Also, Luna!Canas will be a huge player for me. Bartre and Canas both were the plan for my mvp duo, and I'm getting so blessed with speed and wtfRes. I've still only restarted twice. Also I havent touched savestates. I'd imagine Canas with Luna will take care of Nergal. I guess. 50 atk hitting res is a scary thing, though, when you're stuck with 19 levels worth of stats at most.
