Overall Pretty solid theory. I forgot that the 5 unknown crests were all damaged ones, that makes me really curious about what happened to them. I'm kind of hoping that the Nightcrawlers have some of these damaged crests because more crests equals more fun.

Leonie seems like she could be a good Cavalier as well as they focus on Lances which we have seen her using, so they would be able to keep up with each other. I ship it.

Ok, I really like that Felix is locked because he is one of my favourites and this means he will probably be quite important(especially considering he has the only student major crest). I was kind of hoping Ingrid and Sylvain would be locked as well, to keep the group together, but I'm okay with this.

Ok so according to the new 9 minute video, Ferdinand has no weaknesses. At all. He has Strengths in Swords, Lances, Axes and Riding, as well as a star in Heavy armour. But the man has NO WEAKNESSES. That's got to be the reason behind his ego.

Plus the only Golden deer who haven't been confirmed as recruitable are her and Marianne. I think she is way more likely than Marianne.

Does this mean Jeralt says she is the top student, or that she says that Jeralt said she was the top student.

Ok but why is Soron's forehead so big. How big can his brain possibly be? Is he a Ganondorf main in smash? Because that would explain it.

Ok.....you know what, that's a lot better. Do you know if you have to cash in your renown for an upgrade, or if you can wait to get a higher level one first. Because I would rather skip the Divine pulse upgrades and get the higher stuff.

Uh Oh. Those 4 upgrades to divine pulse make it go from 3 to 7. This is getting way too much way too quickly. It is possible that the 3 in the king of beasts footage had already been increased by some of these boosts but i'm upset we get so much.

Apparently not, Brawler is but not the upgraded version. These restriction seriously make no sense. I'm not that upset with having them but if you are going to have them at least make it bloody consistent instead of picking random classes at different tiers.

I mean technically Ingrid and Lysithea would be separate too because Charon is a crest originally from Faerghus and Daphnel is from Leicester.

Probably Hilda I guess, I wish it was Lorenz though. Might give him more story time to develop. Now it seems like Hilda is going to be story important character and that scares me.

So basically Female Byleth is superior for a Blue lions playthrough because of Sylvain, and Male Byleth is superior for a Golden Deer playthrough because of Hilda and Leonie. Black Eagles doesn't really matter but they have been suggesting Male Byleth as the Canon option for them.

Well Galatea and Daphnel are extremely close on the map so it's not too unrealistic for the bloodline to be passed over. I wonder if Faerghus and Leicester did a trade of a house Charon noble(to Cordelia), with a House Daphnel noble being sent to Galatea. Probably not but it's cool that crests are switching over nations.

Blue lions has 6 characters with crests, Golden deer has 5 and the Black Eagles surprisingly only have 4. Blue lions just keeps getting better

Ok so Linhardt, Annette, Sylvain, Ingrid and Marianne all have crests. If someone can confirm minor or major that would be awesome. Also Ingrid seems to have the leicester alliance's 4th crest. I wonder why

Not for me, I love every character revealed so far, though obviously some more than others(The whole of Blue lions+Hubert). With that being said I do have one character who I am not a fan of and that is Ignatz. It wouldn't be enough to stop me picking Golden Deer if it was my favourite group(It isn't), but his design and character just doesn't sit right with me. I also unironically love Lorenz.

I don't know if this has been said yet, but from Kotaku's gameplay video I am almost certain that Felix is Lucien Doge.

Are Felix, Claude and Sylvain not doing it for you? Bearing in mind i'm straight male I thought they were pretty attractive.

I mean it would be a change to have a fire emblem game where Steel weapons are finally better than Iron weapons, however combat arts might still be inferior to just doubling an enemy in most situations, which was what happened with SoV.
