version. I enjoyed playing WO3 Hyper for the Wii U (although I am bummed that Ultimate is the best version, much like the whole Hyrule Warriors Legends thing and its reboot for the Switch. I think Warriors games love to release multiple versions of the same title instead of just updating the base game...) I never got around to trying Samurai Warriors 4 or 4-II since I think those are mostly Playstation titles. I enjoyed my time with 3 and with Chronicles (my first ever Warriors game), but there are so many other games to pick up and play.
  12. I'm still working on my Orion, but she took a backseat so I can focus more on Nobu. Having 3 Fragments of 2030 makes me really want to build some teams that focus on Crits, and Nobu is fairly good for that due to her Demonic King skill. // But yeah, hopefully I'll have Orion be level 90 and be at least level 6 in all of her skills before Camelot. I also need to raise my Euryale as well who is just level 40... * * * * * Bond Points take forever to max out. Georgios is getting close (8.5), and once he does all that is left for him is to get him to level 90 (and eventually 100 if I can ever spare those 5 grails).Tamamo Cat is at 8, Herc and Santa Alter is at 7, while Tamamo Mae and Artoria are at 6. Hopefully I'll be able to get these guys up before the finale of Arc 1.
  13. Placing this here because of the Visual Novels.
  14. Watching the NA Livestream was a mistake. 50 minutes in and we are finally getting somewhere, but I feel like I was better off just catching a vod and passively listening to it...
