And if it doesn't, then the character who was Vanished just loses all their EP. And recovering EP is a lot harder than HP or CP as mentioned before, because i'm pretty sure there aren't EP recovery items avaliable to buy. So you can't recover from Vanish and you can't resist it either. It is the worst status effect in the series. Especially in Sky 3rd where the whole game is one giant "higher dungeon". I always dread enemies getting the deathblow or vanish bonuses in areas "where the higher elements dwell". Having that sense of dread for the entire game is not something I would want. Though it does give you more opportunities to find ways to counteract it or use it to your benefit somehow, so it doesn't take you by surprise as much. Then again, counteracting enemies getting Vanish can only be either them squandering the bonus by starting to cast or them missing, the latter of which only happens if they happen to conveniently attack your dodgetank. Must have remembered wrong, sorry! If you feel like the 60€ price tag is too much for you, I'd just wait for a price drop. I saw on article on that b/c no Joy Con stick repairs for the time being. I saw someone made an undub patch for Baten Kaitos EWatLO a few years ago. Wonderful.
