Could be. I think my number keeps getting changed in their system is what happens; It used to be my parents house number but I switched it to my cell phone when I moved out the first time. But I've never gotten a call to my cell and I know that's the number in their system because that's the number I have to use to look up my rewards card... I dunno, I just know I may have gotten a call once a long long time ago back when I was in my late high school/early college years

Actually my store tends to forget to do this even though they're pretty good at keeping tabs on things. I never got calls for DA2, ME3, MvC3, etc so I'm mostly calling them out of paranoia

Yeah it's definitely more in character for Anna but it just seems like a nice jab at the game overall. Not that I'm complaining, I want a harem going with all the single dudes and ladies. Anna's just too awesome to handle as a PC, no wonder she's been an NPC for so long

I wouldnt mind just cancelling my order and getting a digital copy if 1. I didn't want that artbook so damn much and 2. it didn't take up so much space. I'm still using the default 2gb one mine game with and that would clear out all remaining space alone just by downloading it. And I can't really afford a new memory card at the moment either... I only make $300 a month, most of my money is gone between bills and surprise expenses that pop up each month.

Seems like it. I'm not in school at the moment and am still trying to find a stable job though since I'm making absolute crap for cash and won't get payed until sometime next week so I have to conserve what gas I have, so no extra trips to gamestop for me : ( Just have to keep bothering them with calls is all. But I'm not just juggling my order, my friend pre-ordered the bundle from that store and put it in my name since she's out of town at a wedding so I've got to manage two orders. Haha I've done the same thing. One of the older female workers at my store is already annoyed with how much I've called, but thankfully the guy who I assume is the manager there (he's been there longer than anyone else at that store) doesn't care if I call often and told me to call him again tomorrow, which I will. I could barely afford the game, I can't afford the gas to make a near 20 mile round trip to check out my store in person : (

It's more of a service issue for me. I go to gamestop a lot because the people at my local store are really kind and generally way more attentive than WalMart, Best Buy and Target (in my area at least) and I've been waiting for this game for a while. I don't really feel comfortable paying $45+ to preorder a game only to keep getting told different stories on when I might receive my game because of an error on Nintendo's part. It's less of the wait and more of the unknown that's starting to anger me over this whole fiasco. Also as bad as I feel for Europe for having to wait, if things are this hectic in NoA then it might get like that over there too

I just called my gamestop again and was lucky enough to get on the phone with the most knowledgeable worker in the store. He double checked their corporate emails for me and he said they have been notified of shipping delays to their store, but their system still tells them that tuesday is when they should be expecting their shipment. He also pointed out that Nintendo did the same thing with the Adventure Time game on the 3DS and is baffled on why they shot themselves in the foot with Fire Emblem as well considering how much they've been advertising this game. I'm staying hopeful but I'm worried about having to wait possibly up until Friday, sigh.

Ugh it looks like I'm due for another phone call to my gamestop. I haven't talked to them since Friday so I should probably check with them on their shipments before I get surprised by an 8th release date

Female playing as female because of Stahl. But there's just a lot of dudes I like in the game. I'll be switching over to a male Avatar for the second run though, and then just alternate back and forth as I please since I know I'll be replaying this game a lot.

I'm just saying that Arrival is something you can consider a lot more plausible to just be filler than Shadow Broker since it's explained way better than 'What you killed the shadow broker what' if you didn't play it That's dumb destroy option all the way though that was another case of bioware contradicting themselves with established lore. I've just seen the DLC discussions so many times I get kind of antsy about it is all. In hindsight I realized I dump quite a bit into DLC for games I really enjoy so this game will probably be no different for me, haha. At least it's cheaper than Xbox or PS3 games at new price, those start at $60 geesh. And the DLC is mostly cheaper aw yeah. Also Wheels: You're ridiculous

This is true, though I'd like to point out one thing: Not playing Arrival is actually covered pretty realistically, you get put under house arrest because you defected technically to work with Cerberus is how they explain it (I actually didn't even get Arrival until ME3 had been out for like 4 months). But LotSB is pretty much pivotal to getting the full story in ME3. But yeah, FE13 pretty much does DLC right from what I've seen. It's all just challenge stuff from what I've seen and the only somewhat substantial story stuff that they have are Summer of Bonds and Future of Despair which is still just for fun/alternate future things that don't actually further or really affect the main story.

I feel like I say this to just about everyone who mentions DLC making a game expensive, but I'll take a crack at it again. DLC is an add on, not required. Since no one actually puts a gun to your head and say 'buy this or else', it's more realistic to assume at first you're only going to spend the $40 the game costs up front. Also, Awakening is a pretty hearty game on it's own without any extra DLC, and realistically DLC that actually can further game is free but are only sidequests (by further your game I am referring to the Spotpass characters like Gangrel and the others) Now if you want to go ahead and buy everything then yeah, it's gonna be expensive. But it just really bothers me when people continue to perpetuate the myth that you HAVE to buy the DLC to have a full game. I rarely buy DLC myself because money is always tight, but I've never enjoyed a game less for it. That said, there are a few DLC maps I'm planning on getting since these are relatively cheaper than Xbox DLC. Free Marth DLC obviously, the Future of Despair series, Lyn and Ephraim's DLC (two of my favorite lords), and possibly Leaf's as well just because his art is so badass. Maybe later when I'm not having as much money issues I'll invest in Alm's and Eirika's for the extra classes. But I may forgo Lyn and Ephraim for the Infinite Divine Weapons and the Gold and Silver missions for weapons and money if things get tight in my inevitable Lunatic run, who knows.

Oh neat, then you may not be all that far from me (though I live North of LA so maybe not??) I called gamestop again today just to double check with my friends that work there and they're still holding firm to their 4th/5th release date. Also they weren't sure if there would be a different date for the bundle, but they said that it should be shipping with the cartridge games for their store

It must be a local gamestop. I'm in SoCal about an hour and a half from LA and almost 3 from SD and my store is expecting their shipment between the 4th and 5th. I haven't asked any of the other gamestops around my area if their release dates are the same as my particular store though so maybe mine just had a high demand??

I'd put money on no, because of how limited supplies are across the country. You'll probably have to pick it up at the exact store unfortunately (I was told the same thing over ME3 because I had moved two days before it released and had to pick it up at the store I preordered it at since the limited edition sold out everywhere else..)

Yeah. My gamestop is pretty good about giving priority to pre-orders, I've never ran into any issues with them. But I've been going to this store since it opened (nearly five years ago?) and I know everyone who works there personally. By now they know if they mess up and give my copy away to someone else I'll raise hell despite being pretty mild mannered usually haha At least I have a bunch of stuff to do around the house to keep my mind off this wait.
