I feel like this would make me legitimately upset. I know people rave about Suzuki's work, but I really don't like most of her works based on what I saw in Heroes and Cipher. Something about the way she draws faces just really bugs me, and I wish I could explain it but I can't find the words.
But yes, Ayra does look a lot like Shannan. And like a Jojo character. The Vanaheimr outfit design is also pretty decent now that we can remove it from Seithr and Heithr, whose clothes just looked really not great.
This week's 4-star special heroes ticket gave me an Ayra who was +atk -res, and when I looked at her kit and stats again it made me sad that this character who was once considered so OP is very meh by today's standards.

Ayra's art has a very ... 80s anime-esque feel. It's also giving me some Jojo vibes.
She looks nice.

I just pulled four 5-stars on one circle. Yes, technically two of them were 4-star specials and the other two were both 5-star Nel. But still.
EDIT: One of them was the regular Mareeta I've been trying to get since forever, this is an important detail.

If we ever do get Bruno+Alfonse as grooms, then Bruno will have to be the lead since Alfonse already led one.
Unless Alfonse gets "main character privileges" and gets to lead a second time, but that'd require breaking established patterns. (No, Lif doesn't count because he and Alfonse are called different things.)

I'm more surprised by Alcryst being the freebie. Sure, he's a dude, but isn't he more popular than anyone else not named Veronica on this banner? (I'm pretty murky on the placement on Engage characters, correct me if Lapis outranked Alcryst.) Either way, guess IS prioritizes less popular boobs over more popular dudes.

Either way, I don't really have any feelings about her as a character. But counter roar 3 is pretty nice to have on here. As is atk/spd scowl 3.

Also, this banner is just okay. Totally skippable for me at least. Nice that Sharena finally gets a new alt.

No other Brazen 4 skills even exist, now that I think about it.

I'm not exactly in love with the fact that Still Water 4 and Life and Death 4 got new side grades/variations. Heroes needs to chill on making like a bajillion variations of various skills when half of those variations exist on only one unit, oftentimes a seasonal or other limited unit. Would be nice to get Flared Mirror on someone who's not Ninja Sanaki, for example.

Just what is it about those two? Seriously?
Really disappointed that m!Byleth isn't on here, considering that every other avatar pair with a fallen version had both present. Even more disappointed that there isn't another fallen priestess from Marth's game, considering that Lena and Nyna and Elice need a better version badly. The only thing I'm actually happy to see is Nergal.
This is the most disappointing Fallen banner for me personally, and I never even liked the theme. I don't think I'm going to spark here anymore.

This was surprisingly easy with Winter Dimitri. All I had to do was have him take out the armor knight, get danced, take out Loki, and tank things with his face on the EP. It did take 2 turns though because there was an enemy no one could reach.

I pulled Mycen and Tina on the same circle just now. I'm 5 pulls from spark and I have focus charge because of an earlier off-focus Sain. This is also excluding the 5-star Hayato and Mozu from before.
I'm so confused.

It's more that Loki was probably always going to get some sort of special version, and they probably had plans to do something with her even back then.
People giving her enough votes to get her into farfetched heroes forced them to release the non-special Loki that we already have, but that didn't override the fact that they probably wanted to release actually mythic Loki after Thorr was added as a mythic.
So Loki's basically Lumera 2.0

... This just in. I fucking hate Hayato and his stupid face and his stupid art and his stupid pity breaking me at 5-stars when I haven't gotten anyone else on the banner yet.
And considering that I didn't like him as a character in Fates and dislike how he's portrayed in Heroes even more, this is even more annoying. At least when Laurent did it, I wasn't too upset because Laurent was legitimately the character I liked the most on his banner (and had good art). Hayato is just no.

I agree it's not amazing, but 3H is probably still slightly better off than some of the other games like Binding Blade and SoV, especially since Winter Dorothea was at least on a sparkable seasonal banner.
They should also let other units besides Dorothea be a dancer, since it wasn't locked to her by canon in 3H anyway.

It sucks, but Fates and Blazing Blade really benefited from having a dancer among its main characters. Pretty much ever other title in FEH besides FEH itself has a pretty bad and/or limited selection of dancers / refreshers.
I honestly really hate the way dancers are distributed in this game, tbh.
Heroes, FE7, and Fates get all the amazing premium dancers because of the fairies, Ninian, and Azura. Who yes, are important, but it certainly doesn't help me with limited battles that aren't one of those games.
3H is pretty well off on dancers because Dorothea's later two alts are at least good. Genealogy/Thracia doesn't really have a single standout dancer like Ninian and Azura, but the sheer quantity of dancers is a lot. (They also have Duo Sigurd.) PoR shares Harmonic Azura at least, but RD only has the herons and the very old Hoshidan Festival Micaiah and Elincia. SoV only has the rather old Soiree Berkut and Rinea. Binding Blade has the two Larums (neither of whom have a prf) and Sacred Stones only has Tethys. Awakening has four very old dancers, the most recent of which is that flying Olivia who is also the only one with a prf, and I swear Archanea still only has Phina. EDIT: Oh, and Engage only has Harvest Seadall.
The distribution of dancers is plain embarrassing.

This banner sure is a banner.
I'm a teensy bit angry that Hayato gets to be added as a normal unit on a banner, like Ewan several years ago, while IS put Tormod in seasonal hell. But that's a "me" problem.
EDIT: Also, Candace isn't a - bad - option, per say, but with so many glaring omissions and the rate of banners being slow as molasses, I really would've preferred Shura or Percy or some otherwise playable character ;/ EDIT2: Fuck emojis.

I guess it tracks since Lissa already was younger than most the cast but its still silly. I know we had literal baby Est too but she was an accessory rather than an actual unit.
Isn't Young Est basically how old Young Lissa is? At the very least, I feel like post-time skip Lissa should be about the same age as New Mystery Est.

It's also funny how they keep on running away from the canon SoV child designs.
I feel like the first three games were chosen because of that one FEH comic from a long time ago. And Awakening has canon designs for young Emmeryn, Chrom, and Lissa so that's about half the work done there. But they continue to skip over SoV and made up entirely new designs for FE7.
And because the child banners are so mired in canon, it's not like we really get anything too interesting for these characters anyway. Lissa getting an axe is the most interesting thing that's happened with the child banners, and even then she canonically can wield one so it isn't too left field.
