I voted Garcia because I forgot Gerik existed :P. But anyway, Garcia might not be a bad idea either. Considering he will have better axe rank for Garm and I find he doubles 80% of the game with his bad spd anyway. Slap him a Garm and he can double another 15%. But my experience is draft-based with him so idk if this will be the same.

Nvm, I solved this. I just changed the Body ring offset to an empty space and edited that. It forgot about con+2 now. Mods can close this.

I've been trying to Hex Edit my hack's Body Ring to give different boosts than con+2 for...reasons. But whatever I do (even erasing every value in the offset and giving it 0) it always displays and gives con+2. I was thinking maybe it is hardcoded or am I doing it wrong? I want to give it HP+3 and Def+1, those work, but it also displays the Con+2 and gives it to the unit despite not having a 2 anywhere in Hex Editor.

If you're going to take it slow, then I advise having Snipers with Silver Bow one shot the Wyverns by being in the edge of their range. Etzel can also one shot them with Xcalibur and Palla can tank a few of them and counter with Javelin so someone else can pick them off. It shouldn't really be that hard if you don't let the wyverns come to you and own you (remember their move advantage will make it really difficult to defend against their attacks if multiple of them gang up on you. If you can't stall it out, then I advise an aggresive strat vs the first wyverns and then taking it slow. As for the boss area, it's literally a trap. The enemies won't move until multiple of them can gang up on you. You can remedy this by tanking it out or making them target different units. In any case, there's 2 save points, so once you get there, you have the safety of having a save point. Remember that there's a secret shop next to jake, you're gonna want as many Dragonpikes as you can get. And since you're going really slow, might as well buy a lot of Wyrmslayer too. Although usually only 1-2 wyrmslayers are bought. If you don't have many wing spears, there's also a wIng Spear there. And all sorts of effective weapons. The real important ones are the dragon-slaying weapons and the Wing Spear. The others you get for free later on. Also, forging a Dragonpike with a bit of MT can help to pick off the Wyvern boss in C11. if you can't stall the boss area out, then I recommend the dondon strat.
