  1. Argh so many posts and pages and I couldn't get online yesterday... Let's see. I said I liked his atitude, because he didn't focus on only one vote candidate for the entire phase. Then he started to jump around and Unvote/Vote a lot based on weak reads. This attitude of his made me change my mind about him and think his behavior was scummy. It's true, my reads are pretty weak. I mostly prodded Lucy and said how Mancer's habits were scummy to me, but other than that, Sho seemed like a good lynch candidate since he wasn't doing anything other than souding like a mad oracle. I figure I'll give myself some rest for now. I still don't understand your reasons for believing I am scum. All you stated here was about Mancer. What was so scummy about prodding him and believing his jumpy attitude was scummy? @JB I'll explain that to you for the third time, in response to your post #290. I didn't vote Sho because it was useless at the time and there were other people voting him for the same reasons as I, so I wouldn't get any more info than them. So, I decided to focus more in other players, such as Mancer and Lucy (because I suck at mafia and I can't keep notes about every single player's posts and points through walls of text and 20 in-thread pages). As we were getting closer to the deadline, I decided to ultimately vote Sho because I preferred a lynch over him than a lynch over Mancer, because at least Mancer was more helpful than MadOracleWhoLikesMeta!Sho and the latter hadn't claimed Doc. Can you get new motives agaisnt me already? This is getting repetitive and forced as hell. >_> Also Derp. That's all he's got to say about me, other than praise JB with a "well done". Not enough to call me scummy, I believe, but Shin's a new player so I give him the benefit of doubt. So you believe Sho was more useless than scummy? I'll address this point on my BBM quote that's comming up next. I'm just putting this here so you know I'm not forgetting to address you. I wasn't ever reluctant to vote Sho. I just found it pointless back then, when we had time to vote other people and get reactions from them. We weren't getting any good reactions from Sho, other than "Hey guys I can't play Mafia on D1 so excuse me", and we even got the same answer twice. I found it a legit vote by the end of the phase, though. And that case Mancer had agaisnt BBM is old as hell, we've got over it by now. Why bring such things back from the grave? I don't think I understand your point, or your post at all. Why was it so wrong to vote Sho when I had more legit reasons to vote him instead of voting someone like Mancer or Lucy? Remember, Mancer claimed Doc and I was reluctant on voting him, while I didn't have much agaisnt Lucy, I just prodded her before. So, back to my first scumread, Sho, as Lucy wasn't anywhere near being lynched too. This is only a logical conclusion. Objection! That's not what I did at all. *red truth* I never suggested to lynch Mancer after he claimed Doctor. *red truth* I took my vote out of Mancer as soon as I learned he was the Doc. Since it was around phase end, I also switched my vote to my strongest scum read, Sho. As I explained before, I had only three reads: Mancer, Sho and Lucy. The former was convicted by role claim, the latter I don't have much agaisnt and I simply prodded her. As for why my towncibes on Mancer turned to scumvibes the next day, I explained this before. He was not focusing only in one target for the duration of the game, he didn't votepark, and he understood the importance of voting and questioning others.... Until he started to vote 5 different people, unvoting and then voting another on a rather quick pace, sometimes using weak reads. That's what I consider jumping, and that's an attitude I consider scummy. How did Baldrick's case on me make him seem more town to you? I honestly can't understand this part. @Mancer Dear Mancer, Stop voting people for the slightest reason you find, the most recent case I read up to is your post #369, when JB explicitely said he was going to come back soon to explain his vote on you. That was not necessary. Voting people for the slightest reason you find is not scumhunting. Rather, your lack of stance and focus make you seem scummy, and your not well-thought votes make it seems like you're overreacting. Got it memorized? Yours truly, Rapier. So, I'll ##Vote: Mancer for his false contribuition to the game, which seems more like he's trying to say he's helping by making votes without substance when he actually isn't. However, there are some other things I'd like to address, but I haven't finished re-reading some stuff such as Baldrick's ISOs, 'cause I can't remember him doing much on D1 and that's what makes me more warry than usual. Same thing with a lesser extent to Lucy, since I already addressed her on D1, so hang with me there. So you approve of Mancer's vote to Scorri and JB? What do you have to say about them? I also wonder about this. Why is my case different than the others'? Why am I the only one who wanted to get towncred by voting Sho by the end of the phase? I had justified many times before why I found him scummy, so why does it seem so wrong that I voted him by the end, especially because he was the only player aside from Mancer that seemed to be getting lynched on D1 end?
  2. I have no flavor. That kinda gives more hints about my role than I wanted to leave, so I'm not going to explain further. I'll think about what to do tomorrow, as it's midnight and I have yet to sleep for a new exciting day at school. Can't wait to wake up early and have a nice day dealing with Math! Yay!
  3. I'll explain it again. I voted Sho because the phase was going to end and he was on my suspects list. At that time, it was not necessary to vote him. But since we're closing down, I decided it was better to vote him later.
  4. You know, I thought the phase was going to end in 2 hours and it was late at night. There's no contradiction there. Why vote me over something so simple?
  5. So your only reasoning to go after Lucy is because she also wagon hopped, just like Mancer? If that's the case, why haven't you voted Mancer before he revealed himself to be the Doctor? Also, Xinny, I gave reasons agaisnt Mancer, Lucy and Sho as well. My reads are not that strong and there's some things I can't remember that well about others since there's a lot of stuff to remember, so I'm sticking to them for now.
  6. Oh, right. I'm such a doofus... Unvote ##Vote: Sho
  7. I didn't vote Sho because a lot of people were doing so for the same motive as I. I wouldn't be helping by voting him. Hence why I decided to prod Lucy a bit. Also, while I admired Mancer's argument that we shouldn't focus only in one target and votepark, I know he has been voting a lot of people recently, based on weak reads, jumping all over the place. Perhaps he is twisting his words pretty badly, or maybe he is hypocritical scum. Either way, now I feel that lynching him will be productive, as we can check those who he voted recklessly (if he'd flip scum), and his slips don't help his case either. He's been reacting a lot to people like JB and BBM especially, something I don't like since the only excuse he's got is that BBM is sheeping him and JB is his scumbuddy/voteparking him. But he claimed Doctor. I'm not that stupid to lose something like that so soon. So, I'm back to my slight scummy read, Sho, for not contributing with anything and just saying "hey guys I can't do shit on D1 except appeal to PR meta, sorry". ##Vote: Sho
  8. I can't even follow my PR properly I mean I suck at this why am I such a derp whyyyy On another note, I'm going to bed now. Yeah, timezones are AMAZING. I'll brace the incomming 8 pages tomorrow. Awesome.
  9. ... God damnit, Lucy posted before me and I didn't even notice. I'm such a derp! Well anyway, I still want to see her content, so no objections here.
  10. Damn you, timezones! Well, at least I'm here. Even though Xinny's timezone is the same as mine... Well, yeah, I'm a lazy ass. Having to read 8 pages doesn't help at all, too. Now, about my thoughts... Don't expect much. I think that case agaisnt BBM was legit, but it doesn't have that much strength now since he explained himself, and do we really need 5 people voteparking over him? I am glad people like Mancer unvoted so they could also focus on others, seeing that this is D1 and any kind of read is welcome. Now, about Mancer, I think school and posting short reads once in a while isn't helping much, although I get town vibes from his effort. Elie is overdramatic when referring to his reads and to people, but I agree with most of the points he made agaisnt BBM, Sho and, if my memory is anything to go by (it usually isn't...), Lucy, who performed a disappearing act and has yet to come back. Shinori made some nice points, hence why he's still ok in my books. Sho is perhaps the only slightly scummy read I have, since he does nothing but appeal to stupid meta. No one believes in that kind of thing anymore, and we are well aware that Game Masters usually troll people by using meta. So it's more of a trap than anything solid to go by. I'd vote him, usually, but I don't see any benefit from doing so. I'd rather... ##Vote: Lucy Lucyyy where arth thou? What do you think about this turn of events? I kinda want to see more from you, as you didn't do much really. I know, it's an hypocritical comment. I'm such a doofus...
  11. Yes, I'm still participating in FR Mafia. Count me on it.

  12. Unless you're made of fire, like me. Then you've got no worries about healing your burns. I guess I have -started- many flame wars. One was a coup d' etat in a forums agaisnt the forum creator, and no, I'm not proud of it. >:
  13. Time travel is always great when used properly, so yeah. It's a risky move that can ruin a plot, however.
  14. Indeed... Because the future is made from the present. It does not exist without our actions. I'd say I like perfectionism, for it makes us strive to become better and better, and I just find this thought beautiful overall. I'm not a perfectionist, but I always try to improve. Actually, I'd say it's one of the things responsible for humanity's evolution.
  15. Do I have control over it? If the guys asking me that question trust me this much, I'd probably pull some shitty Bruce Willis action and more likely get shot for it before I can turn... But it's better than nothing. To me (at least), living a miserable life with no purpose or meaning is worse than being dead. I'd rather stop feeling an uncontrollable and overbearing pain by dying than keep on living miserably for the rest of my days.
  16. I generally watch until things get bad, aka when they start discussing and fighting, when it's certain that there will be an aggression. Then I step in and shield the guy... Though that only happened once, last year. And the bullied guy totally owned the other guy, so I didn't do anything.
  17. Yet you don't need to prove something for that thing to exist, or for that thing to be true. It's a fallacy. The Earth was always round, even though people believed it was flat. The Sun was always the center of the universe (ours, at least), even before we believed the Earth was the center of the universe. Things exist because they are, not because they need to be proved and understood scientifically. Now, about death... It's one of the things I fear the most, but not the thing I fear the most. Regret and failure scare me much more than that. Can one live even though he knows he's nothing, as in, an utter failure who's failed not only with those he loves, but with himself? To live being treated like trash, meaningless? For me, the answer is no. Life has only meaning with a purpose, in my opinion, even though I consider it a purposeless cycle on which we humans give some meaning because we need to, and because we're bound to our mind proccess. EDIT: I didn't even see that this topic is from 2011, oshi----
  18. Never liked you, dood. ##Vote: Helios It's nothing personal. Just business.
  19. Um, getting mod killed was intentional. I just hoped the phase would continue.
  20. Oh well. Fine, I'm the Bulletproof. I don't know why my interest dropped so low lately, but it did. It's still better than making the town mislynch me, though. Here it is.
  21. If the town leader says so... ##Vote: Core Bahhhh I have no objections to it so I don't care, though I'd prefer a Helios lynch tbh.
  22. What if the scums targetted Rein because they found out he was from the Cult, instead of targetting him for the stone? They were all killed in two phases, this is not a coincidence Cam.
  23. What else is there to do? Just end the phase already...
  24. SHINORI PLEASE VOTE ANYONE. IT CAN BE ME.
  25. I think I'll stick with my vote in Elie. I won't overthink things, if he's lynchproof then we can prove right now and stop bothering about him anymore... That is, unless Scorri decided to give him a legit Unlynchable Unkillable Godfather role, but I doubt so... Kinda.
