    I used to revise almost everything in an essay, I have less time now and I tend to write an essay with the professionalism of a final draft. I'll make some slight grammar and sentence changes, but most of the time I'm happy

    Mercenary looks so good in this game omg. Especially the black/grey that Soleil and Selena have going on. I definitely prefer it to Awakening's Merc design.

    I do think that you put way too much focus on Ike. Ike is the equivalent of a Level 12 promoted unit right now in your game. That's a little much. I think you left your other units behind for a while because you focused way too much on Ike. edit: this goes for Ryoma too.

    Kalos isn't happening. Don't get your hopes up. This is also definitely Gen VII and I see absolutely no evidence to the contrary. Magearna and ComMon Bird #7 imply that this is a new generation. I actually can't believe that this is a point of contention tbh considering the new Pokemon. Zoroark and Munchlax were not part of III.5 or IV.5. As for Zygarde, expect to see it in a Delta Episode equivalent. Maybe this game's evil team tries to gather the Zygarde Cells. Maybe you go to one location in Kalos, but I highly doubt we have a Gen II situation here. The Delta Episode set an example for any future post game events.

    There is no Support/Sound Test viewer in the main menu. It's all in your castle, as the Records Hall does everything for you. You can still go back to it even if you've beaten the game. I don't like it tbh. I prefered viewing models while listening to music.

    Who wouldn't put the needs of their famiy over the needs of random strangers? This is a pretty common mindset and only makes Xander more relatable. I know that I wouldn't care about some random people if my family was in trouble, especially people from another country under another ruler's jurisdiction. It's also apparent because FE has nameless randoms as the innocents, and I find it very difficult to sympathize with nameless randoms.

    I can attest to this. My Great Master!Azama and Great Lord!Azura do more damage with Brass weapons than most of my characters lol

    Luck is a ridiculously easy bane to fix. Lodestar alone can probably fix any and all Luck issues Corrin could possibly have. Dread Fighter's Res means that magic would never be a problem if Corrin wanted to go Dread Fighter.

    Sure, that's true, but I don't see a single reason for you to be so condescending about it. Yes, Pair Up is insanely useful, and the stat boosts alone would be worth it. It also negates Tag Teams. However, if you really don't like it, then just try some more. I also dislike it when people suggest grinding just because it's Birthright and not Conquest. It's not exactly like people utterly abuse extra opportunities just because they aren't playing Conquest.

    days of ruin is definitely pretty great I felt that by Dual Strike, the cast was ridiculously bloated and the story stopped focusing on the cool characters like Sami or Eagle. I absolutely loved DoR's cast and felt that the size worked really well. The music was great, especially Will and Gage's themes, and the gameplay was pretty much the culmination of AW advancement. It's a better starting point, but it's not as easy to break. Depends on if one considers Advance Wars hard or not.

    It isn't very fair to Charlotte that you're relegating her to "Rinkah's Berserker source" charlotte's an amazing character who doesn't exactly deserve that treatment also Charlotte > Rinkah

    those were utterly awful I actually could take Thracia or Mystery's growths because you can manipulate them, and Genealogy has high children growths anyway. But the GBA games? Those growths were horrendous and it made me hate the game. A character could have perfectly servicable growths for the game itself but seeing such meager gains was infuriating. If GBA level growths were back, I'd stick to Fates and Awakening.
