Eldigan does make a lot of sense though. He recognises that Grannvale has absolutely no intention of returning authority to Agustria despite all of Sigurd's promises. He decides to side with the known evil that wold at least retain Agustria's independence over the unknown evil that is reducing Agustria to a territory to be plundered.

That's because, in addition to what Sentinel said, Vigarde isn't actually the focus of the plot at all. He gets dealt with a little over the halfway point of the game in one route and is relegated to a single line explanation as to what happened to him in the other route. Lyon is the focus here and his situation is also similar to Garon/Vigarde, though he is still alive and can interact with others but he is handled extremely well with 2 variations on how far the possession has affected him.

Hmm? What's this? Anyone got any pictures or something? Also, nitpick, it's not 'Hindi' architecture since Hindi is a language (and quite a recent one at that), not the culture. It's a lot more complicated than even I know in detail but I'll leave it at that.

I can't vote on this because the best is Archanea but Ylisse is the worst.

The games every oppurtunity it gets to upstage Marth or the other important characters by changing their deeds and ideas into Kris' deeds and ideas.

What? The game pretty much says, "Marth? Shiiiit. He's didn't do anything. Kris was the true hero!" And the game ends with Kris being oh so humble for letting Marth take the credit for all of Kris' achievements by being the hero of shadows because Archanea needs a great king. Fuck. That. Kris is awful. The absolute worst.

Where are you getting 11 from? There's Roy, Lilina, Sue, Raigh, Lugh and Wolt. Klein, Clarine, Fir and Igrene have fixed parents. Igrene is also already born during FE7.

I can't handle it. I have never seen such a cowardly irredeemable piece of shit like Conquest Corrin after Chapter 15. There are outright villains that are more sympathetic than Corrin. Corrin needs to die more than many many villains in the series do.

People say that Birthright has the best story of the 3 and while that is true, that is not praise. Birthright is a whole lot of absolutely nothing. The game spends 5 chapters over Takumi and Ryoma's disappearance. That's literally the only plot point of 5 consecutive chapters. All that happens in between in you meet Izana (who is pointless) and . Something that should have been 2 chapters is dragged out over 5 chapters. And I hate the argument that because the previous games supposedly had awful stories, we're not really allowed to criticize this story. Even if that were true or you genuinely believed this to be true (and I won't dispute your beliefs), this makes no sense as a counterargument. Fire Emblem is not a series that focuses on gameplay alone. It's very creation was to tell a grand story, not just be a pure gameplay experience. Every game since has used 'story' as one of its selling points. And after 25 years, one should expect improvement (if you believe all previous games had bad plots) or be of equal quality (if you believe that previous games had good plots).

You're basing it entirely on how the west sees Marth and Lucina? That doesn't make sense.

I think Awakening is the worst game in the series by a large margin and that Fates isn't any good either.

It's a stupid plot device. More so than the Blood Pact could ever hope to be. That's what's wrong with it.

None. I absolutely do not trust the current IS to not fuck everything up. On the other hand, the supports make the characters worse since they're mostly a precursor to Awakening's supports in terms of writing. And there's Kris, who on their own, makes FE3 vastly superior to FE12.
