  1. Not houses, per se, but FE10 has sideways doors in Part 1 Ch7. The prison cells. Food for thought.
  2. Merc/Hero because they are the perfect balance of str/spd/def for my taste. Delicious. And swords. And mercenaries just appeal to me for some reason.
  3. I'm just giving perspective: I've heard it enough that it seems NORMAL to me. And you guys have given me perspective: I've been taking things like language usage for granted. My world has been so very small...
  4. These are up: 01500-76475-73973-20837
  5. It's a quirk. It's a way of talking. I've heard this type of talk often enough that I don't understand why it warrants mention. In other words: how it possible to have never heard this type of thing before?? PS: I'm a prairie bumpkin in Canada, for what it's worth. :v
  6. @daisy jane I've got Hinoka up with Astra/Luna/RendHeaven: 01500-76475-73973-20837
  7. Shit, I don't even know what to say. I guess... I want all these background stories fully fleshed out. DLC maps or memory prisms or a game full of mini-stories or what have you. Saber, Deen, Nuibaba... Damn. I patiently await more goodies. @Kirokan Yo, put your little plus sign for Saber in the first post. ...Sorry, that sounded kinda rude. Pretty please.
  8. This style from the old TCG is my favorite. It just screams "Fire Emblem" to me, even with it's awkwardly long legs and faces that look the same and occasional derpy anatomy. After that, Echoes and Radiant Dawn.
  9. SLIME MONSTER DUMA IS BACK! He isn't slimy in Echoes. :( Saber's complicated outfit, mmm.
  10. I am sick of mirrored portrait inversions. It results in some horrendously stupid shit that drives me nuts (perfectionism, obsessive-compulsive, etc, IT ISN'T PROPER). Chrom is the only character in the series that has a proper inversion, everyone else (pre-Echoes) gets mirrored. Ugh, it isn't proper damnit! Yeah, yeah, some characters are perfectly symmetrical...
  11. "Tiki? But...you died in that world." "In our world, Naga is dead" Who means what? What means dead? I'm not making sense either.
  12. That...is an awesome write-up. I'd like to present this: Just to throw a wrench in things. :v
  13. This topic has been bothering me. Damn dragons don't know how to give up the ghost. Their life energy is too strong for their spirits to vanish. Some notes: -Naga dies in Archanea Year -500. Nagi is found floating around in Archanea Year 607 (but she's in an Outrealm so maybe there's a time difference). Then 1000 years later, Naga has something to do with the first exalt. Then another 1000 years later, Naga is in Awakening and who knows if she has a real body to walk around in or is just a spirit. -In the alternate future of Awakenings' DLC, both Naga and Tiki are killed but survive as spirits. -Medues and Grima are sealed repeatedly and revived repeatedly. Grima is supposedly utterly destroyed "by his own hand" via Robin. -Mila is simultaneously killed, sealed, and survives in spirit form. Seriously! Damn dragons don't know HOW to give up the ghost! ...I suppose this is why the bad guys keep getting sealed. Too difficult to actually kill them, and they're so powerful they'll just revive eventually anyway. Easier-ish to seal them. Isn't this the shtick with Dragon's Table? The spirits of the feral earth dragons from before Marth's time gathered there? I don't quite remember. They didn't go extinct, exactly. Tiki is still around, at the very least. The dragons wiped out most of their species in that war, both earth dragons and divine dragons. I seem to recall that some of the earth dragons survived and actually did become manaketes. (The earth dragons started the war because they were against the idea of taking human form. It's a little more complicated, but I'll save that history lesson.) Sooo... Neither side was forced to extinction. Just close to it. Humans were also almost wiped out in that war. 'Course by the time of Awakening who knows if any earth dragons are still around. :v
  14. Seems they only explained part of it... In Japanese, there are multiple first person pronouns whereas English has only one: I. "I am blah blah." "Bob and I went to store"...which is commonly butchered to "me and Bob". Japanese!Awakening has watashi, atashi, boku and ore. Atashi is feminine and a very cutesy way of referring to yourself; watashi is neutral and/or professional and gender neutral; boku is masculine, or more accurately "boyish" (also occasionally used by tomboys); ore is masculine and is quite arrogant. There are other subtleties and nuances, but that's the gist of it. It's simply a way of talking. In terms of dialogue in Awakening, they had to swap out the pronouns. So, it's simply the same dialogue copy/pasted and then replaced pronouns. English doesn't have that problem. The "fourth" voice option is a mute option. No voice at all. Yes, this alters the dialogue: the other characters have to say some of Reflet's lines for him. But that's it; everything content-wise is the same as the other voice options. People have complained about the mute option being cut. tl;dr: Exact same content, different pronouns (the English language does not have this pronoun issue). Unrelated, why is this still pinned? The project was quietly completed years ago, and the other script-related project threads were unpinned when completed.
  15. This is turning into a clusterfuck... I did not say I wanted Counter on Ophelia; @ShinjiFan4ever is the one who wants it. I do have Countermagic on Ophelia. She's up, along with Pass!Kaze. Also up are Midori/Shiro/Soleil/Shigure with some skills Shinji wanted.
  16. Goody, confirmation that I've pronounced it incorrectly for ~7 years. I found out the proper pronunciation of the name 2 months ago and my mind was blown. That feeling when everything you thought you knew comes crumbling down.
  17. What is the deal with Berkut kidnapping Fernand? FAILING to kidnap him? I mean, after Fernand turned himself in Berkut sort of did kidnap him...sort of...
  18. "Duma's Entrails" being a volcano just makes me think it was named to represent War Father Duma's inner fire. Blazing fury. The people of the continent needed to name the place SOMETHING. It's a wretched place, it needs a suitable name. Off on a tangent: The Demon's Ingle/Duma's Entrails is dangerously close to where the Zofian capital used to be. There were landslides near there; the earth eventually opened up into to expose the inner fire? Tangent of the tangent: Zofia Harbor became Divine Dragon Grounds. Say'ri says this: "This is Naga's Cradle. It is said the divine dragon once called this place home." Zofia Harbor wasn't anything special. Naga must have visited in the 2000 years between Almica and Walhart, but...why? Why go to Valentia? And stay long enough that humans--uh, that humans called it her "home"... Nevermind, dragons' sense of time is different. Still, why go to Valentia? Why did Tiki go to Valentia? Crack theory: Duma and Mila are Naga's children. Legit dragon-babies. Like Tiki. Whoa, now it makes sense why Tiki went to Valentia... edit: Stolen, has been my thunder. D: About Zofia Castle.
  19. Random question: Was Valentia's founding year Year 0 or Year 1? I'm curious about the randomest things...
  20. Anyone else bothered by this? It's inconsequential to everything, but it's bothering me. Why is it bothering me?
  21. ...Tree Tops supercharging is a challenge? I'd like to revise my supercharge answer: I'm good enough to 100% all three games fairly easily (117%, whatever) That reminds of something I can't believe I forgot. Favorite line in the series: "Why you brazenly, avaricious, duplicitous, larcenous ursine!"
  22. Le sigh... Well, I don't have Pavise or Counter for Velouria. And I don't have Counter for Ophelia but I do have Countermagic on her. The others are still up. Kaze is up with Pass now.
  23. That doesn't help! D: Alright, to start: they've got Astra/Luna/RendHeaven and two breakers. 01500-76475-73973-20837
  24. Anything specific you want? I've got them with all legal skills (plus aptitude).
  25. Silly thing: check out the Archanean years on pages 3 and 4 of the timeline. 588->590->589 Whoops. Also...some of the years aren't matched properly to the Valentia years...which is causing me distress... mfjfdsgjrnbsjrnwa don't get me started
