  2. well guess powercreep and new skills reached a point where i cant clear the Abyssal Map with the Askrtrio and Veronica sadly 😕
    All units are either way to bulky due to new skills they use (hello lull skills) or too fast or a combination of both for the Askrtrio to handle them (with their refined weapons)

    I really need to go balls deep into this one with Dragonflowers Summoner support and skills -_-

    AR match up isnt based on unit merges or skill points, its based on your rank.

    52 Atk = 38 Atk + 4 Asset + 10 Mt

    That 52 Atk is too low to reliably activate Heavy Blade in my opinion. For comparison, Cordelia can reach 59 Atk.

    59 Atk = 35 Atk + 3 Asset + 14 Mt + 7 Life and Death

     

    having lowish attack isnt bad for a galeforce unit it prevents them from one shoting targets and it allows to dodge chills and the buildings (if she also has low SPD) which is good, while you yourself can boost her attack with buffs or debuff the enemy attack with Ruse or chills or Ploys or smokes, 52 Attack is plenty pre buffs and debuffs.

    Legendary Marth also has crap for fodder. Having three exclusive skills just naturally comes with the drawback of having fewer inheritable skills, and that means there's a lower likelihood of having any standout skills among them.

    Furthermore, Legendary Leaf also has 3 exclusive skills with his S Drink. And if you say that's not exclusive, then Radiant Aether also can't be counted as exclusive to Legendary Ike because it's also on Valentine Ike. (Also Ragnell and Raijinto while I'm at it.)

     

    Disabling percentage damage reduction from skills "only if the opponent has a skill affected by it" is not a conditional effect. No more than Sirius healing you "only if you do damage" or Ice Mirror adding damage to your next attack "only if you have another attack to make during this round of combat".

    1. Marth had desirable fodder when he was released, and the statement of it being a Breath Breaker still stands
    2. S Drink as you said was allready present on regular Leif, so not exclusiv. Legendary Ike is really an old Legendary unit by now. And Radiant Aether is present on Valentine Ike with no Alondite together duh, while Raijinto is only present L!Ryoma with Bushido.
    3. Its still conditional, The special does the same damage, the only condition is if it ignores damage reduction which is conditionally based if the opponent uses a Special or a Skill to reduce damage. Its add effect is conditionally, its just based on the foe's skill set.

    Twin Blades will be inheritable.

    There are far more examples of uninheritable Special skills than inheritable ones, and all uninheritable Special skills are third tier skills. We've only gotten 2 non-staff third tier Special skills post-launch that have been inheritable: Blue Flame and Ruptured Sky.

    Thats not my reasoning, my reasoning is that she is the first Mythic Hero that comes with an exclusiv weapon and 2 exclusiv skills. We havent had that at all (ecxept for Marth but his exclusiv skill is just Breath Breaker basicly and thats years ago). Beside the fact that she has  no desirable fodder option, so i firmly believe Twin Blades will be inheritable.

    Besides the line I am talking about have secondary conditional effects:

    Blue Flame (Bonfire, Glowing Ember): Secondary effect being adjacent to an ally
    Ruptured Sky (Draconic Aura): Based on opponents ATk, secondary effect if foe is Beast or Dragon bumps that up to 40%
    Twin Blades (Glacies, Iceberg): Based on Res, secondary effect disables damage down reduction from skills (not specials)

  7. wow the powercreep is strong with this one. Meistersword effect and DC in one(two) weapons. There is now no excuse to not introduce Distant Counter Weapon refines.

    Looks like she is the perfect Vantage offense sweep unit if her Attack is high enough and a direct counter to Thrasir B!Ike and Duma if you field her with Naga (due to Nagas C Slot). Time to field the Hardy Bearing Ophelia and the Reinhardt back onto Anima Defense Teams.

     I am glad she cant benefit from Anima Blessings herself ¬.¬

    Could simply be a matter that they're not doing as many previews as before, kind of like how they've barely even advertised FEH Channels this year, as most of them have just been dropped without prior warning. I see no reason for Book 4 to be held off since we just got its transitional chapter this week (like how the Surtr/Ylgr banner was the transition chapter between Book 2 and 3).

    in regards of FEH Channels: its better to be surprised then to announce/hype one and then be dissapointed. The ones we had this year by surprised would have been very dissapointing for the content they announced if they would have been announced. I mean usually they go 15 min long and that dumb owl manages to squeeze in maybe 2 things in that time...

    Good to know about Nagi. Ophelia always seems to wreck me, so it will be nice to have a real counter to her. And I'll have my own F!Tiki right along side Nagi on that particular team to help out with a F!tiki if they have one. I've put Vantage on my Tiki and it seems to work well on her.

    Be careful there are alot of Dragon effective Damage weapons on AR Defenses, fielding 2 Dragons at the same time might not be good.

    Besides if you really want an Ophelia counter now is the best time:
    Pulse Smoke is fantastic to deal with any kind of precharged Infantry Team
    Witchy Wand is fantastic too

    Brunnya looks a little underwhelming at first glance, but considering her weapon I think she may just be the best unit in the batch.  The most meta-relevant, in any case.  Once she has access to merges, she can hit 58 Hp and 52 Res during Light season with no summoner support assuming two Eir on the field.  With summoner support, she becomes immune to even the highest level Panic Manor and Tactics Room.  Even with just one Eir, 53 Hp and 47 Res before buffs is still very respectable.  Of course other blue mages can hit similar numbers, but the weapon makes the difference here.  Being essentially immune to stat debuffs is huge in AR, and she'll likely be soaking at least one of them to activate her weapon's omni+4 effect.  Unlike just about every other super tank, she can't be crippled by Veronica, doesn't care about a dagger unit moving first and ruining her defenses, and can safely ignore those debuffing structures.  

    If I didn't have so many high-investment grail projects already, I'd have to seriously think about merging her up.    

     

    Veronica is usually not the biggest threat in most cases. I would agree with you if the opponents Defense would be made up of only mages, but Brunnya will suffer against Melees and will have a hard time. A proper Defense will allways have 2-3 melees during Light season.

    And during Astra season... welp Thrasir will put her down just because even if Brunnya can ignore debuffs, Killing intent also activates when she isnt at full HP and weapon Triangle disadvantage. Brunnya sadly lacks the firepower to be a playerphase unit and while she can be a very good mage tank she lacks the Ability to check Physical units.

    For now, I think you should just Light Bless Ike, test him out (maybe just slap Drive Atk and Drive Res in one of your units) and check if you think you still need F!Robin on Light.

    a proper built Ike will outshine any Tank on Astra Season until an Astra Mythic with Res boost arrives. He just needs a proper built.

    Lloyd's fucked unless they upgrade weapons that already were part of a weapon update. I could see them doing that, but requiring you to spend Divine Dew again on them. For instance, Death Blow 3 and Fierce Stance 3 as the unique refinement effect for Frederick's Axe would have been neat, but instead, they flip-flop between effective damage being a free effect or not. Mage knight Eirika and L'Arachel on the other hand have a chance at something if and when they are part of a weapon update.

    welcome to Gen4, where every weapon or weapon refine released pre Gen3 looks like garbage.
