  1. From what I remember, Elincia's Gambit and chapter 14 from thracia didn't have many similarities between each other. Thery are both defense chapter, but that's it. I could be forgetting something tough. Btw, I've got that feeling too and i really like it, It's one of the main reason I loved that chapter. Also, there are other things that both of them had: - both of them had two mini bosses(in Thracia there was the generic boss general that will charge at the beginning of the chapter and the wyvern rider that will appear as a NPC with his squad; in Conquest, there are Oboro and Hinata) -both of them had two wyvern units that joins at the same time, with one being absolutely more useful than the other(Dean being better than his sister in Thracia; Camilla being better than Beruka in Conquest)
  2. The game looks amazing and seems to be fun. I wanted to see at least one dungeon tough. Or there was, but I haven't noticed it?
  3. I would say Laslow's personal skill is the best: 1 point of speed can be realy useful and can make a difference between to double or not double or even not get doubled by enemies.
  4. I really like the twin maidens, but I prefer the ninja twins, especially Kaze, who is fantastic both as a character and as a unit for me.
  5. To be honest, Sigurd felt OP only in the the two first chapters(Prologue, chapter 1); later in the game, he will be surpassed by the other units, altough he will still be useful. Or maybe, I was just unlucky with Sigurd. Anyway, I would like a lord kinda like Eliwood or Hector: starts weak, but becomes strong later in the game, tough not enough to finish the game by himself(I'm looking at you, FE9!Ike). Mainly because it gives me a feeling of satisfation to see how the lord became so strong thank to all the efforts I've put into him
  6. The hardest FE in normal difficult is probably FE5: heck, some chapters mighty give you hell from how much difficult they are. And yes, I'm referring to you, chapter 4 and 4x. However, Conquest can be a challenge on normal too.
  7. About Anankos: It's not that he went mad just because the Vallite hated him, but the fact that they were the same people that everything they had now was thanks to him. I mean, It must have been a really hard hit to see something like that, especially when you wild instict just begun to came out. Then again, I just freaking love his dragon design and his backstory. Btw, one thing I didn't like about Fates was the lack of anti-turtling: in nearly every chapter, you don't have any reason to rush and you can just go very slowly. I'm not asking for things like chapter 12, but at least for something simple like a thief stealing a chest or powerful reinforcements, if you take too much time. Ah, and for Nergal: wasn't implied in the game that he became evil because his thirsty for power made him forget what he truly wanted to do? Or I'm saying things?
  8. I find pretty hilarious that Iron sword and Javelin are in the top ten: to each his own, I guess. Btw I'm happy to see Forseti, considering It is my favorite weapon in the series.
  9. I too think that the Souk Caliber gameplay style woukd work better than SF with FE. However, I would like to see a FE fighting game with the style from Dissidia, because why not
  10. My favorite swordmaster from the GBA games is Karel, without a doubt: in FE7, he is different from the others characters in the game, since he joins you only because he wants to find new powerful opponents, has a very dark backstory and an interesting characterization. In FE6, however, he is a new man: he is now a kind, old and wise man that cares about his nephew and his brother-in-law. Joshua and Rutger are very close to him in the ranking tough: the first being both an awesome character and a great unit; the other being a misterious character, who is also a very good unit.
  11. The problem is Julius wouldn't be able to die from a Mjolnir because of the Loptyr tome, wbich he brings always with him. So, I don't think It would be and besides, It is showed several times in both FE4 e 5 that they love each other(heck, It's probably the only thing left from the old julius) and, because of this, she would prefer free in secret the children rather than kill him I think that the problem isn't about Eldigan, but his family. We all know that, in the past, it was the royal family that has the Hezul holy blood, but the younger daughter of Hezul himself, who had the major hezul holy blood, fell in love with the prince of Nodion. With this, the Nodion family would begin to inherit both the blood of Hezul and Mystetlain, which they could use onlt if the swear an unshakable loyalty to rhe royal family. My point stays in these last words: Eldigan's parents probably made him to think that he should be loyal to Agustria and his king, no matter what happens and who is the king, just like their predecessors did to them. But maybe I'm just making things.
  12. Yeah, he is acting with a great confidence towards Unicornis: perhaps he could be the sixth foreteller and perhaps he is the real traitor. Well, the deck command wasn't present in the trailer and won't probably be in the complete game too, so I don't think there will be any other magic that isn't Blizzaga, Firaga, Thundaga or Curaga.Btw, when Terra arrives, It looks like the scene in Cinderella's castle from BBS. Maybe I'm thinking too much about it.
  13. Well, for what we know, she had probsbly tried to convince Sumeragi to not bring their son/daughter with him. About good mothers, I think Eyvevl needs to be mentioned: she took Leif and Nanna under her wing and she also probably knew that the empire would destroy her village if his soldiers found out that Leif was there.
  14. Edit: My apologies. I didn't want to do a double post
  15. Man, the more I see about Back Cover. The more I get excited about it. Also, while BBS 0.2 looks pretty fun, I don't like Aqua's model, altough the world seems to be well done in terms of graphics, at least to me.
  16. Me too, I was quite disappointed to find out that they didn't use sword after PoR. I also miss the monsters: they weren't a challenge, but I loved their design and their animations were cool too, in particular in SS.
  17. - all the games of the series are good - Chapter 20 from Conquest is one of the best chapter in the series - The big maps of genealogy are fantastic - Arvis is an overrated character
  18. Arthur was one of my best unit thabks to the indane critical he got as a berserker + killer axe. Really, every enemy that tried to attacked him, just got one shotted or critted. Btw, Xander is quite slow, but he is so tanky that it's not really a problem wheb most of the enemy are enemy with physical weapon. Also, as a lodestar he can make up for his low speed with the skill that buff his speed of 2 points every time he kills an enemy. He can't take more than 10 points tough
  19. I belive people thinks of Raven and Priscilla as an incest pair because in one of their support - if I remember correctly - she mention that Raven, in their childhood, gave her a ring and told her that she would be her spouse or something like this. Btw, I would allow incest only if it was a part of the story like in FE4. Intead, if it's just something to satisfy some fans, then no. Just no.
  20. However, this was a japanese survey, so I doubt that they took in account the fact that It was released in America. Btw, I'm really happy to see Drakengard and Golden Sun, considering that those amazing games aren't very known.
  21. Lyon's father is named Vigarde. Btw, about Fates parents: I can't actually blame for what they did to the children considering they only wanted to protect them from the war. Plus, the parents also try to pass more time with their children. Anyway, I think a good father in the series is(don't open if you haven't played Revelations and Hidden truths 1 and 2) A A bad father in the series is Chrom, Lissa and Emmeryn'father: he begun a war because of his lust of power; this bought both Ylisse and Plegia to hate not only him, but also his daughter Emmeryn(at least at the beginning of her reign)
  22. Chapter 23 of Conquest has become one of my favorite chapter in the entire series. Yes, in the series, and for very good reasons: It gave me a feeling of pression and anxiety that only thracia was able to give me and made sniper more dangerous than they were. Also, I was quite impressed from the dialogue between Corrin and Xander: maybe bbecause behind the " justice don't exist" thing, there wss done thruth after all
  23. Does anyone here have Counter for Niles? EDIT: Also, thanks VincentASM for Midori with tomebreaker: It will surely help her a lot.
