Serenes Forest's Teehee Thread

I was kind of using my eye infection as a reference point regarding your ear infection... given the closest reference point I could think of that I've experienced.... and what I immediately thought of. -

I can't help but wince a bit at the thought of that. Last time I had an eye infection, I literally had to wear an eye-patch for a couple weeks while it healed. If it left lasting damage, I imagine it was quite a bit worse. -

I mean.. it was only exacerbated by the fact I had a bad reaction to one of the antibiotics it's not resistant to. Hopefully these ones work better. Should know in a week. -
I... what? I guess Kaga is the first person to ever reclass to a fish dragon and self-insert into a series he created but isn't involved with. I imagine Miyamoto is jealous.

Finally worked out what was wrong with my tonsils. Go figure the bacteria was a rare type that's resistant to most anti-biotics. So Now I'm on something it won't be resistant to. Some personal emergencies have largely kept me off the computer this week (which sucks because it kept me from working on my LP)... but I was able to work on the FE1 Switch release. Which I finished with a bang. -

I don't know. Last time I had a girlfriend it was from playing Shadow Dragon in public and not paying attention to my surroundings. My point is, I think I get the most attention from women when I actually ignore them... which is a hard tactic to pull off on a dating app. Have you tried the "wins by doing nothing" method yet? -

Hey guys, I just found out that the government dun goof'd and deleted me from the tax register by accident. Should I worry about getting reinstated or should I go tax-free like Al Capone? -

I bothered on warping Draug to one chest (the one with the seraph robe). I said to myself "the chest in the top right corner isn't that important". So I focused on getting everyone else through to cut off the other two. -

I'm still on chapter 7. But the biggest "surprise" so far was realizing that thieves now destroy the contents of chests rather than taking them. Which means I have to use a different strategy than usual if I want to get everything on a chapter. -

You know, playing FE1 for the first time (while I'm simultaneously working on that H5 Shadow Dragon run), I can't help but marvel at the differences. Merric certainly benefits a lot from the non-existent magic/resistance, luck alone determining magic avoid (when bosses have 0 luck), and the actual exclusiveness of Excalibur. Also coming in with a blizzard tome sure doesn't hurt either. Likewise, the different speed calculation benefits sword users and hurts axe users. The fact strength doesn't affect the calculation means weapon weight is more significant than it was in FE11. This is extra beneficial to someone like Draug or Roger, who can use an iron sword in this game to double opponents they usually wouldn't. Likewise, the single Weapon Level instead of multiple works wonders for characters like Cain and Matthis. Cain's ability to use javelins at base is a vast improvement... and Matthis having Silver Lance access at base helps make up for other statistical deficiencies. Speaking of Matthis, he also benefits from the randomized luck stat on recruitable "enemy" units. Where the likes of Navarre or Minerva risk having a "0" for their base luck, Matthis is unaffected by this simply because in Shadow Dragon he has 0 luck as a base anyway. So the potential of having anywhere up to 7 luck is only to his benefit. It may feel like an "easy mode" after everything I've been through... but I can't help but enjoy it. Even if the quality of life is... lacking. -
I finally did it. I'm up to date again. Now I need to sort out our Buttery friend's LP and get the next chapter of mine done.

I remember seeing a youtube video of this thing a few years back. What if they're working there? Actually no, Waluigi wouldn't pay. You know, when I saw the thread title, I totally expected this to be something where Facebook screwed you over in some disgusting way that reminded me why I no longer use the site. I was pleasantly surprised. -

My weights weren't cutting it anymore. Why do people want Namco to forbid the use of die? Do they hate table-top RPGs? All I hear is "Namco Ban Die" every time the company is mentioned and it annoys me. -
