  1. First time playing I trained avatar as a Berserker and then switched to hero once I learned axefaire. After that I tried a mix of grandmaster/dark knight and General/Great Knight. Always had speed as my priority.
  2. Quick question: when's the best time to evolve Helioptile?
  3. 12 cause you could choose what class you wanted from the start. I also really liked the accessories you could wear like a hat or bandana.
  4. Dragonite. Loveable dragon and very versatile.
  5. Dual wielding weapons sounds neat. Maybe it could involve bringing back weapon weight. Characters that are so slow and have a lot of con could take advantage of this feature.
  6. Lord:Hector Cavalier Knight: Seth. Great caretaker and adviser of the twin lords. Archer: Innes Pegasus Knight: Cynthia Myrmidon: Rutger. Never forget to use him when playing FE6. Fighter: The Vaike. Mage: Levyn and his son Ced/Sety cause Holsety was such a fun magic tome to use Wyvern Rider: Cormag Knight/armor: Lex Mercenary: Gerrik. Great like most potential heroes, plus I like the relationships he has with the rest of the mercenary band he leads. Priest/Cleric: Malicia. Funny girl and great cleric too. Thief: Gaius Pirate: Gonzales. Yes he's technically a brigand, but he also gets to be a berserker and is featured in the story arc dealing with pirates. non-human: The Laguz Royals. Don't have a specific favourite here.
  7. Tundra and Polar, don't those two kind of overlap? Cool gimmick though.
  8. Having browsed through the update page I think I'm going to go with: Greninja Delphox Tyrantrum that ghost pumpkin Although I was a tad dissapointed with how Delphox looked at first, it's really grown on me and the typing is hard for me to pass up. I always wanted a fire/psychic type that isn't a legendary or required an ability to activate.Going with the pumpkaboo line cause it also has unique typing and Halloween is just around the corner. I think I'm going to reserve the last two spots for returning Pokemon, ones I probably haven't used before. Mawile is one of my options for example.
  9. I'd love it. A mode similar to war room would also be welcome.
  10. Trailer Park Boys is one of my favourite TV shows. It's obscure outside of Canada which I think helps it stand out.
  11. ^I really like the name of that move.
  12. Any word on a list of TMs in this game? I loved the fact TMs were permanent last generation, but I did miss a few that didn't make the cut.
  13. Chapter 14x in Sword of Seals. Getting stuck in water tiles is no fun.
  14. Most likely Mario 64. Exploring 3d worlds for the first time back in the 90's was really something. The levels seemed so big and ambitious when I first played them, but now they seem more like playgrounds. Still love the game to this day.
  15. Has the habitat list from Black and White 2 made a return in X and Y?
  16. Never thought I'd see a keychain pokemon.
  17. It's been a toss up for my between Fennekin and Froakie for a while, but I'll settle with the latter. Reasons being I like the final evolution's looks/typing etc and I've decided to go with Megacharizard X as my other starter since I don't two starters of the same primary type.
  18. Hydregion learning dark pulse by level up instead of cross generation breeding or move tutor.
  19. Thanks for the grammar check I usually get those two mixed up :) I think you do raise some good points about 12's faults. I can agree with you that the middle segment of the game was kinda dull and formulaic. One part I really liked about the chase chapters was you could get some of the awesome weapons early if you wanted to take the risk. Are you sure there was no creativity in the map design? That one ice map with the zig-zaggy rivers felt very unorthodox and a lot side quest chapters didn't involve seizing thrones/gates. Lastly I agree with your sentiment on support conversations. They felt like a mixed bag, but at least I got a goodie at the end.
  20. The Kalos fire starter since I really like the design and tyrantrum for unique typing. I'm having a much harder time deciding what kanto starter to use, but I'm leaning towards Venusaur cause of thick fat and its offense advantage over the new fairy type.
  21. I really like Mega Charizard's x form. I thought I was looking at a shiny at first judging by all the dark colours.
  22. I like it. Was never expecting a tongue to be used as a scarce. I'm really anxious to know what the final starter evolutions are ever since some high quality fan art was mistaken as the real deal last week.
  23. Washington, Oregon, Califrornia and Texas. I've mostly gone to Washington with family to watch Mariners and Seahawks games since Seattle isn't too far from Vancouver.
  24. 12 by a large margin. The plot felt a lot more cohesive than its disjointed predecessor. It was refreshing to be able to unlock sidequests based on turn-count rather than killing your units. Battles were more enjoyable thanks to greater enemy variety. MU was a great feature that made the game stand out as more then just a remake and increased the replay value in my opinion. That's basically the gist of why I prefer 12 over 11.
  25. Physical. Don't have anything against digital, but I just don't see that many incentives at the moment.
