I'd like to think that the reason Marth is put next to the Brave winners on the CYL2 site after the votes got counted is that they recognize what happened and will also make a BMarth.

I'll go with Eirika. I quite like her story and character, she's a decent unit and also my first female MC.

Why are you trying to differentiate "best" and "strongest" when Anna and Alfonse don't use the word "best" anywhere in that quote? They only call him the strongest hero. They already went out of their way to portray Ike as the strongest in Awakening so there's nothing wrong with what Anna and Alfonse say.

The kid is also quite manly when it counts if his conversation with Lachesis in chapter 5 is anything to go by.

This is my favorite FE Heroes manga chapter. It always manages to put a smile on my face. Yup, getting a villain to join your party is always a lot of fun and is also interesting for story reasons.

The way I see it Veronica got a lot of votes after the mid votes because people realized that she stood a chance and that if she managed to beat Camilla she would get in the game for sure. It's no secret that a lot of people want to have her. Oh and let's not forget that not everyone who plays Heroes has played other FE games so these people probably gave a lot of votes for her as well.

Julia got 146th with 1.749 votes, which is a lot better compared to the previous CYL. Congratulations Julia! Anyway, this CYL was quite the surprise in some ways. Celica grabbed first spot which is something that surprised me even back when we had the mid votes but that's not nearly as surprising as Veronica beating Camilla and grabbing the second spot. Mind you I don't actually mind that. I'd be interesting to see what a Brave Veronica will be like.

I played PoR first (and RD immediately afterwards) and I like Ike. He's probably my favorite lord along with Siggy. Micaiah I mostly feel indifferent to. I wonder if part of the reason people who like Micaiah and play RD first also has something to do with the portrayal of Daein in RD and Micaiah's allegiance to her country. Daein wasn't exactly put in the best kind of light in PoR and some people might dislike her for siding with Daein.

Used 80 orbs so far and managed to get Gunnthra, which is nice, she's the only green unit I really wanted after all. I'm still really hoping I'll get RDIke with TT Orbs, Anniversary orbs and all that other stuff.

This is the first time I have multiple 40% characters, I have Fjorm (duh) PAzura and I just pulled Guuntra. So this is going to goo smoothly.

Ah right, that does make sense. I've heard about how there's some odd skill translations here and there.

Like shun one pointed out, in the RD banner trailer you can see that you can't inherit Zelgiu's personal special and skill.

Dragon teams are going to get even deadlier.

RD Ike is going to get killed so many times for his Radiant Aether and his A skill. Poor Ike. Yeah, same, I'm also worried that most people will just vote for a character they like and not a gameplay effective one.

I think I'll go with Hector. He's popular enough that he'll get a lot of votes, is a very good unit and even if those don't work for you he's good DC fodder.

Yeah, I actually hoped something along those lines as well but I take what I can get.

The tap button game is weird though, how do people feel about that?

- It took me multiple FE games till I would actually bother using the weapon triangle - I let Edward and Leonardo die on my first RD run thinking they weren't worth training - When I played my first FE game, FE: A, I failed to recruit Tharja and Gaius and I only realized you could recruit characters by talking to them when I saw how popular Tharja was and how many people used her and I didn't have her in my roster.

You know reading your post makes me wonder just how big/small the divide between female/male FE players really is. I remember a lot of tumblr posts around the release of Fates where female gamers shared their adoration for some of the male characters. I just think that at this point there should be a decent crowd that would love to have a groom banner, I'm sure. Not everyone dislikes those designs, some people genuinely like fanservice female designs. Oh and for the record, I'm not one of those people, I like some fanservice here and there sure but I don't want to see too much of it in my FE games.

So that's that.

Poor Myrr got just released and the Falchion units are getting buffed. I've gotta say though I'm kind of Excited for Caeda's winged sword.

Glad to see we're getting the winged spear winged sword. I really hope they make Caeda's winged sword just as good as it is in the game. So give me a sword with the thani effect please, Caeda deserves some more love.
