I didn't play FE5. Nor did I play any FEs before 4. Nor have I played FE:SD.

You don't like the Dawn Brigade? Then don't use them. Rape everything with Nolan, Volug, Jill, and Zihark, imo. Don't bother with any of the other noobs. And if you don't like some of these either, then don't use them. Volug can destroy everything by himself almost, so just do that. The final chapter is the only part 1 chapter that gives Volug trouble, and that's on hard mode. But you get the BK and Nailah, so you can just use them. But you clearly don't want to play this game, so don't play it.

That still leaves Fury for ch 3 and the rest of ch 2. And Cuan's continue isn't exactly reliable. It's what, 20%? You're not missing much. At all. And yes, he only attacks twice, but he also has massive str. And more def/hp. Also, why is Levin top tier? He doesn't have Pursuit, and he doesn't get Holsety until near the end of ch 4 iirc.

kinda old'd, but... Any lance dood with a half decent lance level can use that lance. And you'll want to give it to someone else anyway so you can use it the whole game.

It's a hell of a lot of an exaggeration when it barely does half her hp. And since she gains 22 exp per physic use, she'll have leveled once or twice. If she gains 1 def and 1 hp, it doesn't even do half her hp. Anyway, Elincia isn't just one of the best 2-E units; she is the best by leagues. In a 2-E tier list, she would be at least 2 tiers above the next highest. At least on HM. On NM, Haar is pretty amazing, too.

These aren't really something to debate. I see it as you have a HM tier list and a NM tier list, almost just the same as you would have a FE7 tier list and a FE8 tier list. Same on with/without exp rank. Or with/without ranks at all. Though debating on the exp rank, or any rank, or ranks in general, on how good of a measure of effeciency/character worth they are... could be nice. And worth of movement can be done in character debaets, and it's really dependant on the units anyway. The rest are cool, though.

Ike and Reyson got buffed even more. Gatrie and Rolf got buffed. Haar and Mia massive buffs. Shinon probably has the biggest boost of any character in the game. Boyd, Marcia, Tanith nerfed and more

He's only down in str by 3-4. He's up in luck and skl by the same amount and up in spd by even more.

They get Bs before Deak gets any C, unless he's supporting Lot/Thany/Ward. Alan-Lance A is at about the same time as Deak is getting his Cs. Alan-Lance A takes 25 more turns than Deak-Clarine C, but they have ch 1, ch 2, ch 3, and part of ch 4 before Deak-Clarine even starts.

Alan and Lance quickly surpass him in atk/spd while being on par in spd/atk. By quickly, I mean like ch 7.

It's a decent weapon. What makes it good is how early you get it.

No. Once you get to 20+, Guy's level is higher. He's free to promote at ch 22 or whatever, while Lyn has to wait at least until 26 (Hector mode numbering), while Guy continues to gain exp in 23, 23x, 24, and 25. Then you may decide to promote Eliwood first, in which case Lyn has to wait even longer: through 26, 27, and 28. First of all, even if Lyn were 4 levels higher, that still only closes the defensive stat gaps less than 1/3 of the way. Even a 20 Lyn loses to a lv 12 Guy in hp by 2 and def by 1-2. Secondly, Lyn's level is not likely higher. Lyn starts a level lower (after the prologue, since that's pretty fixed) and has 10 chapters that average about 14 lv 1-2 units. Guy has 3.5 chapters that have about 35 enemies each with units at lv 3-4. That's pretty equivalent. Factoring in everything, Lyn's level is lower than Guy's. Factor in playing Eliwood mode instead of Hector mode (maybe about a 1/3 of the time? less? Hector mode seems to be preferred over Eliwood mode, and EHM and ENM are really so similar that they hardly warrant separating anyway), which reduces the number of chapters Guy has and number of enemies per chapter, and factor in not playing through Lyn mode, which reduces Lyn's level (and stats per level). Lyn gets shafted the most on these two factors. Funny you should say that when Lyn's offensive stats are about the same as Guy's on normal mode (Guy's spd is still higher. Lyn has the prepromotion offensive edge overall, though, due to Mani Katti's +7-8 damage on cav/armor/nomads). And his defensive stats are still significantly better. No, NM Guy performs just the same as HHM Guy. Both his stats and enemy stats are lower/higher.
