  1. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it doesn't make sense or that's it's BS. Nothing indicated that Naga's lifespan was affected by the war. End of discussion. Your crackpot theory is wild fanfic at best with no basis in fact. We know Naga fought as a human wielding the Falchion and not through use of their Dragonstone where all their power is stored. This is a perfectly reasonably explanation to why Naga's lifespan was not affected whereas the other dragons exhausted their dragonstones through overuse. It's perfectly logical. Naga transferred all their power and will into the tome (as Kaga stated, the dragonstones were sacrificed at the Miracle of Darna) and died soon after. Naga did not fight Loptyr. Naga literally transferred all their power and will from their dragonstone and self into the tome of Naga. There's no 'maybe' in regards to if Loptyr was Naga's equal. Loptyr WAS Naga's equal. No ifs and buts. It makes perfect sense regardless of how unwilling you are to accept this fact. You go out of your way to dismiss every single piece of canon information we've been given about Naga. @Emperor Hardin is right. Kaga was very descriptive and both the illustration of Naga shows them to be perfectly normal and his own description says nothing or even hints to any crackpot nonsense that Naga was somehow weakened. If it was the case, it would have been mentioned like a lot of other insignificant details. It's stated that Naga and Loptyr are equals. There is not mention of any crippling injury from the war that came before. There is every reason to believe that transferring their power and will into the tomes is what caused the Naga to die. Naga was not crippled. This is fact and makes perfect sense. Naga and Loptyr were equals. This is fact and makes perfect sense. Enough nonsense, please.
  2. Yes, it makes perfect sense. Also, Naga was not weakened by Loptyr either. Naga didn't even fight Loptyr directly. The actual Loptyr is also long dead or sealed by the time of the Miracle od Darna. Naga transferred their power and will into the tome and shortly after, sealed Tiki and ended their life. This is a logical chain of events and there is nothing to suggest that Naga was weakened or crippled or whatever before the Miracle of Darna.
  3. I've yet to run across a 'toxic' community. And I've played almost 3000 hours of Dota 2. The real problem is that everyone lets a couple of bad apples colour their opinion of a groups of people that most of the time, range in hundreds of thousands to miliions of people.
  4. Naga and Loptyr transferred their will and power into their tomes. You don't think that had anything to do with it? It's not stated or even implied that Naga was weakened before 'fighting' Loptyr. There is literally none. You're simply assuming that Naga was weakened for whatever reason to deny Naga and Loptyr were equals in power. He denies it because Naga and Loptyr are stated to be equals. You can't deny statements from the game's creator to support your own theory. This is growing more crackpot by every post.
  5. No, it would hold water if it was ever suggested that Naga was affected negatively by the battles. There is literally nothing in the game to suggest that Naga was weakened or crippled or whatever.
  6. I don't even know where this idea that Naga was weakened came from. It has zero basis in fact.
  7. Anri's strength of will alone was enough to wield Falchion. He did not forge any blood pact. Marth doesn't even have a brand of any sort. Marth can wield it because he's basically the 'Chosen One', not by any blood pact. We're not going to get any explanation for it. That's just how it is. Even after Kaga made the Jugdral games were made and the concept of brands was introduced, Kaga never alluded to Anri or Marth having any sort of brand nor did IS add that in the remakes even though they could have.
  8. Anri didn't forge any blood pact. He met Gotoh at the Ice Dragon Shrine but no mention of any blood pact is made, not even in the remakes.
  9. Unless something's changed drastically for Shadows of Valentia, Encounter is not a 'recruitment' theme. It plays during a couple of recruitments but most recruitments don't have a theme at all, just the village/town theme of whatever village/town they're recruited in.
  10. Manaketes being able to use different dragonstones is clearly a gameplay mechanic. The story makes it abundabtly clear that the one dragonstone is all they get. Bantu discards his dragonstone itself in his ending. If he can just use different dragonstones like he can in gameplay, then what would even be the point? Also, trying to argue that Naga was somehow weakened or not at their prime makes no sense. As stated before, if this was the case, it would be mentioned. No, saying that it simply wasn't mentioned isn't grounds for saying your theory is true. That's just silly. Also. Naga doesn't simply die of old age or something. Xane says Naga 'ended' their life. And Naga was only 5000 years old, which is just past youth, considering 1000 year old Tiki looks like 10 year old and 3000 year old looks like 20 year old.
  11. How does this fit in with Rudolf and Duma's plan? In the original Gaiden, it was them that came up with the plan. Now this is saying Mila was the one? And what about the scenes in the opening cutscene with Mila (?) grinning like madwoman while Rudolf has the Falchion?
  12. I also really love how the ending is done. The closest we got in Fire Emblem itself was Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn where you get additional conversations with major characters along with their endings but this is above and beyond. As cheesy as it is, I also love the final scenes with Runan and Holmes on the Sea Lion, sailing away to another adventure. Even after all the dark shit this game has, it ends on a extremely lighthearted and fun "And the adventure continues' sort of way. Nicely done. Also, the endings all have variations depending on what events you managed to get and how you distributed your units in the route splits. For example, if you took Julia with Holmes' group in the last split so that she goes to Yr to meet Yoda again, she will instead get some rather awkward "not really blood related' teasing with Shigen instead and Holmes calls them freaks or something. As for the other pseudo incest part, if you used Holmes to rescue Plum instead of Bartz, then he wouldn't have his conflicted feelings and would bring his grandfather (I think?) from his village to live with Plum and Lionheart and the whole pseudo incest bit never comes up. Another one is that event with Lyria and Attrom. The event started with the creep offering spiked milk to Juni. You chose to have her refuse which results in Attrom and Lyria's event playing but if Juni had drunk the milk, Xeno would have rescued her and they would get together in the ending. But that prevents Lyria and Attrom from getting together so it's one or the other. And as I mentioned in the comments of the video, all the revelations related to Morse and Holmes's dialogue are remnants of when the game used to be Emblem Saga and Morse was likely Gotoh himself. The full extent of how many connections this had to Archanea-Jugdral is not known but once have the knowledge what this game was supposed to be, the plot threads becomes more and more connected.
  13. Hey, you remember way back when you first met Richard? Remember how he was in conflict with another kingdom and met it's prince that was sort of a good person? Yeah, the game forgot about that. This game has so many characters, even Kaga forgot about some. I don't even remember his name and I'll have to look it up. You'll also notice that you didn't get to use any of the super units on Sennet's side such as his adoptive mother and grandfather, Resshea, San's mother, etc. An interesting choice. Not that they'd be necessary in the final chapter but that you don't get to use them at all even though the game makes a point to show off their raw power but it is unexpected.
  14. I'm glad that the endings are set in stone and that there are canon pairs.
  15. Something called D_Hard. I'll have to find it again. It makes my D hard. Edit: http://serenesforest.net/download/fe15/BGM_MAP_D_Hard.mp3 This one.
  16. I for one am glad that this disproves the Loptyr theory as well as the Fusion of Earth Dragons theory.
  17. No, Astra is a sword, Luna is a bow and Sol is a Lance. It's not the same as Awakening.
  18. It would seem that they're purposely not showing him. It's pretty big spoiler, afterall and it's easy to hide back in the old days of simple portraits that often got reused but hiding it now will full art is impossible.
  19. We can see Zeke's map during the demonstration of the turnwheel. You can even see the 2 dark mages in the exact same position. No sign of the actual boss of that chapter or Zeke though.
  20. And it looks like it's Map 1 from chapter 4. That chapter had a generic boss who these two seem to have replaced.
  21. What kind of logic is that? A lot of the changes proposed here are because things called the same thing in Japanese. The fact that they're called the same thing in Japanese in the absence of official name in a localised Fire Emblem game is the biggest reason for it to be called the Binding Shield.
  22. Every turn in Genealogy is probably one whole day.
  23. Shadow Dragon didn't fail at all though. It sold well over half a million copies, more than Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn did. Those two games were closer to failures.
  24. Only married women are supposed to wear a bindi so I don't know what's up with that. Almedha herself has a mark but it's more like a tatoo or birthmark. The markings on Kurthnaga and Rajaion are more like the tilaka worn by priests and also by regular people during religious ceremonies.
