What are you doing on New Years Eve?

2010 is almost over, and you should all have some sort of plans for tonight, which you should share!

Unfortunately, Im screwed over on New Years.

I'm going to have an awesome 6-8PM to go skating and watch fireworks with my friend Heather, but then I'm forced to go to my grandparents, highly against my will. I love my grandparents, but their house is soooo boring, and there's no Internet, so I can't do anything or talk to anyone.

While this goes on all my friends are partying with someone, and my parents are partying to, and ditching me with my sister and grandparents. What makes even less sense is that they can't even let me babysit her so I can stay home. As they said, "Sraying home alone on New Years is bad!"

*sigh*

Homework.

You got homework over new years?

That's crappy.

What subject?

Ain't nothing wrong with teetotalers as long as they don't try to get in the way of anybody else's fun.

That said, I'm going out to a party with my brother, and several mutual friends, as well as probably a ton of people from outside my circles. There should be poker, and drinking, and maybe Rock Band, if experience from last year can be used to gauge precedent. It should be fun.

Well, my parents are having a get together, and I thought a good friend of mine was coming, but apparently he went to town instead. So, instead of playing naruto ultimate ninja storm 2 socialising all night with someone my age I'm now incredibly bored and doing what i do on any other day at this time: come on here :/

My friend had to cancel her party...

So I decided I would treat myself to a nice, hot bath in a jacuzzi with some music, bath bombs, champagne, and a book.

It was a nice night.

Though, I lost track of time and missed the countdown by 29 minutes.

Good job Ecut . :)

I'm glad I didn't post what I thought was happening, because it didn't quite happen like that.

Went up to my grandmother's house for (way too much) dinner, followed by a three-generation jigsaw puzzle. Sometime in the middle of that, some idiots decided that firing illegal aerials in a neighborhood full of wooden houses was a FABULOUS idea. My grandmother went outside and scared the crap outta them. After that, watched the various fireworks shows from the dining room window. I got to see five shows at once. I watched my city temporarily turn into Los Angeles.

Overall, a very amusing New Year's Eve.
