  1. From what I've read elsewhere, they may not have touched the Codecs because Colonel's JP VA died, and Kojima retired the character rather than recast him. They probably could have done new ones with the other characters, but I guess they didn't want to.
  2. Obviously he felt bad that Severa didn't get a trophy in Smash 4, so he graciously allowed her to take his place.
  3. Sorcery Blade has a 3 as part of the name, so it shouldn't be locked to Ylgr (PRF skills haven't had multiple levels yet), though what the restrictions are beyond that we obviously don't know yet. As far as Sylgr goes, it also works when she's attacked, so it's a combination of Swift Sparrow and Kestrel Stance with a condition on it.
  4. SS4 inflicts CD charge -1 on foes, same as Guard but with no HP requirement and only when the unit gets attacked. I expect they added it so that the T4 stance skills are an actual alternative to Breaths. Edit: Assuming inheritance restrictions don't change, it also gives cavalry and fliers something they can use, since Breaths are still locked to Infantry and armors, and are probably still superior in most cases.
  5. Also Dawn Suzu, with armor effective, cavalry effective, Attack +3 and Hardy Bearing.
  6. Thanksgiving 'event' seems to be New Years 2017 banner, minus Musashi/Ishtar/Kintoki/New Year CEs, plus Raikou/Shuten. Also getting 1/2 AP dailies, and interludes for Scathach/Iskandar, but no GSSR banner (probably got moved to New Years due to the backlash over the one last year missing Mordred/Jack). We're also getting a bunch of UI updates (though still no Back button). I'm not entirely sure why Kintoki is being left out of the banner and interlude party though.
  7. Ah, right. I had the 'and' after Nero writing the post, but then I forgot about him while I was double-checking MHX's Interlude requirements.
  8. As far as JP goes, Altera, MHX, Orion, and Nero tie Gilgamesh with 3 interludes each, while no one has more than 3 (that I can find, not counting Rank Up quests).
  9. Strictly speaking, that doesn't actually change what I said, it just removes the option of picking a Friend Support. The Story Support will still often be a bad fit for the quest, you just don't have a choice to forgo it. I did forget to mention that though. ...We should probably mention that you can move the Support Servant slot to the back line by hitting the 'Line Up' button at the bottom of the party screen, and then dragging the servant slots around to reorder them, since it's not really obvious. Only helps if you can field a full front line of 3 servants, but still worth mentioning.
  10. Only thing I'm really hopeful for is something from Dragon Quest. Personal preference is the Slime since its so iconic of the series, but really anything would be good. Other than that, I'll probably be content with w/e they put. I've never been too stressed about what characters they decide to include or not (though the Belmonts were a pretty hype inclusion for me).
  11. To get PP for free for a physical copy, you need to register the game for Gold Points before the promo end date. The registration happens automatically with EShop purchases IIRC (and possibly Nintendo's website, though IDK about that for certain).
  12. There were 4 actual new characters released as DLC for Smash 4 (Ryu, Corrin, Bayo, and Cloud), and 3 returning fighters (Roy, Mewtwo, Lucas), as well as 4 new stages and 4 remastered stages. Compare with 5 new characters for Smash Ult, since no returning fighters can be included this time, and 5 stages. Less overall, but more actual new stuff (admittedly, not by much). This is ignoring Piranha Plant, as that's not part of the Fighter Pass.
  13. Cost is always a limiting factor for team building. It's one of the things limiting people from just throwing 5 star everything into a team and steamrolling. As I don't know what servants you have (so I don't know what you'd consider a full party) or what level you're at, I'm just going to link the Master Level chart and you can look it up (NA currently only goes to 130): https://fategrandorder.fandom.com/wiki/Master_Level Do make sure you're rolling in the Friend Point Gacha for 3 star servants and below. The servants there are cheap to field, and some are very useful. It'll also help you to fill out your counter-classes (to a degree). If you find the event too difficult, you can always take a break from it and farm XP cards in the dailies to level your servants. Regarding your thoughts on Robin, a lot of the time the Story support (the blue highlighted support that gives 200 FP) will often be a poor pick for the chapter. Not always, but they're usually underleveled and weaker than just picking a Friend support.
  14. They could have had the design done for something else that never happened, and then used it for Brave Veronica instead.
  15. Canas, as the TT reward at the end of June. If you mean last mage released into the summoning pool with a generic tome, that would be F!Morgan back in March. In general, I think they need to stop introducing units with PRFs when it doesn't make sense. Karla and Flying Nino really didn't need PRF weapons, IMO, and having so many PRFs pushes people to expect them for even more units.
  16. Currently, there is a chart depicting the combinations of element and stat bonus (I think the official JP twitter posts it from time to time, but I'm not sure). There are 16 combinations, so naturally people have assumed that there will be 16 legendary heroes. Despite the fact that it makes no business sense for IS to stop making legendary heroes just because they need to start repeating element/stat combinations.
  17. There are only 2 dancers on this banner: Fly!Olivia and B!Ninian. B!Sanaki, S!Tana, Sumia and F!Grima are not dancers.
  18. On paper it'd be about as useful as any AOE special build. She has a 'Blade' effect to quick charge the CD on Storm Seiglinde, and Lunar Brace would make it hit pretty hard on those in range (L!Eirika's Atk - foe's Def + (.5*foe's def)). Those with low defense already get hit hard by it before Lunar Brace, and those with high defense actually take a fair amount of damage because of Lunar Brace. It'd probably ensure that the main target dies without countering (barring Vantage), and the rest could be mopped up by the rest of the team, or she can be danced. You'd want to change her A slot to something that is effective out of combat, though, and I'm not sure it'll work as well as other AOE builds due to the lack of out-of-combat CD reduction that Wrath or Special Spiral give. Probably more useful for PVE than arena, but that goes for a lot of builds.
  19. Lunar Brace has the same wording as Wrath, which means it should also affect AOE specials. I'm not sure how much use that'll be though, since L!Eirika can't use Special Spiral and Lunar Brace increases the CD. It's an interesting build idea at least.
  20. The stuff I pointed out is more from English heraldry than FE. FE localization only co-opted the term. It's always kind of bugged me that the dragons are called wyverns when they aren't actually wyverns, though at least it fits better with the Awakening/Fates dragon mounts than the old dragon mounts. Wyverns are a kind of dragon, but dragons are not always wyverns.
  21. Aside from the actual gameplay differences, the Magvel wyverns are actual wyverns, that is, they have two legs, two wings, no arms and a serpentine body, compared with the standard dragons in those games, which have four legs (or two legs and two arms, if you prefer), two wings, and a more lizard-like body. I think Awakening was the first time the standard dragons were more wyvern-like (Awakening and Fates dragons have two legs, two wings, and a lizard-like body).
  22. Isn't this full NP5 Shuten vs NP1 Illya? I mean, it's still impressive, and Shuten's higher NP gain means more NP spam, but I think not including the NP levels is somewhat misleading.
  23. Severa had more votes than Nah, and should technically be first on the Awakening second gen (2nd overall for Awakening, Panne still scored higher than her). The creator of this refuses to count time displacements due to being in multiple games as separate characters, so he ignores Severa because Selena is in the game.
  24. Not going to comment much on this, but I'm pretty certain Link's Awakening has always followed the events of Link to the Past. It was released following LttP, and the Nightmare transforms into enemies Link fought previously, including Agahnim and Ganon from LttP.
  25. Do you mean when she heals (if you have support animations turned on)? Because support staves actually have different sprites from the attack staves, and show up during support animations, and both Serra and Mia have Recover/Recover+. She definitely always uses the Witchy Wand when attacking for me.
