  1. Nerfed pair-up More map objectives than just rout and kill boss nerf the tactician ability that give 50% more exp. Design some actual difficult/challange into the lunatic modes instead of just buffing their stats and giving them broken abilities. i.e. different enemies and different enemy placements would have been neat.
  2. Because of all of the defend maps, He is actually pretty easy to train up in LTC play. And that 40% growth is quite good on him. I always think of his voice as a slightly less gravely Popeye. LOL
  3. They are jealous of his waifu I think he is popular for the same reason that some really bad movies become popular. Although he isn't bad in either of his games...
  4. One of these two should be able to kill the sword guy on the right with a dance (Nino needs a decent amount of buffs to up her damage; 4 hits from Klein with the atk+1 seal should be a KO) and then kill the green valk on enemy phase. You will need reposition or draw back to pull the dancer to safety though. If they can't kill the sword guy or they can't survive the green horse, you can just have them agro the enemy by attacking the sword guy and then when they are danced you retreat with them while pulling the dancer out of harms way as well, Nino already has draw back, Klein would need to inherit reposition or draw back. After getting the enemy to agro, you should be able to clean up from there. I would think that Klein, Nino, Karel, and any Olivia would be your best team. Or go with Effie over Karel if he can't survive. Good luck!
  5. I specifically mean a rotation of the rarities in which characters appear. Right now, Minerva for instance is 5* only. If the mixed things up and made her 3 and 4* available and took her away from the 5* group but took someone like Barst or Bartre and made them 5* only, I think that would be a good thing. Possibly something like 3 month cycles.
  6. That's funny, I just watched this before coming here. That reversible sleeve in the game case is pretty sweet. Every remake ever made of any game from now on should have that.
  7. I don't know how much you have seen of/played melee, but Smash is so much more fun and satisfying when you can land certain hits or grabs and just know that you scored yourself a kill well before you even land the kill move. Or even just racking up 50+ damage in one combo. Real combos, without any 50/50 bull crap. Melee's only real flaw is that it existed before online updates. After 15 years, every character gets fleshed out completely and the gap between the best and the worst is pretty extreme. And don't worry. Smash will never reach the level of MvC.
  8. Ok, I've never really had any trouble getting into the top 30,000 in any season. For people that struggle to crack the top 100k, you're totally right. When I only had two or three 5* units, I found ways to make them work and get wins. Despite their sub-optimal natures. Anyone who can't get a 7 win streak or score more than 4500 points really shouldn't blame their bad natures. They just need to work on their strategy. The A.I. really isn't that hard to beat.
  9. Along with bumping the 4 and 5* exclusives down, they could raise some of the 3 and 4* only up to 4 and 5*. That way we can get access to some 5* though pulls that are only otherwise obtainable by promoting right now.
  10. For the past few weeks, the difference between 4700 and 4800 has been like 30,000 spots. So even just improving your score by 20-30 points can take you up quite a bit. It's not so much replacing a character you are already using with a better one of the same weapon type. If your team is having trouble with Reinhardts and you have no good green mages to deal with him, you might want a Nino to deal with him. However, a -Res Nino will still get 1HKOed by Reinhardts so there would be no point in training her up. Or you only have no ranged attacking units on your team and neutral and +spd Takumis give you hell. A -Spd Nino would be useless for dealing with them but a neutral or +Spd would be able to do what you need them to. Another example is you have a +spd Marth and you really want a Lucina because Marth misses out on getting some key double attacks. If you pull a -Spd Lucina, she would be useless to you because she is unable to do the one thing you needed her to be able to do had she been +spd. Again, Spd is going to be the most coveted stat that could make or break a unit. If it is a unit that doesn't rely on doubling or Brave weapon damage output, then the Nature doesn't matter all that much.
  11. The thing is that everyone uses the arena every week, and everyone wants to score as high as possible. Unfortunately, some Boons and Banes make heroes not worth replacing ones that are already on their teams. Especially when they would otherwise be huge improvements. The majority of the time when it matters a lot is when you really want/need a +Spd to be competitively viable and you end up with -Spd. Especially when the the variation is a 4 and a 3. A difference of 6 or 7 in Spd is a big deal. A good example is Takumi. Before I got some really good counters to him, +Spd (36) always gave me a ton of trouble because I had no one who could 1RKO him, but -Spd (30) were fairly easy to deal with because I could kill them much more easily. Another time it matters is when getting -Atk on Brave type weapon users. It ends up being a difference of 12 or 14 points of damage (24 or 28 if you are doubling). When a heroes sole niche in the meta is being able to Remove threats without facing a counter attack (Cherche, Reinhardt, Klein) and a -Atk prevents them from doing that, then yeah, they become essentially useless. Although skill inheritance has made it so they can at the very least pass on what makes them good to other heroes who can take advantage of those tools.
  12. both Sain will have inSain Str. Lowen is basically an armor knight on a horse.
  13. Melee mechanics. With the largest cast of characters/stages/content ever. This would be a really neat idea, but only if actual combos returned, a la melee mechanics. I can agree with this. But the balance doesn't matter when it's boring to play and watch. That's why melee mechanics need to return. Make it much more hyper offense focused and balance it by making the bad characters better at doing high damaging combos.
  14. Umm, this is called a PMU (pick my units). Not a draft. Use Lowen.
  15. um, 4* Peri can give threaten Def 3... and Glimmer if you want it.
  16. I don't think there are any completely useless units in this game. I could be wrong, but I think every unit has some sort of unique or useful skill they can pass. It just depends on whether those skills are useful for you or the teams you're looking to build. Oboro for instance has the pretty useless seal Def at 4* and Threaten Res at 5* but she can give rally Def at 3* so I hang on to a couple of her but i send home the excess ones. And Donnel has the drag back B slot skill at 3* and Hp+5 at 4* but those skills aren't that great to me so I only hang on to about 2 of him. Obstruct and pass are two really useless skills, but everyone that has them has other really useful skills.
  17. I finally pulled Ryoma last night and the best part was that I got two of them in the same session! And one of them was +Spd -Def. I'm so excited because he was my #1 most wanted hero. Now all that is left from the Hero Fest banner is Azura...

  19. I'm no good with computer stuff, but how long has it been since you used Dolphin when it worked fine? Maybe you have downloaded/ filled up your computer with a bunch of things that would cause it to not perform as well as it did in the past? Maybe try to delete some things that you don't need or want anymore.
  20. This. Chances are that the other 3 were crap. Just imagine if you had picked 2 of the other 3 and you got 2 crap heroes and that Ryoma and Hector had gone to waste.
  21. There is a "Quadsuna" build that uses LoD on +spd Setsuna (40spd) with a Brave bow. Her Spd is so high and LoD cancels out the -5 Spd from the Brave bow so she is able to 4x attack most of the meta with the Spd +1 seal. With that +5 Atk from LoD and a short charging special she can do major damage. The same build can be run with +spd Olwen (37Spd). She isn't quite as fast as Setsuna but she hits 38 Spd with the Spd +1 seal, and she attacks Res which is the lower defense stat of most top tier units (and everyone runs -res on their units). Both are extremely dangerous.
  22. I also got a Klein when he wasn't a focus hero. He is great. Got the +atk -spd Boon/Bane which is the best imo. Klein wants the Attack +1 seal more than Frederick. It's effectiveness is double due to his Brave bow. I think reposition is the best overall but drawback and swap are better in certain scenarios. For instance @Anacybele you might want swap on Ike instead of reposition
  23. I know it's not just BST but I'm pretty sure it still tries to match you up against roughly the same average Lv. Just try doing what I said. It should make getting wins significantly easier. As i've seen other people say before, you really want at least 1 ranged attacker.
  24. Try bringing a Lv1 hero with your three best 5* heroes. Preferably a dancer. I'm serious. I'm not sure if the update changed it, but in the first few weeks I did this and I would get matched up with really weak teams. Usually all around Lv30. Sometimes 2 Lv40's and 2 LV20's. And once in a while I would see the same as mine, 3 Lv40's and a Lv1. Basically the average Lv of my opponents teams would match the average Lv of my team, give or take a few. In most cases your opponent will only have 1 or 2 real threats that you need to deal with. If you don't have a low leveled dancer bring someone with a rally skill or some other way to buff your heroes who will be doing the killing. It should make getting a 7 win streak really easy. Your score will be rather low but you should still be able to reach 4000 for those feathers. Even if you don't like using mages i'm sure you like winning more, so if you have a good mage just suck it up and use them to get some wins (unless you have a good bow/dagger user). Having only melee attackers can make things much harder than they need to be.
