  1. I found a video with clear audio on Reddit of Roy gameplay. Still, I can’t tell if it’s Ray Chase or not. Roy sounds a bit different
  2. YES! So much yes. Honestly, in the long run it would be pretty impractical. 4 stars and 3 stars getting such spectacle, the increase in the size of data to avoid picking favorites, etc. Despite these issues, I can't help but wish more were in the game. They really added to the splendor of pulling a rare unit
  3. Do we know if Roy's English voiced yet? I've seen people saying he is, people saying he isn't, and I keep seeing links to this one video on Twitter made by someone who seems to be a Lucario player. The audio in it is so cluttered that it's hard to be sure. Has anyone actually been to an event themselves and tried Roy or seen him, seen a clear video, or can be sure it's Ray Chase's voice in that one video?
  4. What was your first Smash Bros game?- Brawl Which Smash games have you played so far?- All of them What's your favorite Smash game?- Ultimate Who's your favorite character in the parts you have played?- Original: Can't remember. Melee- Mewtwo. Brawl: Sonic. Wii U/3DS: Corrin (and Miis) Who's your least favorite character in each part you have played?- Olimar What's your favorite stage in each part you have played?- Original- Can't remember. Melee- No idea. Brawl- Can't remember. Perhaps the Mario Bros stage. SSBU/3DS- I'm so used to FD Stages that I can't even remember. What's your least favorite stage in each part you have played? 64- Can't Remember. M- Can't remember. B- Hannenbow, iirc..... 3DS- That one traveling mario stage with the rotating bowser head as a platform. I DESPISE that stage. Wii U- No idea. What's your favorite music theme in each part you have played? - 64: No idea. M- No idea. B- The Main theme with the Latin chanting. 3DS- IDK. Wii U- IDK. What's your favorite mode in Smash overall? Subspace Emissary and Smash What's your favorite item? Assist Trophy, Smash Ball, and Ore Club What's your favorite taunt? - Up taunt. It's the one I always press when taunting for the most part. Specifically? Idk. Do you rather play alone or with friends? Friends What's your favorite free for one mode (time, stocks or coins)? Stocks. HP is a good time too. What's the perfect Smash battle for you? (stage, characters, items (?) )- No idea. Do you usually play with items? Only when I'm just playing to have a good time and not just trying to improve my skills. What has been the hardest challenge (events, all star mode...) for you? Ever since Master Core, Classic Mode.... I remember Boss Rush being a pain in Brawl as well. Are you excited for Smash Ultimate? Obviously If so, in what are you the most exicted for? World of Light and the Newcomers and returning vets In which new character are you the most excited for? Oof. Idk. I know I'm definitely going to love Ridley. Inklings interest me, but I don't know if they'll stick. Chrom might be fun. In which returning character (character who wasn't constantly in the cast since Melee) are you the most excited for? Pokemon Trainer or Ice Climbers. Maybe Wolf. In which classic character are you the most exicted for? Classic? I'm assuming you mean returning character who hasn't missed a game. I'm glad they didn't cut Corrin. What's your opinion about the Echo character? Please. No more Marth Echoes. That's all I ask. That and if a character has potential to be unique, don't cut them short of their potential. Other than that, i'm fine with them. Unless they bloat a series's roster leaving little space for unique characters, like with what happened to Fire Emblem. Any character you want to see in Smash, but hasn't made it into the cast yet? I have a wishlist. Click the link in my signature. In which videogame series did Super Smash Bros introduce you? So many of them. I'd say that Smash was what introduced me to many of Nintendo's franchises. Not necessarily enough to get me to play them, but to introduce me and stoke my curiosity. Have you ever built a stage? Yes. Could you imagine that Smash Ultimate that could become the final part of this series? No. Honestly I don't think Smash can ever be finalized. It's too important a game series. If Sakurai ever quit, Nintendo would replace him or create some sort of replacement that is all the same except in name. Have you ever played competitive? Um.... I've never entered competitions, but I am a competitive player. With whom can you go under Final Destination?- No one. Lol. Ive never tried. How much do you care for tierlists? 0 How would you describe your experience with the Smash Bros series in three words? Greatest Fun-derful Experience
  5. Player Interaction and Replayability. There's just so many ways to play Fates that it makes them so replayable. Especially with reclassing, children, choices of what to or not to do, seals, avatar creation, and other things offering so many possible combinations. I also liked having an avatar, even if it was handled in the worst way the series has apparently done so far. I love the Music too.
  6. If we get a Christmas Nino, my Orb hoard is DEAD. Why not Marth and pals? Or maybe even Jugdral. (I'd want to whale for a Christmas Reindeerhart With Deer-Thunder)
  7. I for one am actually SO happy they added this. In 4, you could only view random tips. There was no way to browse through tips in a sort of "tip library."
  8. Beruka. Have you seen how high her defense can get? She can trivialize physical enemies in so many maps. Especially if you gave her Guard or Dorcas's axe. If she procs Ignis? Chances of the foe surviving are minimal. Cecilia. She's always been great at dealing with any blue mages or color units that appear in PVE. I run TA, Bowbreaker (or Daggerbreaker), Gronnraven+, and sometimes Distant Defense on her. L'Ike, Fjorm, Brave Lyn, Veronica: PheonixMaster1. I'll leave it at that. Genny is another favorite of mine. Double Savage blow on top of her Gravity plus creates what I like to call an "Acid net" effect. It can be so, so helpful in a good number of maps. Michaiah: She's essentially blue magic oriented Beruka for me, and a pseudohealer. She's an excellent check for a good amount of tome units, calvary foes, and armored foes. Her Glacies doesn't hit as hard as Beruka's Ignis, but it still hits very hard.
  9. 1. A new Mother rep. Likely Porky or Ninten. (I'd prefer Gigue or Masked man myself) 2. A Three Houses rep or possibly a Heroes OC (I'd imagine Anna would have a chance as well) 3. Goomba 4. Musashi from Sushi Strikers 5. Anyone from the Grinch Leak who hasn't already been deconfirmed
  10. Indeed I am I wish the one Fire Emblem anime existing actually finished
  11. I want the Shove mechanics from Path of Radiance to return. Though it hardly makes sense given the focus on commanders over legions in this game, lol. I'd also like the PoR forge to return. I wouldn't be against Valentian the archery and magic systems returning, as long as IS keeps it in mind while designing chapters in order to keep the game and player's army fairly balanced. Second/Heart Seals were nice for trying something different. They aren't anything necessary however. I also really want avatar creation to return and be expanded upon. Skin tone, please IS, and better hair styles. Persona-esque support conversations for the avatar character. Class specific traits. (Best example that comes to mind is Blazing Blade. Many classes in that game had their own traits. Most involved bypassing certain movement restrictions (Pirates, Brigands, and Nomads), but some had other passive traits (Assassin's Silencer and thief's increased FoV in fog). Also, there's the obvious stealing and lockpicking). It could be interesting to see the mines and light runes make a comeback. Not too sure how well either would fit in a modern Fire Emblem game though.
  12. Skipping. I'm going to keep saving up for Legendary Marth. I have a goal of +10ing him someday
  13. She was the god to the Grimleal. She's definitely a legendary hero of the other side of history so to say
  14. INB4: We get Legendary red Omega Ragnarok wielding Celica next time. Alm fans don't get their legendary hero until 2020. (I really, really wish you all luck and that it comes sooner) Also, I'm pretty sure the "gender pattern" has long since been scrapped
  15. Not to mention Eliwood when Lyn and Hector got theirs early this year
  16. Sure, I'll participate. I'm hoping for several things. Firstly, viewing enemy stats. It bothers me to no end that this was excluded. Secondly, an option to have CPU controlled allies attack outposts. It always helps to take down ouptosts, but the CPUs always run right by them, and there's no option to have them target them. Thirdly, I want better weapon and movement type distribution. It bothered me so much not having a non-flying lance user. Sure there's dlc, but I don't have it and it would have been best in the base game anyway. Fourth, I'd like characters from the series in game and most, if not all, of the dlc to be included in the base game. I'd also like Darios who was supposed to be DLC or unlockable as playable but got cut. Fifth, Celica should have some dialogue changes to match her Echoes self. No touching her support with Anna though, developers. That's all I can really think of for the moment. If the game gets a sequel, I either A) want it to include more characters or B) just drop everyone from the first game and focus on different ones. I'd be happy with either, as much as I'd miss some characters from the first game
  17. Regardless of whether this is true or not, this leak has definitely been very entertaining to follow. I feel like this leak is probably accurate, as the evidence supporting it is very strong and there doesn't seem to be anything incredible about it. That being said, I feel it's always possible that other characters may get in as secret hidden characters that Sakurai hasn't yet announced or is holding off on announcing and that the banner might get another update later. On one specific, I question Shadow's status. If we really have a Heroes versus villains theme, someone like Eggman or Metal Sonic would make more sense. Shadow, save for Sonic Boom Shadow, is a hero at best and an anti-hero with his own interfering agenda at worst. Additionally, I feel that Sakurai would, hopefully, give Shadow a moveset featuring his own unique abilities rather than making him an echo of Sonic with some physics and launch angle differences.
  18. That's more so because you lose consciousness (and therefore control), so your autonomic nervous system (which includes breathing) takes back control. It's not the same thing
  19. For the longest time the latter, but I've since come to drift to the former. On occasion though, I might try making the latter work well if I can. Sonic in particular I stopped using for the longest time but have since returned to using
  20. I'm hoping they are like SoV's bows. As long as they fit in the game well enough without breaking it
  21. No matter how it turns out, I know that because it's a Fire Emblem game, I'll love it. That said, no. No I'm not worried. I'm pretty optimistic despite us barely having any information now. I just hope the story is good. and as for gameplay. I'm not too worried about gameplay. I don't imagine IS would try anything off-the-wall (I hope formations don't make things too complicated, haha), so if they based the gameplay off any of the "less badly aged" titles, I'd be fine with it. Waifus? Honestly, I don't care if they're in or not.
  22. Yes, I definitely would like to see it back. (Non-SoV/Gaiden) Villagers, healers, and units that just aren't that great at combat (a few thieves) would definitely appreciate receiving it
  23. I think so. It's partly to prevent double posting from a bad connection I think. That and other reasons someone else could respond to you better with
  24. I started with Fates and my next game was Awakening. I love avatars. I have also played Blazing Blade, Shadows of Valentia, and am currently playing Path of Radiance, so I realize they aren't needed. I have also seen a lot of opinions on avatars that made me notice their flaws. Avatars still have grown on me, but I do feel that they might limit story telling as well as the Avatar's character in a bad way if done wrong. I want an avatar to return, but either fit more into Robin's role as a supporting character at most (the whole Grima aspect being overlooked) or at the least a custom unit with minor to no impact on the story. If an avatar returns, I want his or her support conversations to resemble Persona Social links in that he or she will have dialogue options that the conversation partner will respond to accordingly. I'd be fine with this limiting supports, that is as long as marriage is not in the game. (People would be upset not being able to romance their waifus and all, lol). I didn't mind Fates and Awakening's kids, although the latter definitely failed to make sense from a story perspective and definitely made the first generation look like bad parents. That being said, selective "breeding" added complexity to the game that wasn't necessary IMO in hindsight, lol. For me story and gameplay are two parallel tracks for a game. I love lore. I also love gameplay. If the gameplay is atrocious, however, the story might not be enough to motivate me to keep playing. (I guess they really aren't that parallel since the gameplay can impede story progression. Regardless.)
