Yes it's true. Sorry if that sounds silly. Keep in mind that my dad used to travel the world and learn spanish. It's also a lot harder and more expensive to learn about things. Here's the scene I am talking about. The the guy with the tunic is actually supposed to be the player from Japan. Basically he is a stranger in strange land doing terrible things. The game does not tell you how he feels about his neighbours but it implies he doesn't get along with them(there were plenty of destructive of wars in Asia, it's a lot more complicated than just saying can't we call just get along where I live). Sees a bunch of maps? which is a form of time. Have you watched the whole thing. That's the basic flaw. I would have no idea in the mid 90's what I was seeing. It's clear what they're saying in substitles but it's haha-speed racer style dubbed.They even read through the maps. It's the play dumb staretgy but keep in mind when I say this, there are close to 700 Pokemon in existence now. I don't know how many Detective Conan episodes there are at the moment but it sounds like he could solve a murder for 1 Pokemon trade. Not trying to sound silly but the math is sorta right. Hi guys, I forgot to mention this to to everyone, but could somebody do some simple calculations for me. I was a little unclear about myself so I do remember that 9/11 happened on the same day as Advance Wars. I know somebody from home who understands Spanish and basic math. I don't want to go into heavy detail but 9/11 happened around the same time as where I live. I was bit unclear about the dangers of miscalulations but I wanted to be as clear as possible on this site. I plopped down a bunch of region based on how Latin should be defined. Basicallty I answered my own question but I wanted to know how big the numbers are. Fire Emblem taught me to be open minded with anything. There are a bunch of people having fun on Facebook I hope. but do this calculation it's huge. Count up all the places I listed. Seriously she will read out whatever I have to say, yes or no. Basically if I did not get interested Fire Emblem or other foreign things you would not know. Just do some simple number crunching for me compare Venezeula to the rest of the Latin World I listed. Hi, I haven't been here very long but I really appreciate the maturity and diversity of opinion shown by people here. I have a decent amount of knowledge about reading code in politcs but I have no idea what it means to be "Latin" in the political sense. I will provide two examples that explain my confusion. A demographic one that has a local-personal context, a person who is used as a symbol to "emblem" to champion a cause, When I use "Latin" in quotation marks I do not exactly refer to South and Latin America. I am referring to any place the Spanish empire got established in. The Spanish did explore the west coast of North America (i.e. Juan de Fuca,Oregon?). On the other side of the Pacific Ocean there's an island country called the Phillipines(named after a Spanish king, which one? who knows). Although the Spanish Empire got a foot-hold in places like the Philippines, it does relate to where I am from because Vancouver has a large Fillipino community. This is why I am so confused by the term Latin and would like to know from you guys whether it is a universal term or depends on a local context(such as Latin America). I'm from the west so I will try to keep this as simple as possible. In north America outsiders may assume America is the leader of that area cause by if you just read spanish "norte de america". I do not ask political questions very often but about 100 years ago there was an event called the Spanish American war. Basically America conquered liberated it whatever in the first phase. Some dictator jerk took over but got replaced by another dictator jerk who seems hip(this applies more to Cuba as Castro replaced) in the second stage or phase. In the third stage or phase people living in the both places(trying to keep it as simple as possible as an outside) get tired of the new guy get tired and actually move somewhere like Canada or America. I'm using quotation marks because I think the concept of what it means to be Latin, if you include places like the Philippines and maybe a few African colonies. Also I put "depends" instead of no because I feel that whenever I am reading about a new story about the Latin world I feel it is very slanted. To keep things incredibly simple I will cite the case of one country. I really appreciate how mature and open-minded people are here so I made a basic poll that says depends instead of no. As someone from North America the media obsesses with Cuba often bragging about how "hip and cool" Che and Guevara(as an outside I've read some of things he says, he really doesn't sound like a man of peace even if he was an enemy of America). Also the media where I live brags about Cuban healthcare, makes it seem good. I really don't know the numbers in my head but hasn't Cuba's population actually dropped over the last 60 years. 90% of the time I think two sides are needed. This is a trifecta question I have. 30 years ago what we call "china was actually Taiwan." Brazil, would not exist today for example if the Spanish and Portugese had come to some agreement a long time ago. I've heard of the the concept boliveriainism, the idea of uniting a region into a single unit. I hope I am not trying to sound biased when I Pose this question. I already mentioned I'm from North America where is the big guy leader in terms of economics, while Germany is sort of the big guy leader in Europe.I am not trying to sound confusing but where I am from it seems like the media is distorting what Bolivarian is about. They seem more fixated on where the concept originates from rather than the point of getting there. Most people where I live might think he was cool when Chavez made those sulfur comments about America but if he's going to make stinky jokes/use toilet humor at the United Nations I would never want him in charge of the region where I live.
