I know, but that is my full experience with conquest(Fate in general too). I get that you mean it’s more of a traditional FE more aimed at long time fans.

I full on agree with the OP, I love to immerse myself in a game and forget the worries. Honestly my second playthru of Trails of Cold Steel was the most fun I’ve had. Breezing thru it was just a blast.

I don’t see how getting hit by single digit hit rates and missing with high 90s is “meant for experienced players”. Testing your luck with 50-60 range is one thing but it doesn’t matter how experienced your are when the game hates the player

One thing I found bugged me a lot in 3H was if you made a mistake while moving a unit and tried to back up, it completely de-selected that unit. Man, that really made me upset.

Sacred Stone with graphic and animation update... Only slightly kidding, but a return to Skills being less important, no reclass option and a greater emphasis on Class and Stats. I would like a free side battle option for leveling but with a limited amount of promotion items making you really need to plan who you are promoting. Oh, and a post game where you can mess around, like SS and max your units out.

I disagree, but I’ll bite my tongue. I do however have to say those two(Robin x Cordelia) really don’t seem underrated as It really appears that most people ship them... I for on say Robin x Emm that’s underrated!

Oh, they do but you never get to see how Oscar and Sigrun would interact with one another since RD had bad support style. Personally wise I think they would be great for each other. That is coupled by the fact the Tanith is Oscar’s only female support in PoR.

Ross x Lute: I can’t be the only one who wanted these two together, I can picture the “Sir Son-Of-The-Warrior-Garcia-Ross” running off into trouble and his wife Lute shaking her head while tagging along after him to clean up the mess. I did disliked the fact the Ross’s only romance option is Amelia, while Lute get Artur and Forde. Oscar x Sigrun/ Boyd x Tanith/ Rolf x Marcia: Like I really wanted the green bros to shack up with the holy knight trio. Honestly, Oscar and Sigrun would probably have the happiest and most chilled house in the world. Boyd and Tanith are both passionate, and hard workers so I could easily see them as trainers/captains. Rolf and Marcia share some nice and sweet supports, thou they never turn romantic(I think Marcia didn’t want to be a cradle robber). After RD I think Rolf would be old enough for Marcia and he definitely would be a good shoulder to lean on for Marcia after she deals with her brother

I don’t remember the name but that one that turns nearly every character in SS into monsters. I loved that one... I nearly beat it to.

While I prefer 3H over Fates they both got things going for them. I personally liked the idea of the Children(not the end results) and the diversified classes. I do think while the story did overextend itself I do think 3H was better then Fates in that regard. But they both fall under the “Best FE... until the paint wears off” like the more of Fates and 3H I play the less I enjoy them. I have beaten RD about 50 times and it is still my back up game, but both especially 3H have bad replayablilty to me

So, has anyone else noticed that Constance personal skill is wrong? It says Str/Mag +3 indoor and Def/Res +3 outdoor, but it actually means Str/Mag +3 when no sun and Def/Res +3 when in sun. She gets the damage boost when deploying her on cloudy field fight that would count as Outdoor.

See, I opened this thread knowing full well, that many people will hate characters I like(Bernie,Severa,Lysthiea) and I would dislike people that others may love(Cordelia,Azura,Lucina). I personally want to hear the reasons why you/anyone dislikes or hates a character(s). This is more or less trying to understand other’s feelings and reasons. I probably went too far in my dislike of Cordelia, and i know it came off as a lot worse then how I meant it to be. I may be wrong, but I don’t think most of the people here are trying to be antagonistic.

Ilyana... hands down, but it’s because even thou I’ve put her thru hell and high water she always pull thru for me. That and I just love the fact she is a okay about eating a shoe off someone’s foot... I both adore her and find it endearing

Well, is there any others you hate/dislike then what you stated earlier, I more I read the more I find that I dislike. Recap-Ninian,Lucina,Azura,Cordelia/Caeldori New-Niles,Azama,Geoffrey,Eliwood,Kent,Soren,Leonardo,Sully,Kjelle and Ashe

I actually wanted to post back "Yea, geoffrey best waifu, I love to hate on my waifu but i'll be damned to let others hate on him" I do think an obsessive character can be done well, they just don't seem to really try to make one. Well I used Anna as the second pick, but I'll sit and believe that Cordelia makes her husband wear a Chrom mask to sleep. However Cordelia never really seems to get over Chrom, as if you play Before Awakening in Fate and have Selena talk to Chrom she'll tell him "You need to spend time with her... enjoy me gift to you mom..." showing that even after Severa is born Cordelia is still on about Chrom. This is still shown in Awakening as Severa still knows how much her mother loves Chrom.

This! Let’s make a character obsessed with another and give them nearly ZERO interactions, the player never see her having trouble talking to Chrom because she never talks to Chrom. Really Cordelia’s junior, Sumia wins him over with pie, are you telling me “PERFECT” Cordelia can’t make a damn pie. If and that’s is a big IF she has trouble talking to Chrom that is clearly her own fault. I guess I missed the Azura joke, but considering that she had a crazy OP combo in Warriors I would she is the devs fave, Alm didn’t get in fansevice Warriors so... I don’t think they cared as much about him. Would you prefer a girl telling you she’ll kill you if you cheat/abandon her, after fully knowing she is crazy over a girl telling you maybe she’ll like you more then money

This, regardless if it was on purpose or intentional, that put the pressure on her and that IS trauma, TRAUMA not abuse. It still stems from Cordelia, if Cordelia wasn’t so “perfect” no one would have placed those expectations on Severa. I’m not defending Tharja but Tharja is in my eyes better then Cordelia, as you all know “the best of intention bring about the worst actions” and that holds truth about her. Wanted to make the world the best for Severa while failing as a mother to realize the damage she was doing

Well of course you would switch it around on Tharja you clearly like her(Cordelia) more, but the whole moving on statement applies to Tharja just as much as Cordelia. I don’t remember read all about Robin in Tharja’s supports, her supports with Gregor and Libra are better Cordelia/Robin(I never pair with her anyways, Severa is better and cuter) And no Azura doesn’t have a cutscene showing her off, She has an entire game where she is the end all be all Dues Ex Machina. The Devs clearly loved her more but knew that most people would prefer a more well endowed women.

Cordelia is bad mmkay, I get you like her but she is awful. I will compare her to Tharja(sorry tharja). A) both are obsessed with a character to point of annoyance. B) they both give their kids sever trauma. C) they both “kinda settle for someone else”. But I feel Tharja is less obsessive and just more stalker-y while Cordelia is well in her words “I would do all this and more to be with him”... except telling him she want to sleep with him. I’m mean really Lady you are married, I’m sure your husband loves to hear “Chrom this and Chrom that” every other word. And while I don’t like Tharja I do feel that comparing her to Cordelia is insulting. And I did get a bit of a chuckle at the Geoffrey thing. Good one

I beg to differ, Niles is awful and rather unlikable especially in Warriors. Yes Camilla is more than not just sex appeal, but she isn’t as forced down you throat as Azura. Now there is a character the devs want to tap.

So... people hate Camilla’s sexual undertones, but not Niles’. Odd, I find Niles more irritating then Camilla. But Dubs Vs Sub is an odd thing to bring up... did you just wanna put that out there?

I gotta agree with eclipse on this one, it seems like they have a dislike of the tropes and not the characters in the trope. Like I’m not a fan of the womanizer trope but I feel Sain did it better and is more likable then say Sylvain.

In certain cases, Severa being an inferiority complex Tsundere is a lot different (and cutier) then let’s say an egotistical tsundere
