  1. I prefer fists cause I want to teach it drain punch. Gender doesn't matter.
  2. Darn. Turning off battle animations and using false swipe might speed things up.
  3. Awesome, that equals around 83% of all existing Pokemon.
  4. I should have clarified what I meant to say. By support I meant just the talking. I didn't know Shadow Dragon had a hidden support(is that true?) years after the fact.
  5. Excluding any future legendaries, does anyone know the total number of Pokemon you can acquire through the Kalos Pokedex and Friend Safari? I have a few friends that might be interested in the game but I think the sheer number of critters offered could really sway them towards a purchase.
  6. Thanks a bunch. Does anyone have a timburr with iron fist? Conkledurr is one of my favourites. Gender/ability doesn't matter. Same goes for Poliwag with Swift/Swim Drizzle. I want these two badly asap cause I really want to use them in battle and create nicknames. If you're online right now. Please respond to me on this page.
  7. Well if you want to skip a battle. I'd prefer to get my six core critters. They are evee, mamoswine (thick fat), poliwag (swift swim), timburr(sheer force), bidoof(moody) and Lucario. If you have all six of these just ask for a trade on 3ds, its on standby, if not let me know which ones you have. bidoof doesn't matter I just want one cause I'm Canadian and he's funny looking.
  8. Silver if you want to avoid fighting altogther since you say you're casual. we can just skip a battle and make like a six by six trade. There's a core group of ones I want. Once there taken care of I'll visit the thread less often.
  9. Of course. I'll be online waiting for the invite. Btw what part of the world are you from? If were say both from North America I could take care of a bunch of requests instantly.
  10. I also have Goodra with Gooey ability. An adamant female Pancham(mold breaker). Breedable grass and fire gen Vi starter. Breedable Blastoise(that knows aqua jet) off the top of my head. I hope that's generous enough for now. I don't care win or lose, I like to have fun. Being bale to trade enhances the fun.
  11. I've been able to battle people online frequently but I have had little luck making trades. I think I might as well combine the two. I've added a lot of people through message boards and random battles so I have trouble remembering names. Does anyone have a modest Lucario and Evee? If anyone does, please comment and tell me your ingame name(so I know its you when you want to battle me). I really want to be as efficient as possible. It would be appreciated if we could trade both after battle. Just list what you want from me and I will provide it from my pc box. I already have a bunch of protean froakies for example.
  12. Alright I came up with an efficient way to have fun fighting you guys and getting the pokemon I want. I really don't want to waste time staying up late to get the pokemon I want. We all live in different time zones so this should be a good compromise. For example I live in the Pacific Northwest so this should be convenient for players from Vancouver, LA, Seattle etc. If anybody challenges me to a battle could you please trade with me? Win or lose I will automatically trade with you. I don't care even if your team is full of caterpies. The first critter I want is a timburr with iron fist. I don't care at all about gender/nature. Just give me timburr with iron fist. Whoever responds first will get two guys of there choosing cause this guy requires a trade. If you dont have that a modest or calm evee is good too. I don't want to waste time relying on random encounters and other annoying stuff. For extra efficiency if you say yes on this message board I will give you extra extra priority. I'm having an easy time getting challenges accepted but not trades, so I might as well combine the two. Fun moveset idea/how to turn Greninja into a real ninja: Spikes/Substitute/shadow sneak/night slash. All four have immunities.
  13. Have you considered rotation battles? I ignored them last generation cause training Pokemon was tedious and the single-player campaign never encouraged using them. Each Evee represents a different element and can deal with different pokemon on the switch. If you enjoy egg moves this is very convenient because all of them can learn some of the same moves like shadow ball. If you use a move like reflect/lightscreen when you anticipate a switch this might give one of you Evees a fighting chance if it's fighting. I already mentioned in the competition thread that I'm interested in fighting in weather battles. For exmaple, A Glaceon equipped with assault vest spamming blizzard/Ice beam buffed up barrier can be pretty deadly if your opponent intends to use a move like flamethrower against it.
  14. Usually when a new game comes out from a long-running franchise you're bound to see two groups of people be very hostile. It's usually a mix of nostalgia gamers and hipsters. I remember when Shadow Dragon first came out I kept hearing people complain that game would dumb down the series and that the deaths lost meaning cause support conversations were gone. Well if you've played a lot of Fire Emblem games both of those complaints are bogus. Shadow Dragon has like 5 difficulty modes so you cant say it was dumbed down. The people upset about no supports obviously never played a Japan-only Fire Emblem. In FE4 you could have two characters fall in love(based on some choices) and barely utter an ounce of dialogue.
  15. For Special mine is usually surf or scad/Grass Knot/ Ice Beam or Blizzard, and finally dark pulse. I use grass knot instead of extra cause most trainers assume grass knot is a pointless move(which it isn't). This helps deceive and ko a threat to your fire Pokemon.I write or blizaard cause if you are playing rotation style you can use an abomasnow as a sacrifice then use blizzard(which jumps to 100% accuracy) for massive damage. I'm going to give him the assault vest cause the attacks he use changes his ability and weakness. When a electric shows up I switch to grass knot to resist electric damage then scald/surf if I assume I have enough damage output. I plan to use a adamant one too. Mine will be waterfall, shadow sneak, power-up punch, maybe acrobatics? I choose shadow sneak over water shuriken cause I think it might give fighting and normal immunity(haven't tested though. Also for an extra dose of confusion you could always not equip Greninja with a water type attack because Grass knot covers what water is good against(ground, rock, water). Plus it does decent damage to pokemon that are big and heavy like snorlax.
  16. Of course. Out of the the three Mario Princess's she is my favourite. She's basically the mother of the universe(or is it galaxy?), has a neat backstory, and the lumas that accompany her are really cute and charming.
  17. Personally if they do go the MU route I'd prefer him/her to start out as a youth and survive to see the end of the war. Another character like Finn or Oifey would be nice.
  18. Pikachu is the next detective Conan?
  19. By breeding two of the same species with an everstone. That's how I managed to stockpile so many modest froakies. Also I think a Gorebyss would be perfect for my water team. an agility plus amnesia would make a bulky fighting Pokemon like Conkledurr really deadly.
  20. I'll just try breeding one with the everstone trick. I'm just getting a little tired of relying on random encounters to get what I want when I already have a lot of stuff to trade .Multiscale combined with assault vest sounds amazing. Do you want one too?
  21. Well I tried to get one with multiscale. Sat at a friend safari for hours, caught plenty of dratinis but none of them had the multiscale. I even used false swipe to catch them.I've mentioned I'd love to have one constantly but nobody has bothered to trade with me for one.
  22. Thanks for letting me battle you two times in a row Alfred. I hope I was a decent challenge despite spoiling some of strategy details. A lot of the moves I mentioned regarding the deceptive Blastoise in the previous page are better suited for my the Dragonite I had in my party at the time. Since the Dragonite I have knows a lot of the same moves I had in mind as my adamant Blastoise I think it's better suited for wrecking destruction(I've dumped everything into speed and attack). What do you think is the most efficient strategy for a blastoise that relies mainly on stall tactics/revenge kill. I want to keep rock tomb and aqua jet as my physical but I'm not sure about the other two. Also I want to add ferrothorn to the rain team. It gets a anti-fire buffer in the rain, can install stealth rock, can learn thunder wave ,iron barbs seems like a great Brave Bird counter plus it can, is a popular choice for leftovers and is pretty strong. I'd like have a moveset of thunderwave/stealth rock and one stab move. I want one with a lot of special defense since I'm in the rain, hp for leftovers benefits and attack. What's the best EV distribution for this guy, his base stats are all over the place?
  23. New change. Always 6 vs 6. I wanna get my money's worth when I battle someone. Also I want to change my preference from single pokemon to rotation. Rotation battles seem to fit people like me who want to think outside the box. If you request a single battle I will accept the vast majority of the time unless I'm doing something in game. Also I'm fine with myself and opponents using Pokemon of the same type so long as they aren't legendaries. For example Dragonite is my fave Pokemon and I'd love to paricipate in a battle where I get to use two of them at the same time(makes for a neat guessing game right?).
