Not sure how bad we're talking about so I don't know if all of these fit but I always try to use units like Tine, Arden, Nyx and Mia (in PoR).

The original Visual Novel is good. I haven't played FGO myself but from what I've heard the story gets good when Nasu (the writer who wrote the original story) started writing again. Additional stories like Fate Extra/Fate Apyhcrophyca tend to be good, bad or in between.

Problem here is that we don't play through these events in Awakening while in FE4 we see how everyone in FE4 Gen 1 slowly dies and their children's lives get worse. What makes FE4 darker than other games in the series is that we actually play through the darker aspects of the story.

The one map that comes to mind when I read the title is the Christmas FE Revelations map. There's other maps as well like that one map in BB where if you weren't fast enough your units got stuck or even the map you play after you get Sophia or ch. 24x in Thracia. Still, the Revelation map still annoys me the most.

I really dislike the "x character cutting her hair shows that he/she is going through development" trope. It's so overused >_>

Stories that are that dark don't fit FE imo. They're also really damn difficult to pull off in video game format and the only director I know that managed to handle really Dark stories very well is Yoko Taro.

I've seen you quite a bit on this forum and while we've never talked you seem like a good person and really trans or not the way I see it that's all that matters. I see. I think I'm starting to understand what you're saying a bit better. I think part of the problem is that there are more people in power that happen to be religious that also happen to have anti-LGBTQ+ views. A lot of religious people will use religion as an argument to stand against LGBTQ+ people. Of course anyone who really is religious would know that that doesn't make any sense but nonetheless it has been used as an argument against their rights which makes it somewhat difficult for the two to combine when a lot of LGBTQ+ people have been hurt by these people. -Are you claiming religious faith is bad for society? No, I have a problem with religious people that use their religion as an excuse to hurt other people but I absolutely don't believe that religious faith is bad. I'm very much for their freedom of religions, and people that are against that bother me just as much (a lot of people tend to show very islamphobic behavior in my country and I call them out just as much). I hope that makes sense. -Its very simple. I spent a lot of toe in religious debate circles and I’m not lying when I say 95% of them felt they were better than me because of it and I can only explain so many times why I never killed a Muslim in the crusades before I had to put that safeguard in place. Those people are idiots. I don't believe in any religion myself but I don't have a problem with anyone's belief and if you're really tolerant and believe in left leaning ideals then you should support both religious and/or LGBTQ+ people.

I find your post honestly somewhat confusing because you're talking about many different things. You don't like LGBTQ+ allies because they don't like religion? I mean I'm gonna be honest, I don't like religion and I think it's overall caused more misery than good and I'm very much left and stand with LGBTQ+ people. I recognize that the message of the bible is positive but I think that many people who tend to read the bible ignore these messages for their own toxic viewpoints. And I'm not sure what you're saying with the kids part. I know someone at work who has a son that used to be a girl and that boy knew as soon as he was 10 that he wanted to be a boy. The boy never had his innocence stolen as far as I know. I don't know where you live but normal left leaning people don't force their children to become a certain sexuality.

Never played the rpg mario series so I can’t say much about the quality of their games but it’s always sad to see a developer go under. Top taste. Hilda is best Stella Glow girl and has best ending.

Finished every 3H route + completed maddening. Church route was really boring for some reason so at the end I sort of forced myself through it (Perhaps no surprise there considering I've spent 450 hours playing 3H according to my Nintendo profile) Perfect timing too, I got a call today and tomorrow I can finally go and get DQXI and enjoy the everloving shit out of that game. ------------------- Oh and we're october now! Month of the Witches and other cute stuff! And here's the cutest one of them all!

The only way I can see someone arguing that this game has better villains is if they consider Rhea or Edelgard villains (I don't) and even taken into account some of the subtle storytelling in regards to TWSITD they're disappointing villains and could've been so much more. Between BK and DK I'd say it still depends, the Death Knight might get redeemed with the DLC while the BK loses some points with how the developers tried to portray him with his RD characterization.

It's called the church route because you work in service of the church, Setheth and Flayn are your "lords" of sort in the church route. The reason the CF route tends to be called Black Eagle route is because it features everyone from the BE house. Also, hard disagree on your notion that the characters don't fit the BE route. I'm doing the Church route now as my last route and I thought that the way the BE students showed up felt really shoehorned in. Ferdinand and perhaps Caspar is the only one I could see showing up at the Academy. I'm doing the church route now for the first time and the BE students haven't even said anything after they gave me gifts. They were just standing there like zombies while Byleth talked with Setheth and Flayn. Doesn't seem like a very BE kind of route if the students don't even talk. It took until the end of the next chapter for them to talk.

I never liked Peashy.

That one wasn't actually that difficult. I just made sure to ignore the right bottom side part of the map while I went to the upper side and kill the units that transform before they had the chance to.
