hi I'm gonna try to post today, sorry for not posting in the RP a lot, I'm dealing with a specific anxiety that makes me think if I post my writing publicly everyone is going to think it will be shit and often I will start posts but that kicks in and I don't finish them. Or I'll have an anxiety attack over it which sucks.

since writing is the only real talent that I feel I have, I'm constantly paranoid everyone will think my one talent I've been working on for pretty much my entire life is all garbage and all of that effort went to waste, in which case would mean my life is worth nothing and yeah, other things I won't talk about.

I'm finally admitting this since I haven't been able to before I guess and also i wanted to apologize. This is why I get my turns done but flavor hasn't been coming from me and I'm sorry. It isn't anyone's fault and I don't want anyone getting too mad at me or to disrespect the work that SB and Rein put into this. Important to let everyone know: Things have been slowing down a bunch and SB is getting to be too busy to continue with hosting the RP. I'm not sure if things are going to continue, but I and a pretty good amount of others would like to keep it going. This means that from now on I will be doing a good amount more as lead mod if we continue. Should that be the case, I have a potential new co-mod and would work on a few other things to change as well, not limited to potentially re-opening signups and tweaking stats/promotion. There is also a new worldmap that was already in progress. That's about all.

Appearance: 5'7", 201 lbs, Caucasian, Green eyes, Dark Grey Mullet with a blue streak, magic dragon mark going down his right arm with a small 6 pointed star on his left shoulder, Wears a black shirt that has one sleeve covering the left shoulder and no sleeve on the right, a vest that covers his chain-mail armor while he wears it, a robe that covers his identity while traveling, black gloves, navy blue pants inspired by nobles and dread fighters, and normal hiking/traveling boots.

Personality: Nero is the type of person who has a calm personality and is a very nice person. He's shy about revealing his past to others. When he gets into battle, he uses his calmness to focus on the battle, taking down his foes with quick speeds and powerful attacks. He isn't ticked off easily, but can get furious over bad decisions.

Backstory: Nero had lived with an abusive step-family for 9 years, from birth date to his step-mother's birthday in August. Guards had found out that they were selling illegal items and importing them from his homeland of Irksa and helping inmates from prisons in Angala. After guards had arrested them, the 9-year-old Nero would join a school in Irksa's capital, where he learned how to write better, read better, and learn how to fight with swords and bows, and tomes too.

After graduating at 15, Nero then became a world traveler. One night on his travels, he encountered a small orb, which, when he touched it, he was given his marks. He knew his power could change or destroy the world, so he practiced it and kept his identity a secret. He had been on the road with no family for 3 years, but soon got a sword he could protect himself with.

Now, Nero looks to make the world a better place.

We're not currently sure the direction the rp is going to go, but even if we do continue in the current form, it is likely we will be doing it with a smaller group, so it's not clear there are any spots currently open even with Manix having dropped
