I was mostly thinking how it seemed unlikely that we'll get lucky enough for the mafia to have put two eggs in one basket that nicely for us. At this stage they should be well aware of how dangerous it is to try to help out their scum buddies. That said, Lux was the one that jumped into the bandwagon as well, and he was the last one, and trying to save his own skin, so I guess it's possible he ended up shooting a fellow mafia in the back. In short, I have minor misgivings with nothing really better to offer as a counter-lynch target. Has CATS been around lately? I don't remember seeing him here since he nearly got the noose earlier. That doesn't necessarily mean anything, as it's natural to try to avoid the spotlight after a narrow save like that, even for a townie. Very true.Still,we don't have enough to throw the spotlight on anyone else in particular,as you said. I saw him on the FE7 tier list a little while ago,but you hit the nail on the head,he's probably laying low after a close shave,it's natural. cheezperson Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 Well seeing as how I've got a massive number of votes that won't be retracted with about 5 minutes left in the round, I may as well come out and say it: I'm a mafia goon. You got me! I hate to sound like a sore loser, but all this was kind of a fluke. I'm pretty sure most of you will agree that before Lux was killed, the mafia were definitely running the show. We killed the vigilante and left no traces behind us, and the town voted with little/no evidence for 3 rounds. Of course, the 3rd try was the charm and you nabbed the godfather. Then you guys decided to lynch me because I tried to save Lux, which was the smart play. What's sad is that I logged on yesterday ready to switch my vote from Ninji to Lux (with the reasoning being to prevent another potential tie), but right when I got to posting, Spoon updated the topic, ending the day phase... and the rest is history! Balcerzak Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 If the investigator/cop/detective/whatever hasn't followed Weapons' advice, and secretly assembled a coalition of the investigated-and-found-to-be-innocent, they really really ought to. With the godfather dead, revealing yourself to those individuals will not result in getting mafia killed with 100% certainty. On the other hand, people receiving PMs should rightly be suspicious, in case a mafia plant is trying to false claim, so the suggestion is not wholly without danger, I guess. At any rate, I'm going through and compiling a list of people I strongly suspect are towns, and then will choose someone not on that list to vote for, as our leads at the moment are not obvious.
