  1. I've noticed quite a few FE10 3-9s. That map is so easy though ;_;. Do you guys mean the one where Elincia puts herself in front of enemies without a sword as an NPC? That's 3-10
  2. Agreed on Rody. Although +1 res really wouldn't do anything :P I think Abel is fine as is personally. He's not too good or too bad I find.
  3. I just think, like, you know, we should be discussing tier placements instead of all this theory stupidity bullcrap :) EDIT: Except the fact, that Jill(T) is more than just a flier. She has existing stats, and theyre pretty good. EDIT 2: wrong, it would be the first thing to spring to my mind. Like Haar needing a wing. What's the difference here?
  4. So, like, why is giving Haar a speedwing because he's the only GM flier intuitive while giving boosters to the only DB flier unintuitive? Seriously, like dondon says, this is absolute nonsense.

  8. How is figuring out a unit with superior mov, flight, stats, etc should be favored over the other scrub DBs not intuitive? Why should being intuitive matter in tiering? If we're assuming a semi-blind player for this tier list now for some odd reason, then why don't we start assuming Tauroneo is given all the statboosters? He's clearly the best recipient just going from what the game provides the player: base stats.

  10. Don't fear FE11's desert map. It's among the easiest desert maps in FE.
  11. He's not on Rebecca's level, he's useful for 3 chapters and then you don't ever want to deploy him again because of the usual move and spd issues I find. His base level also hinders his bad spd even more as it makes his shaky growth proc even less. Seriously, he gets like 9 exp per kill in Eliwood Hard Mode.
  12. I find desert maps kinda relaxing. I'm weird or maybe I just use too many pegasi. :P Dondon, why is Chapter 16 FE6 frustrating? Is it because of how many people you gotta recruit and all the side objectives it has?
  13. Like the title asks, what (in your opinion) is the worst map design ever in FE? What about the most frustrating? IMO, the worst map in all of Fire Emblem has to be FE10's Part 2 Chapter 1. It's all luck-based, down to even the enemies moving to attack or not. It's also the map I've been most frustrated in all of FE.

  15. I thought it would be less riggy as Rout. But it turns out it's so much worse. Can I just like...play it and treat it as free? Because I kinda wanna proceed.
  16. I find this effect to be one of the better done things in Awakening. It's pretty dramatic and makes me feel like I messed up (in 95% of the cases it's the RNG but w/e) and makes the death of the unit feel pretty dramatic. Like, for some reason, I can't stand watching sumia fall and die and say Noooo...in that voice. Same with Cordelia. So dramatic ;_;
  17. The only good one imo, is FE10 Gatrie. Good spd, nice bases, useful for a bit. I find Oswin to be incredibly mediocre and overhyped. He's pretty bad. I guess he's a bit more quality than the usual armor, but he's still so bad and awful.
  18. I find this intuitive-ness (<- is that even a word? Insert English isn't my main language excuse here it it isn't) thing kinda silly. Just tier how good units are relative to the rest of the cast and forget about this silly stuff imo.
  19. ^Bands exist. They change everything. I think Jill does cap stuff with bands in Fixed Mode.
  20. Yeah, Janaff Ulki Nailah should probably happen. Nailah because of her availability (even though she's a monster whenever she's there) and Janaff Ulki because of usual laguz gauge issues. I could see them below Jill (T) and Oscar (T) personally. And IMO, Nephenee(T)>Mia. The transfers make a huge difference for her. Giving her 4 AS more than she would normally have in 2-1 and she has better 1-2 range and about the same chances to ORKO with Adept+crits+Impale. Also, Shinon is too high. Boyd probably is too. Both Marcias also seem a bit too low imo. Transfer Marcia is like the best unit in 3-9 and she's serviceable because of forges later on.
  21. But dondon, Frey is so cool ;_;. Was I the only one that had an issue with Frey not appearing in notnormal? Yeah, preferably rebalance them in all the difficulties in FE12 (would probably require Maniac and Lunatic mode bonuses).
  22. Yeah...sorry, I tried. But this is just too BS. The boss just now died to Wrath nephenee before I could rout in my latest almost sucessful attempt after an hour and 30 minutes of being stuck here. Yeah, please make this free so we can actually proceed and not be stuck here until the RNG + AI decides to cooperate in every single move you make. Up to 15 turns or something.
  23. I like the Rapier idea for Marth a lot. Although, that has the possible side effect of making him the new Caeda...I think he should be able to kill Medeus in H5 at least. It's kinda ridiculous that he's supposed to take down Medeus and he's doubled by him no matter how much you train him. Perhaps raise his spd cap to 27 and alter his spd growth a bit? As for Avatar, I'm still not convinced by any of the stuff presented. But oh well. I think altering class bases and other stuff is a given to relabance the avatar though. Perhaps we should discuss him/her again some other time? Day 2: FE11 Frey and FE12 Luke Poor Frey, this character got the shaft when they decided it was a good idea to not include the Prologue in the Harder Difficulties. He's completely unplayable in anything higher than Normal. Of course, first thing would be making him playable in Hard 1 and above and then rebalancing him. Assume that he's playable in those difficulties. And FE12 Luke, generally considered a high tier unit. He's a growth unit that joins really early, so he has a lot of time to get exp and become one of your MVPs. Weirdly, he's almost never found in his base class aside from the Prologue. First question would be: would he need nerfing at all? or is he fine as is?
  24. Even the AI is inconsistent in 2-1. I mean wtffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff. This is so dumb. One run the Javelin housekeeper moves, the other he stands there like a dumbass. I have Heather and even with her this is super frustrating and inconsistent. Can we make it free?
